This is a cute little place to come have lunch. It looks like you're at someone's house and eating in their dining room. There were 2 ladies working here preparing food when I stopped by for lunch. The menu is simple, but there are plenty of good options including salads, soup, sandwiches, pita pizza and nachos. Bowl of vegetable soup - $4.95 - Tasty and loaded with vegetables (zucchini, tomato, potato, etc) Tuna salad on lettuce with crackers - $5.25 - The salad was fresh and has pieces of apples, carrots and other veggies. There's also a store section that sells food and vitamins. ....| \ _ , , , - - , , _ , .../ , ` . - ' ` ' . _ \ - ; ; ; , _ ..| , a - ) ) _ . ; . Avocado Sandwich

Pretty neat little healthy place! Quick home-made lunches and soups. Most are vegetarian friendly :) I suggest to order over the phone and pickup.

Living in deer park many years never even noticed this spot till today. Very good healthy food like a mom & pops shop very warming environment. I had the chicken salad sandwich which was very filling and great priced.

When I saw the name Shuko 502 in Deer Park, I thought no way, Guatemalan food out here. But to my…read moresurprise, it's more of a Central American fusion spot, with nods to several countries. Still, the name Shuko had me curious, it's one of Guatemala's most iconic street foods, so I had to try it. For those who don't know, a traditional Guatemalan shuko is street food done right: grilled bun, steamed hot dog, Guatemalan-style guacamole (no onions or tomatoes), sauerkraut, mustard, ketchup, and mayo. Their take here is a bit different no guac on mine, but still packed with flavor. A mix of grilled meats, sauerkraut, and condiments all stuffed into a roll. Definitely not traditional, but still tasty. I also tried one of their pupusas, and it hit the spot. A classic revuelta melted cheese and chicharrón oozing out of a perfectly griddled corn masa pocket. Comfort food, plain and simple. Only downside The fries. They were undercooked, a little limp. Just needed a bit more time in the fryer. But overall, if you're into street food with a Central American twist, Shuko 502 is worth the stop.

Zero spice to it which is nice but still full of flavor. My wife enjoyed the salsa as well. The tables are beautiful and the food was absolutely amazing! The green spaghetti was a recommendation and I'm so glad I decided to try it. That pasta is some of the best pasta I've had in a while! Was not expecting that. The tacos were AMAZING! We can't wait to come back and eat here again.
