I've become at least a weekly regular here for a post workout protein smoothie. The customer service has been nothing but friendly, and they always make a good recommendation when I want to try something new. So far my favorite smoothies are their island green, avocolada, detox island green, triple berry oat, and acai berry boost. I've also tried their Thai crunch island flatbread with a side of their kale/apple slaw, and that was surprisingly good too. The smoothies here all use fresh fruits from what I saw them use. Tropical smoothie cafe also has a relatively easy to use app that makes ordering ahead a lot easier so you can quickly just pick it up when you're on the go. This Friendswood location is very clean, and conveniently located near a lot of different gyms. My goal is to try all of their smoothies at least once haha enjoy!

The store was empty and our intent was to put everything back before we left. But this rude "manager" was so lazy. And had to interrupt her time in the back. Even our 5 year old commented on the fact that "nobody works there" caz they were in the back. God forbid the lazy manager has to actually move her body. Disgusting establishment with a really rude manager. She should be fired. Shes also was like "i can't pronounce the owners last name" caz she is racist. Lol. Surprise.

I got the Mango Strawberry Green Tea with Strawberry Popping Boba (though I can't seem to find…read moreanything like that on their online menu, so I could just be wrong) and I really didn't vibe with it. Firstly, their green tea blend is just extremely dirty tasting, and it could have just been an issue on that day or something contaminated it, but it was just really unpleasant. The strawberry and mango flavors were really faint and got way overshadowed by the taste of the green tea, which was disappointing for sure. Now I have had some of their coffee, and it is significantly better, so I would just not recommend their green tea. Other than that, though, it was a good experience. Workers were very pleasant we were able to get through their drive through relatively fast. Definitely not an awful location, and I'm glad to see more coffee and drink places pop up around here, even if my initial experience hasn't been too great.

We first discovered Dutch Bros while visiting San Antonio and were totally bummed that there weren't any locations in our area. So when we saw the sign go up that one was coming, we were super excited. This coffee/tea/shake place is super hip and trendy, and the vibe is always fun and upbeat. The staff is consistently friendly and courteous, which really adds to the overall experience. They've got such a great variety of drinks--from shakes and teas to all kinds of coffee--so there's something for everyone. The lemon poppyseed muffins are a big hit with my kids, too. I know some people were frustrated that it took a while for them to open, but it really wasn't Dutch Bros' fault. They had to deal with permits, electricity, and other issues before they could officially open--but now they're finally here, and we couldn't be happier. Great drinks, great people, and a fun addition to the neighborhood. Totally worth the wait!

Afterwards when I got my food and asked her for ketchup she gave me two packets, but then I asked her for one more and said "NO." I didn't know it was a crime to ask for one more packet...I would've paid the $1 for it or something but she didn't have to be so rude about it.

Peyton seemed distracted and not very attentive during my order. I had to repeat my phone number multiple times, and when I asked about sugar-free options, I was told to wait for the advertisement slideshow to cycle through because she wasn't sure of the options herself. While I was in the middle of ordering, she walked away twice to dance with another employee after asking for the music to be turned up, which felt unprofessional and made it difficult to finish my order without repeating myself several times. I completely understand wanting to have fun at work, but I did feel a bit ignored during the interaction. I'll definitely still come back because the drinks are consistently good, but I just wanted to share my experience from today.
