I loved it, but if you're expecting a super sweet coffee drink, this leans more coffee-forward. My coworker said her strawberry matcha tasted good, but the strawberry was very thick and settled at the bottom. I watched them make it and they added the strawberry first, so it didn't mix well. Might work better layered on top or stirred more. The two girls at the counter were very sweet. The inside is also really pretty -- honestly looks more like a fancy nail salon than a bubble tea spot, just not what I expected. Overall, great first visit. The food stayed hot in the metal bowl which was nice. The Bò Lúc Lắc arrived hot and sizzling, just as advertised. The beef was flavorful and cooked well. One thing to note is that it came with white rice rather than the fried rice shown on the menu description. The food was good, and I'd probably come back, but I'd try a different location because the service at this one was disappointing and ruined the experience. Andrew was very helpful, but the other two employees spent most of the time on their phones with their backs turned toward the dining room, making it difficult to get their attention. Been here a few times with family and now a few times with a friend or small group, and our experiences here have been almost all great. Unlike the Pho Barr in Clear Lake, this one does a much better job at managing service and the waitress I had on my most recent visit was very kind to both me and my friend. Food wise, I got the Mi Kho and Ultimate Fries. For a relatively low price, the Ultimate Fries give you A LOT of food, and I recommend getting it with the beef or pork, since they pair best with the egg yolk and other sauces on the fries. My Mi Kho was also really good. The broth was nice and rich and the Noodles themself were light and easy to eat with the sweet soy sauce. The atmosphere, particularly in daytime when light shines in through the restaurant front makes for a really comforting and open experience. Overall, Pho Barr deals with handling Vietnamese cuisine much better than other restaurants in the area and is definitely worth a try!
