First time ever seeing a pho menu written in English and Spanish, not Vietnamese. I was visiting a friend down the street & decided to pick up take out for late dinner. Ordered pho ga and thit nuong spring rolls. The spring rolls were pretty good. They were soft. There's no bean sprouts in the rolls. The pho ga was ok. The pho noodles were hard. Ga (chicken) Broth wasn't bad.

I got there at about 7:10pm and there was only 1 customer eating so the place was not busy. Best decision I made all day! Tina was very friendly and answered all my questions (I had quite a few) she was attentive, I felt like I was eating at my aunts house! I got the chicken and grilled pork spring rolls, and the beef and mixed veggies and the Thai Milk Tea was just right! My broth on my wonton soup was so good and had plenty of cilantro! I am from the southwest side of Houston and I am working in this area (Fema Debris Beryl Monitor) and glad I came here and leaving with a smile on my face, and my belly! Food was delicious!!!! I got the chicken pho and my husband got the steak and brisket pho omg this place is a hidden gem! The staff is nice and the food came super fast every thing was awesome! I stoped for the name. Not knowing what I was about to embark on, I was hoping for some new young chef pop up with lots of fried stuff. What I got was a Vietnamese sandwich shop style. Super simple, prices fairly low, minimal but still plenty to choose from. First the iced tea came out and it was a Japanese tea. I'm not a flavored tea girl but this was really nice and refreshing and unique. Thumbs up for taking a chance on this. Then my wonton soup came out. If the pho which I did not have is as flavorful as this.... I mean, this soup was not too greasy and nice with a bit some substance like real broth, not all watery. After that my chicken sandwich came out. They only have 3 options so I went for the chicken when I normally like shredded chicken. It was simple classic but I have to rave about how fresh all the veggies where! Keeping in mind the price, this stuff was really good, quality was as good as I believe they can find. I had gotten a thai tea with tapioca was not good at all the cashier was so nice but the drink wasn't good the tapioca had no flavor to it and the thai tea has a bitter taste to it i got a stomachache just after drinking it. This is a pretty new restaurant, but I and my girlfriend have been here many times already. I get a smoothie every time and i never regret it. I've tried something new everytime I've been, and i have not been disappointed in the least. The fish and shrimp with friend has become my favorite so far, though they have a good selection of plates to choose from. I will have this restaurant as a regular place to go on my foody list for a long time. read more

Just wow. Used to go to Pho Hai Van, but stopped going once I found a nat in my pho and manager tried to slide $5 under the table so others around didn't hear what was going on. Tried Tex Pho on a whim, and BEYOND pleasantly impressed! Real meat, fresh veggies in spring rolls, fresh tapioca in their smoothies, and overall delicious food.
