Update; I tried hello tealicous via door dash app and the drinks were really good! No odd taste and made on point. We decided to go to the shop on a Saturday morning to satisfy our crave and the odd smell inside was gone! We were pleasantly surprised! The drinks were delicious again! A friend of mine recommended me this place after seeing her post on Facebook and it's close to where I live! The interior of the place is so cute! The owner greeted me when I walked in to order my drink. I am a huge fan of taro and got the taro smoothie. The person that took my order suggested me to get the taro pudding so I got that as well. Omg the taro smoothie was perfect!!!!! It's so good that they used actual taro not the syrup/powder one like other boba places!!! The one will be my favorite place to hang out in Clear Lake! I've been coming here for three years now and I'll always have something good to say about them. Their staff is so friendly and kind to me every time. Although I rarely go due to the covid situation I'm always delighted when I come in for a strawberry banana smoothie. It's nice to enjoy the smoothie while reading a book and the music in the background. The art and creativity of their menu and walls is astonishing. I love love love this place. The fruit cocktail was extremely sweet like artificial sweetener was added and overpriced. 2 costed about $11 when the board said it's $4 each, even with tax it should've costed around $9 something at the most. An employee actually just informed me it's $5.41 for one drink. Quite pricey. read more

Although it is slightly more out of the way than Bubble Island, I have found Hello Tealicious to have more diverse options in coffee, smoothies, and tea, with a brighter interior and more outgoing staff. This is the only place in this area you'll find a durian smoothie and I've ordered it a couple of times (I was alone, go figure). I recently tried the Thai milk tea for the first time and the combination of milk, tea and tapioca is very addictive. I look forward to potentially trying some of their coffees on future visits. Combined with its competitor, and probably more so than it, there's no better place to sit and relax, and talk or play games with a friend, a classmate, or maybe even that special someone. read more

First impression was not great. We arrived at 9:30 and the employees saw us walk in and did not acknowledge us for awhile, making us feel like we were a bother. They were out of tapioca. They start closing down way before 10pm, which is understandable, but if your open, then you're open. You have to spend to spend $10 to use a card. If you're looking for a good drink, then you'll find on here. If you're looking for crappy staff, then you're in the right place. read more

Finally, another bubble tea spot in Clear Lake! Quick, friendly, and lots of flavors. Whether you prefer fruity, traditional milk teas, or coffee, there's something for everyone. Plus, with on going punch card rewards, you'll find yourself returning frequently. With the hot summer, I'd love to see them make a kid size on some of the smoothies, but for now, I just force the kids to agree on a flavor and share. The flavors don't taste like fresh fruit - I'm not sure if artificial flavorings are used. I've had many great experiences here, but on my last visit, my Thai tea was made with sour milk. I haven't returned since, a bit turned off by that. It was on a national holiday with an unusual worker behind the counter...but still, I haven't come back yet. I've been here before and their tapioca blends are decent. My husband and I decided to make a quick run before they closed. We got there 5 minutes before they closed (which is at 10pm). Apparently, the staff decides when they're going to close no matter if it conflicts with their business hours. Needless to say, their door wasn't locked but we were told they weren't open. We definitely will be going elsewhere for tapioca in the future. The one off of Clear Lake City Blvd is waaaay better anyhow. read more

Super excited to try this place! I haven't had a Thai milk tea in years, but suddenly had an intense craving for one. Came on yelp looking for a tea place and decided to try this one. It is so good, y'all! The first sip was like HEAVEN! The store was very clean and bright, smelled like a tea place, and the staff is super sweet. Paid nearly $5 bucks for a cup more than half way full of ice, and milk tea. Also, the ice is like Sonic ice, so it comes up the straw more often than the tapioca. I had been going to a different Teahouse by HEB that was no longer making the smoothies as good. So I decided to give this place a shot as I was looking for a new Teahouse. The first time I was impressed by the banana mango smoothies. I went back 4 other times with my kids & they had jenga so we played a few games. My kids really liked their smoothies with the kiwi topping & the pomegranate topping. Every time I have gone the consistency of the smoothies tasting great is up to par. Will keep coming back for more. I also liked that they had a punch card for after 10 visits you get a freebie. read more

I wouldn't say this is my favorite place to get boba, but for some reason I keep coming back. Tbh, I don't really care for their milk teas. The peach milk tea had an artificial peach taste, kinda like how peach lotion smells. I've tried several other milk tea flavors and I haven't liked any of them. BUT I tried one of their smoothies and omg was it good. It tasted so fresh and fruity and natural. Both their avocado and taro smoothies are quite a surprise! I'm used to smoothies that are primarily ice or that cause brain freeze, but neither of these did that -- they were just delicious drinks with the perfect levels of sweetness. I usually come to boba places for a bit of pep added to my step and the taro smoothie definitely did that for me! The avocado smoothie is great too; I liked having it melt in my mouth (I'm not sure if I've ever done that with a smoothie). Also!! The tea was pretty great ! I read some reviews about over-icing and I think they've modified their standard ice amounts to be more reasonable. I'd still recommend asking for "less ice", but it's not as heinous as some of the reviews make it seem. I'll always note great service as well: *really* nice dudes behind the counter! The tealiciois milk tea was very good, but sadly was the only good thing about this new place. They stuffed it it 70% full of ice, leaving very little of the actual tea to be present. And top of that, got charged a 50c credit card fee. They should incorporate that into the price mentioned on the board. I will go there again give them another shot. Opening today with grand opening happening tomorrow. All drinks today (6/5/16) are buy one get one free. And tomorrow are 20% off. The employees were super nice! They even offered to customize my drink to my level of sweetness. Which for some places more or less is needed. Didn't ask to do anything different to mine and my coconut smoothie was delicious. Other places make them more creamier but this place it's a little more icy. Which again I'm sure they can make them more how you like if you ask. Can't wait to visit again tomorrow for the grand opening! read more

I loved the interior of this place really simple and really clean. My boyfriend got a milk tea or tealicious milk tea with tap and egg pudding and I got the mango green tea with tap. His milk tea seemed watery and did not even taste like tea as well as my mango green tea. My mango flavor was veryyyyyy artificial so it tasted like SUPER SWEET mango water. The boba was also bland but if it was sweeten then the drink would've of been SUPER SUPER SWEET. The drinks were also a bit over priced and in my opinion was not worth that extra amount of money. I am an avid tea drinker and I love the taste of it without sugar or any type sweetener. If you don't like that tea taste then this would be a great place for you. read more

We usually get the Thai Green tea. The vietnamese coffee isn't restaurant quality like the ones you get from a traditional Viet place but it will give you a caffeine fix if your craving it. The boba is great but if you want better Cafe Sua then go to Oriental Gourmet Express. It is also off Nasa Parkway and you can get it iced there as well but they wont have boba. read more

Stopped in on our way to the waterfront park. It was cutesy, great playlist and very chill. I got the Fruit Cocktail tea with mango poppers - delicious! I love how the fruit was cut up for a perfect size when sipping tea. My partner got the hazelnut milk tea with boba, he wasn't as impressed, when I took a sip I understood. The flavor was subtle but could have a bit more hazelnut flavor and sweetener. Overall, they had what we wanted and we are looking forward to trying it again another time! read more

The shop is nicely decorated with a modern feel to it. The drinks are very good. I got the honeydew smoothie and hubby got lychee iced tea. The sweetness level was just right. Whenever we get bubble tea from Teahouse we always had to ask for them to hold the sugar or it would be too sweet for our taste. Here it was not necessary.
