If you're adventurous and/or just wanting something super flavorful, get the dac biet banh mi (combo sandwich). It has char-xíu (bbq) meat, bi (shredded pork), and cha (cold cuts). With the little amount of Vietnamese restaurants in Pearland, my friends and I have turned to this place whenever we are in need of some pho. Usually our parties are on the larger side since we come after tennis tournaments, and the service for us has always been great. They constantly refill our waters, have never messed up our orders, and tolerate our loud table. The food also comes out pretty quickly. Being Vietnamese, I would like to say I know my Vietnamese food, and I think this restaurant has decent food at an affordable price. The two times I've eaten here, I've gotten the Combo: a small Special Pho and 2 Grilled Pork Spring Rolls. The spring rolls are refreshing and the peanut sauce is tasty. The special pho comes with a generous amounts of meat, and the noodles are cooked well. However, I think the broth could be more flavorful, especially compared to my grandma's pho and other restaurants in the greater Houston area. Overall, I think this place is pretty average. The place is a relatively new restaurant in the area. Don't be fooled by the look outside, its clean and pretty inside. We wanted the Pho but it came only with beef or chicken broth, so we settled for vegetarian fried noodles, tofu spring roll and Vietnamese coffee. The coffee reads as Iced Milk Coffee on the menu and it definitely kept the yummy strong coffee reputation up. The noodles was good but personally I put a lottt of the chilli oil that was sitting on the table. There was only one guy who doubled up as the server, the cashier and waiter there, he was quite nice and I don't know how he kept up his friendly demeanor juggling all the roles. Last straw for me. I ordered fish sauce chicken wings, 2 pho tai and it's terrible. Whoever pack our food is doing a very shitty job, we only live .4 miles away. The sauce from the chicken is all over the bag, the packer place the styrofoam container sideway so all the sauce spills all over the bag and into the pho. Ok fine I will let it slide. You can choose up to 4 different types of beef so I had beef pho with brisket, round eye steak, tripe and tendons. The pho was good compared to the other pho I've had in the Pearland area. I was pleased that they provided hoisin sauce, sriracha, bean sprouts, basil and all of the other accompaniments that one anticipates receiving when eating pho. I did wish I had a little more hoisin sauce and basil. There was also a short straight black hair that I found in my food. It happens and isn't some thing that would necessarily keep me from returning but it did create a hard stop for me finishing my meal. read more

I ordered the small beef brisket pho. The service took longer than usual and I noticed the broth wasn't as good as before. I also had shrimp spring roll and something in the flavor was missing from it. Maybe it was no cilantro. The noodle in spring roll was warm, so they must of just made it. There were two young ladies working, but we were practically ignored the whole time. The waitress got one order wrong & then insisted that we didn't remember what we ordered. Drinks & food were dropped off and then no one ever came back to check on anything. Drinks were never refilled. Food was just OK, nothing special. Stir fried noodles were almost dry, no sauce. We sat waiting for a bill that never came, then finally went up to the counter and asked to pay. Also, this place could be much cleaner. Condiments on tables were covered in sticky fingerprints, and the front door and windows haven't been washed in ages. The pho broth was flavorful and I could tell the restaurant didn't cut corners and actually cooked the broth with bones not just msg. Tried out the new Pho Vi-Vi today and I'm happy to say it was amazing! This location has suffered with many failing places but im sure this one is here to stay.
