A stupidly long time for an order to prepared

The drinks are amazing but tell me why it's taking an hour for my drinks to be prepared when I ordered two creme brûlée when I'm door-dashing it and it STILL hasn't arrived I ordered it at 5:54 and it's not arriving until 6:40? Hurry it up I'm thirsty

Croffle with milk foam and pearl boba

Gong Cha is hard to find, it's packed into a small strip by the busy Bay Area highway. Their interior is classy mixed with modern. The staff are wonderful and their prices aren't bad. Gong Cha has a vast variety of drinks; tea, milk tea, coffee, tea lattes and slushes. There's free Wi-Fi and their seats are quite comfortable. There are no savory snacks, but their waffle cones and croffles are delicious. I'd come back to Gong Cha again when I'm in Bay Area sometime.

Got the strawberry crembrule drink with boba. The boba balls fell apart a little too easily but the drink tasted good. Too much foam in the drink....took up half the cup :( service was fast and the decorations were very cute.

Right after eating Vietnamese, we stop for bubble tea. The bubble tea here is very affordable and has decent but not overtly selection of flavors. It came out within reasonable timeframe. The ordering process was easy and smooth.

Service was lacking, as the worker running tbe register was not welcoming. There is also a discrepancy between the prices of toppings (we were charged $1 when the menu says $0.75. When we asked about the discrepancy, we were given no explanation. Aside from that, the store itself is very nice, clean, and calm. Plenty of seating areas with lots of natural light

A good place to get some Vietnamese coffee and play some Jenga. I suggest you try it

I have free XL upgrade. But, the girl staff said they dont have XL cup anymore. And, i cant make an order of it. Cause they dont have the XL cup. I asked them if they can make 1 L and 1 M instead. But, she still refuse it. The promo is end today. And, they not close yet. Too much excuses from her. And i cant make an order with the promotions i got. It really piss me off.

A friend of mine recently introduced me to Gong Cha and I'm so glad she did because I plan to frequent this place. I took my husband there today and tried a different drink and a bubble waffle. It was warm and delicious. I shared with my husband, but I didn't want to lol. I'm looking forward to taking my mom and my sister next time. I definitely could see myself stopping by to try different drinks any time im in the area. I like that they have some seasonal drinks, but since they're limited time I guess I'll just have to go more often lol. I highly recommend the bubble waffle if you want a snack. The Strawberry Mille cake is also good. I haven't tried any other food, but every drink I've had has been a winner.

Have waited forever to try Gong Cha and it definitely is worth the hype. It's always exciting to have a new boba place open up in the Clear Lake area. Interior is spacious, clean, and airy. Plenty of seating for study dates and hangouts when COVID subsides. Quiet music. I got the dirty brown sugar boba in the Medium size with no pearls. The cost was over $5! That's super expensive for what essentially is a small drink with no toppings, but it was tasty and rich. I usually get my drinks with light ice and full sweetness. It is comparable to Happy Lemon in California. I wish the cashier made it look more visually appealing with the streaks on the side as she did with the customer after me who ordered the same exact thing, but there are always discrepancies in customer service & disappointments that come with any experience. We also got the fresh taro milk, Filipino mango coconut, and Thai tea latte. Thai tea latte is basically just a regular Thai tea and it was $6!!! Skip this if you come here, it is average at best and definitely not worth the price tag. Overall, cute shop and good drinks, but if the prices go any higher it is difficult to make this a regular go-to stop :(

Everytime I visit my sister in ATX we make a stop at Gong Cha. So you can only imagine my excitement when they opened up outside Baybrook mall...ahhhhhhhh!!! We have quite a bit of boba places in the area but this place is my #1 go to. So many option and consistently delicious! You can adjust your sugar level on most drinks and not all boba places give you that option. Everything I order I add tapioca but you can order without or other different jellies. So I don't over indulge i always order the medium. There are no small size. Drinks: Taro milk latte: caffeine free option. If you are a taro fan like me then this is a must try. Soooo delicious! My big plus, I love, is getting small taro pieces with tapioca on almost each sip...now I am wanting one as I type this. This is on a taro series so unsure if they will have it permanently or if this will be a limited offer. My advice - don't wait too long! You can adjust the sugar level on this drink Strawberry matcha latte: I am also a matcha fan so a combination with strawberry was a must try for me. No disappointment here! The combination was perfect and it didn't last my whole 15 minutes to drive home. Hehe. Matcha isn't bitter but you get the matcha flavor and you definitely taste the strawberry. There is not an option to adjust the sugar level on the drink. Milk foam dirty brown sugar milk tea: I did not consume this one but being the good friend that I am, I ordered it for my friend who I was meeting for lunch and has no boba places near her. She loved it! *Hint* when you can I usually order light on the ice so that I get more liquid goodness. Who wants ice to take up space!? Bring on just a little more boba and liquid. Haha Food: Matcha bubble waffle: first off, they mention matcha - yes! Second, waffles - I love waffles! Third, bubble - who doesn't want to jazz up their waffles in a cute bubble shape!? Served warm and every bite was worth every penny! There are 2 other flavors but to be honest with you I couldn't tell you what they are because when I saw matcha...game over! Eventually I will venture off and try the other flavors but until then matcha bubble waffle!!!!!!

Gong Cha near Baybrook Mall has taken the top spot when it comes to tapioca shops in Southeast Houston, it's no contest! With its modern looking interior, and wide selection of drinks, Gong Cha is here to stay for a long time. If it's your first time here, I recommend any of their "Top 10" most popular drinks. They make the top 10 list for a reason. I like that they allow you to get your drink hot/cold, adjust your sugar level, adjust your ice level, and choose whatever toppings you like (boba being the most popular of course). Personally my favorite drinks include their strawberry milk tea, lemon ai-yu white pearl tea, or their milk foam dirty brown sugar milk tea. I always go 50% sugar and less ice on all my drinks as well. Right now the store is quite busy cause they still have all the hype of their grand opening, but once the craze dies down a bit, I can see this being a great spot to study or get some work done. They have a good number of tables, chairs, and about 5-6 different outlets available if I remember correctly. Plus free wifi is available as well. I will definitely be back here soon to satisfy my tapioca obsession!

They charged for milk foam but didnt add milk foam

They charged milk foam but didn't add milk foam. so sad They forgot pearl on our drinks

Earl grey milk tea with 3J's
Chris H.

First time here! Got the earl grey milk tea with 3J's! First sip was heavenly! I really enjoyed this drink especially the 3 toppings that comes with it. The drink includes pudding jelly, grass jelly, and black tapioca balls. What a deal for a filling, sweet, pleasant drink. Definitely one of my favorite boba drinks!

I have been here multiple times over the past year and this place is so underrated. I love all…read moretheir food items because they are all so cheap, and their drinks are really good too. These are the drinks I have tried: Lychee Mango Tea, Premium Cana Oolong Milk Tea, Oreo Cake Cream Matcha Milk Tea, and Taro Milk Tea. As for the food, I have tried: Kimchi Fries, Squid Balls (spicy), Popcorn Chicken (garlic parm), Spicy Ramen, Takoyaki. Everything is good but the best drinks gotta be the Oolong Milk Tea and the Lychee Mango Tea, and the best food I always get is the Kimchi Fries. The interior is really nice and cozy. They have a lot of plants and they are real! The only problem about this place is that they're a bit too far and really deep in the Clear Lake area, they're right next to Go Shabu Hotpot. You should give them a try when you're in the area!

It is located in a plaza with not many stores nearby so this makes a great place for people who want to be in a quiet space. This time I ordered something light and refreshing: Earl Grey Black Tea with Tea Jelly. You can customize your sweetness and ice level! I also went for a special combination banh mi with no jalapeños to try. The tea hit the spot for me. Refreshing and strong tea flavor. Exactly what I needed! The Banh Mi was delicious. I finished it all in one sitting. I thought combination meant actual grilled meats, but it seems like they are the processed Vietnamese sliced meats. No big deal. Still delicious and flavorful. It came with cucumbers, pickled veggies, cilantro, and a mixed mayo spread. They had plenty of seats inside for groups and individuals to sit and study/relax, along with greenery to make this place more cozy and relaxing. They also had a shelf of games you can play! The staff were nice and was respectful when I asked for a few minutes to look through their menu. This place has yet to disappoint one bit. I will be a very frequent returning customer!

The inside is setup with a warm interior that really takes you right out of the busy city nestled away from a really busy highway. Here you order at the counter and your drink is brought to your seating area. My first unfortunate experience is that the sofa-lite chair cushion has been pretty worn down, so sitting in it wasn't the most comfortable - not a dealbreaker but its noticeable. But my much bigger disappointment is how when the cà phê sữa đá (vietnamese iced coffee) comes out... it tasted just like regular drip coffee with condensed milk. A coffee you'd normally find yourself sipping through a conversation can just easily be chugged down seeing how thin it was. I'm not even going to give them a hard time of what kind of coffee was used either since every location has their preference. I'm only talking about it's overall richness. Regardless; beautiful place, large menu, I will probably return and try something else. Good vibes, just don't expect rocket fuel.

The Vietnamese sandwich was delicious, love the toasted baguette. To anyone in the area looking for a cafe, I would recommend this place!
