Stopped by since I was in the area and drove past this place. It's a cute little independent boba shop with a few tables but seems primarily to be an order and go kind of establishment. The employees were nice. I ordered the classic milk tea with no sugar adjustment. It's on the creamier side and I'd probably prefer it to be 25% less sweet, but overall not bad. I am thrilled to have found this place. I am always welcomed upon entering. There is multiple seating. I enjoy seeing all the beautiful orchids and customer service is good. I am a regular at this boba place because my work is so close to it. My coworkers and I especially enjoy this place. Best milk teas and softest boba (tapioca) I've ever had. Just as how it should be. They make them right in front of you so you can see they're using fresh watermelon and coconut to make it. I've tried a couple different add ins too, my favorite being the strawberry pudding. We've been regulars at Tealicious since they first opened in 2016. There is such a lack of boba places in the area and it was refreshing to have one close by. Their selection of drinks has definitely grown since they've first opened, and is now comparable to a typical bubble tea shop (smoothies, milk teas, frappes, regular teas). Their tapioca pearls are the freshest I've ever had (soft, not too chewy, never hard), which is probably the only reason why I come back. Initially, this was our go-to place. I really like the owners. Whenever they're there, our drinks are always made right. However, in the last few months, newer workers have been taking over, and the service, quality, and pace of the drinks has severely decreased. We always get the coffee milk tea, Thai tea, strawberry/banana or pina colada smoothie. Lately, they've been coming out blander, with so much ice, and our wait time is over 15 mins for a couple of drinks with no one before or behind us :( I would still come here to support the local business simply b/c the owners are nice, but what used to be a charming place is quickly becoming a hit-or-miss in terms of service and quality, depending on what time you come & which workers you're greeted by. When I see a mango smoothie with mango jellies at a boba tea shop, I am done looking at the menu. I ordered just that, and it was so perfect, that I immediately called my wife to ask if she would like one. She obliged, but because she's not a professional, she ordered something other than mango on mango. She still very much enjoyed hers, but c'mon... they had mango! The interior is very similar to just about any boba place you'll find - big enough for an ordering counter and a few tables, but not much outside of that. They could have used another employee, as one girl had to take and make all of the orders. This place is my jam! Their Vietnamese iced coffee is sooooo grood, great and good. To be honest, I haven't tried anything else but I'm an avid coffee drinker and Starbucks is terrible so I switched to tealicious! The people here are also very nice... it is such a change of pace to walk into a spot to get your coffee and not get ignored for 5 minutes while some hipster tries to impress his adolescent female counterpart with his knowledge of kombucha and latte art skills. The owner is very friendly, and although I am very familiar with tapioca drinks, she was very accommodating to other parties who are unfamiliar with the drinks and made many various samples for them to try. I actually tried one of the barista's "secret invention" which was a Mango Matcha Smoothie with tapioca. I adore mango, matcha, and tapioca, so to have all in one drink was a brilliant idea. The consistency was very smooth, not chunky, powdery, or artificially flavored at all. The drink had fresh mango, and the matcha powder was blended in perfectly. Another friend had taro pudding in his drink, which I've never tried before, and I highly enjoyed it. It's nice and soft in texture, and reminds me of Filipino ube (purple yam). I have been to many many tea houses at many many different locations all over Houston and other cities but this place is catching my attention. Decoration: Very nice and elegant decoration from the tables the chairs to the drawings on the wall. Service: The owner is very friendly and takes good care of my taste. If you don't like too sweet, or you like extra sweet, don't hesitate to ask them to adjust the sugar level. This is a good thing compared to many other places which make the drinks too sweet and when I ask, they refuse to adjust the sugar level.
