I was pleasantly surprised when the cashier offered me 2 samples when I asked about a certain flavor, I ended up getting the milk tea with tapioca. My fiancee got the banana peach smoothie with egg pudding. I tries his and the smoothie part was good but I wouldn't recommend the egg pudding... Big Taro fan! Got my usual taro cream smoothie with tapioca. Little Taro flavor, extremely icey consistency. Just not smooth. Ended up chunking it and going back to my usual tea house next to H-E-B. The owner and staff were so nice, they explained everything to me even let me try jelly, pudding, popping boba, milk tea, Thai tea, and Thai coffee. I really appreciated the kindness and pride they all portrayed for their product. The store itself was very clean and beautifully decorated. Very stingy. They put too much ice and not enough drink so i always ask easy ice or no ice. In the two years i have been going here, they have steadily lessened the amount of drink. Came here with a friend after having Pho and it hit the spot! The staff immediately offered us samples of the green milk tea, the regular milk tea, and the Thai milk tea as we perused the menu (which isn't overwhelming, and has just the right amount of options). I got the honeydew milk tea with mixed fruit jelly, and my friend got passion fruit tea with tapioca; both he and I agreed they were legit! I'm sometimes apprehensive with milk teas, as some can be gritty with the powder, but theirs was smooth and silky! I know most boba places have a minimum credit card charge, but they didn't even bother to tell me and I didn't see a sign when I was ordering. My favorite tea shop in town. It's a cute little shop with very friendly and informative staff, not to mention DELICIOUS drinks. My favorites are the Thai milk tea and jasmine milk tea. The tapioca is nice and soft with just enough chew, and the drinks are a satisfying size. This place had good reviews and looked nice in pictures. Once I got there I was disappointed to find out they have their milk teas and Thai teas pre-made sitting in a cooler. Every other tea place I've been too they make and mix the teas fresh. The tapioca also had zero flavor. Won't return again. I went in today to order a bubble cream tea. I was told my total was $4.33. When I handed her my card she said there was a "50 cent charge for orders less than $10". I didn't understand her so she repeated that & pointed to a handwritten sign on the counter. Is this legal? I have never experienced this before. This place is DISAPPOINTING. I read the reviews and thought this place would be good. I WAS SO WRONG! We ordered boba milk tea taro (which is suppose to be bright purple but was instead brown). The boba tea was so discussing that I couldn't bare to drink it. We also order an avocado smoothie. It tasted as if an avocado was mashed and put in a cup. The service was awful as the guy made both or drinks wrong and had to remake them. We were the only people in the store, therefore, they shouldn't of been busy or distracted. I've been to many bubble tea places all over Houston, and this one has quickly become my new favorite. The customer service is great, unlike some in Bellaire, and the drinks are the best I've ever had. I've had the 5 fruit and jelly assortment drink and the taro with tapioca so far. I always had to ask for half sugar for taro drinks at Teahouse and Sharetea because they make it insanely sweet, but this place made it just right. And they actually use real taro and fruit! The two staff members present welcomed us very generously, and gave us each a sample of their signature milk tea and thai tea. Strangely, I couldn't tell a difference between the two (I swear I usually can!). We ended up ordering a honeydew milk tea (milk tea with honeydew powder) and mango black tea (black tea with mango syrup). Additional toppings/sinkers(?) were displayed right next to the register where you order, so you can easily see what options are available. Tasty, but nothing special, and too much milk/cream for me. It was also kind of off-putting that they used the term "milk tea *infused* with [flavor of choice]," when in my case, it was just flavor powder--me just being a vocab-nazi, I guess. The guest area is very clean and sparkling white. Would I return again? I could or could not. They do offer a punch card, where after 10 drinks, you get one free. read more

Also I was annoyed because I ordered bubbles for my drink, and they only told me they ran out of boba straws AFTER they made my drink. So they then gave me a spoon to eat my boba while sipping on my tea, without offering to remake my drink or anything. Great place with good service. Their milk tea, Thai tea, and smoothies are all good. They probably have the freshest tapioca in the area (sometimes the tapioca can be chewy if not done right). They have good music and the place is clean. I went with a friend once and she accidentally knocked over her drink and the staff provided us with a replacement drink free of charge. I like this place better than Teahouse just down the street, even though Teahouse has a wider selection. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because they do put a lot of ice in their drinks. read more
