    White Grape Punch
    Justin T.

I was in the area doing a little shopping and was craving something cold to combat the Texas heat. This area does not have a shortage of boba spots so I went with the tried and true Kung Fu. The location is in a busy strip center. The establishment itself was empty when I walked in. Customer service was ok. The employee was just there to do her job, nothing extra. I went with the White Grape Punch as it is and added lychee gel. I was in and out and in my car in no time. I was on the road when I took my first sip and something about it was very off putting. The drink was pretty bitter. I'm guessing the grapes just weren't sweet and the skin of the grapes definitely did not help. Maybe straining the fruit might've helped. I took this drink as a loss but still drank it as it wasn't completely horrible. I won't write this place off, but I'll check out the other spots around here first before I come back.

    Whoa. I know kung fu.

I wanted to take off my pants, but I didn't, because then it would've been Hung Fu Tea. And if I'm with Barbie (when am I not), then Sprung Fu Tea. What to get: Lemon Black Tea, Any other fruit tea with black tea, Hot Milk Teas. Anything else: Things change. People change. Hairstyles change. Interest rates fluctuate. This location is down in Webster, so if Khalid asks, you can tell him that. Oh what tangled Websters we weave. I saw a bee in here. Luckily I didn't get Stung Fu Tea. Kung Fu Tea decided to open up here in the South-East suburbs of the mega city that is Houston and we are so glad they did! A couple of the employees are not as ridiculously friendly as the others but overall this is an excellent location and they make good lemon black tea and have pretty good tapioca as well - both times we've been in here. We will definitely be in here several more times to see how things are going. Probably 4 stars after the first visit, but 5 after the next couple of tries. I didn't smell any cow poop while in here. Otherwise it'd be Dung Fu Tea. We heard from the Kung Fu tea down in San Antonio that they have the same ownership group as the one in Katy (but possibly not anymore) and as the San Antonio one (by La Cantera) - which we love - which is pretty awesome. I hope that's true. I don't like Red Bean, but I'm more ambivalent towards Mungbean Fu Tea. Cha Boba is still King of Bubble Tea in the SE Burbs... and HOU in general... and TX overall... and the whole USA... but to have a great KFT down Webster way just makes us go this way twice as often. I didn't need major surgery while in here. If I had, it might've been Collapsed Lung Fu Tea. I wonder if my replacement lung could be made of tapioca.

one of the only places around with red bean as a sinker. 5 stars based on that alone!

I went via drive thru during the morning shift prior to an appointment across town (an hour drive)…read more Unfortunately, after departure on the highway I bit in to a cold sandwich. I tried to make the best of it by eating around the sandwich on the outer corners thinking it would be ok, but it wasn't. I tried taking a bite removing the meat, but the egg was just as cold. Ultimately, I had to make the best of it and just eat the bread to have something in my system being that I had an hour drive. This was roughly at 9:45 am. I attempted to contact the store via phone, but they don't have phones in store and instead you're routed to their website. Hours later, at 5pm I thought maybe the store would consider a refund. To my surprise the manager Sam refused after I shared my story due to a lack of receipt, not knowing how long I had the left overs, and that it was a half eaten sandwich. I advised that I didn't get a receipt, and that I still had the pending charge on my card. That wasn't sufficient, understandable. I asked if their rewards system would show my recent purchase and the barista said yes, but still her manager said they couldn't do anything for me. I know it appears it's half eaten in the photo, but you can see where I took my initial bite and the spit out the second. Notice the patty is still mostly there. I understand the challenges they must face with customers falsifying returns, but they had the software to prove my purchase and still declined. Something so simple they could have obliged and chose not to.
