    MISO BROTH TPUMPS
    Soleil L.

Hidden gem alert in Upland!! My husband and I tried hot pot for the very first time, and let me tell you... we were completely confused at first! Thankfully, the staff was beyond incredible. To make our first visit even more special, they surprised us with complimentary appetizer samples and shaved ice! (Both were delicious) Such a thoughtful touch that made us feel so welcomed. We ordered the miso broth with beef, dumplings, and tons of fresh veggies, plus a green tea to go with it and WOW! Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and so comforting. I'm already planning my next visit because I have to try the spicy broth! As if the amazing food wasn't enough, they even had the World Cup playing, which made the atmosphere even more fun! From the welcoming vibes to the outstanding staff and amazing food, everything was a perfect 10/10. If you haven't checked this place out yet, do yourself a favor and go! This is truly one of Upland's hidden gems, and we'll definitely be back again and again! I wish I could give more stars!

Wow, the best service I had in a while! The service was great from start to finish! Sweet fires had been on my list to try so for one of our date night we decided to come here! You pay and pick before you sit down. Sweet Fire's has a hot pot and drink combo! You pick your soup base, toppings, protein, and lastly a drink. I picked the macadamia milk tea and it was absolutely delicious. The pot is smaller than other pot I have been to but still packed with flavors. They give you a small bowl of rice but I believe you can ask for more. I would add noodles or additional meats for a bigger meal but the portion was just right for me. The only thing I didn't like was that the pot didn't stay hot the whole time and wish the veggies were cooked longer. I like my veggies not as hard. They did give us samples of their appetizers and shaved ice which were super yummy. Overall, for the price, you can't beat this hot pot and drink combo! Come check them out!

Unexpectedly delicious. For $12.99 with a free tea or $3 to upgrade your tea! You get 1 free dumpling in your soup but you can add more (unless you choose the dumplings topping option). Service was great, they explained how to order and came around to offer more rice. Love that it is local and very affordable for the high schoolers as well.

Inside the bao bun. Not sure but I think it was vegetables inside. Soft and fluffy with a nice crunchy bottom.

Customer Service is top tier! Saja and the other lady were very accommodating, patient, and kind. The place is cute, there's a TV on the wall running loops of food and customer photos. Plenty of seating, Place your order at the register and then wait to be seated. Upon being shown to my table, they serve appetizers consisting of a vegetable Bao Bun and a Chicken Dumpling with sesame and sweet chili sauce for dipping. The dumpling had a good crunch on the bottom but the top portion of the dumpling wrapper was really hard and waxy/plastic tasting. Hard to explain, but basically they tasted like they were probably fried hours ago and kept under a heat lamp. Score: 6/10 The bun was delicious. Not sure if it was vegetables inside, but nothing noticeable. The bun was so soft and fluffy, I really liked it. Score: 8/10 On the table they provide you with 3 sauces for dipping your hotpot ingredients into--which included a sour garlic sauce, a garlic chili sauce, and a soy vinegar sauce. Wish they offered green onions, but nevertheless, mixing all three together turned out to be a very flavorful sauce. I ordered the Mala and Satay combination broth with chicken and cabbage dumplings and choice of glass noodles. My protein was beef. My hotpot was so delicious. The combo of mala and satay broths were fire and I would order it again except with less mala broth and more satay broth, and also probably add veggies. Beware that mala broth is very spicy. I was picking out pieces of red chili for days cuz I didn't want to take the chance on biting down on one of them. The beef was superb. It was sliced thinly and it just melted in my mouth. Score: 9/10 I really enjoyed the glass noodles in the soup. I'm used to ramen noodles and this was a nice change. The texture of the noodles were perfectly chewy. Since I had so much broth leftover I ordered more glass noodles to go and they were also so nice to give me a full container of satay broth on the house to take home, so that I could try to cool down the spiciness a little. For my drink I chose the caramel cinnamon milk tea. The milk teas are made with nondairy creamer which was perfect for my lactose intolerant self. It was very tasty and perfectly sweet. A little honey boba added would have set it over the top. Score: 7.5/10 What I really like about this hotpot spot is that everything is customizable from the soup broth, the noodles, the meats and veggies. They have a Vegetable Hotpot for the vegetarians. What I love most is that I can get a small app, a choice of drink, and an entree all for about $15-$16 dollars.

This was an INCREDIBLE meal! Massive portions, delicious hotpot, and so many options. From vegetarian, pescatarian, or beef broths (with so many flavor profiles to choose from) to all of the add-ins, we were so blown away by this local gem. And, the prices were so reasonable. Diem made great recommendations and treated us to some wonderful appetizers and we cannot wait to be back!!

if you've never had hot pot this is the place to go. 100 out of 100 customer service i was sweating like crazy out of pure bliss and joy. the ambiance at the entrance was very simple and the presentation was incredible.

This is an extension of Tpumps but they specialize in hot pot. Similar to the concept of boiling point, they offer a variety of soup bases like miso, satay, etc. you can also upgrade your drinks with a Tpumps drink as well. The pots come with a side of rice. The service is always so friendly here. They often bring out some complementary appetizers as well for you to try. You pick your food at the front and pay then get seated and the food comes out pretty quick. I personally always go for the satay beef option. It's flavorful and comes with an assortment of vegetables, meatballs, fish cakes, beef, etc.

This was my first time coming here and my experience was amazing! The restaurant is so clean and it is gorgeous. The staff are amazing and super attentive as well as knowledgeable on their menu items. Shout out to Saja! I personally cannot eat pork so whenever I try a new soup spot I always ask what kind of broth they use, but the staff assured me that their broths are either beef or vegetarian. While they do have pork products it is only added to the soups upon request. I got the masala and Szechuan soup with 8 dumplings (chicken and veggie) + udon noodles and it was divine! I also got a peach coconut milk tea which was lovely. This place is a 10/10 so if you're in the Upland area or visiting and want some good soup please make your way down! Edit: I was also able to try their turnip dumplings and shaved ice. Sadly the turnip dumplings were devoured before I could think of taking a photo but they were super crispy and flavorful I will be coming back here again!

One of the best place fo have lunch at! The hotpot and service at Sweet Fires is in its name - Fire !!!! Diem was super professional and she knows how to tend to people's needs. The other staffs were also always asking if they can do anything for you (free refill on rice btw). Pretty spacious and chill! Board games after food with friends is also fun!

We love Sweet Fires! This was our second time here. It is an order and pay at the counter first and then be seated to receive your food setup. It is a great deal as it includes a tea as well. Everything was delicious and I ended up taking half to go as it was so much food!

First time here and it was amazing. We tried the Coconut milk broth with beef dumplings and noodles, satay with sweet fire and beef and miso with dumplings, noodles and turkey sausage and they all were amazing. The food came out so fast and perfect. The entire staff was the so friendly and nice. The whole experience was great. The place was clean and quiet. We will definitely be returning and trying more.

Light Sukiyaki Broth + Veggie + Beef. Unlimited rice on the side and a free boba drink.
    Dara T.

Had a friend recommend this and will be back. No gatekeeping here. Food: I got the Light Sukiyaki Broth + Veggie + Beef and split it with someone. They have unlimited rice on the side, so it was more than enough for us. They also has this peanut dipping sauce that was just amazing. A must try. Drink: There's a selection of free boba from nextdoor (Tpumps) for your choosing. Upgrade your drink to more custom flavors for $3. It's HUGE. Service: We were greeted by Diem and helped by Lorenzo. They were very helpful and made us feel welcome. Excellent service. They even gave us samples (bao dumpling, bun, shaved ice w/ condensed milk) and an extra drink on the house. For around $15 for 2, this was such a good option. Even if you solo it, it's still a lot at an affordable price.

Food was delicious, affordable, and a generous size. Our waiter was so nice and checked on us often.

It's really the most delicious spicy hot pot I'm eating in Los Angeles so far. It has two kinds of soup base: Beef Bone soup and Sweetie Tomato Soup. I like beef bone soup the most. There are five kinds of spiciness to choose from. My favorite is Crazy. I also occasionally eat Sweetie Tomato Soup. It's sweet and sour. I like it very much! I heard that the beef bone soup is really made of beef bones. 12.99/pound is the cheapest among these spicy hot pots! If you pay more than 20 before the tax, you will get a bowl of rice if you need. The rice is really delicious It tastes much better than my own steamed rice at home. The fried skewers are all in the refrigerator. You need to take them to the clerk by yourself. That chicken skewer and beef skewer are super delicious! That fried sweet potato strip is also delicious. Be sure to eat it while it's hot. It's super bad when it's cold. The ingredients are also very complete. His chili oil is very fragrant and spicy, and there is also spicy millet. I like I'm ecstatic to eat spicy food The waitress is very polite and enthusiastic. She is super kind and responds to my request. She also took the initiative to add paper towels for me and refilled water. The only drawback is that it only have this store, which is a little far from my home. When will the boss open a chain store?

The beef quality was the only hit or miss; when we came all that was available was really really fatty pieces of beef slices which isn't ideal.
