Sweet Fires - Hot Pot Near Me - Upland, California

This place is definitely worth it! The soups are absolutely delicious, and they offer a variety of broths that can please every palate -- from sweet to spicy. I loved that you can even combine broths if you can't decide on just one. You also get to customize your bowl with different noodle options and choose your protein, like beef, tofu, dumplings, or veggies. Your soup also comes with a milk tea from their amazing selection -- I tried the lavender marshmallow, and it was so good! For dessert, we had the shaved ice, which came with the cutest lavender-flavored teddy bear on top. The staff were very polite and helpful, and since it was my birthday, they went out of their way to make it extra special for me and my family. They were wonderful. You definitely need to try this place for yourself! read more

Came here a couple times in the past and the workers and manager is always so kind. Came around 8pm to get the shaved ice dessert. Presentation and flavor was great. Unfortunately, as I had the dessert I noticed an odd hard texture and started spitting out some of the hard plastic. I tried to stay positive and composed because I just possibly swallowed bits of plastic. The whole staff apologized and refunded for the dessert and replace it with a new one. I appreciate them addressing the situation, but I am still sad by this experience and cried when I got home because I'm usually cautious when I eat food and this kinda scared me. Overall, I do hope this shop gets on top of double checking and cleaning their equipment for the sake of future customers. Only wishing them the best. read more

Service was good. Price was EXTREMELY CHEAP! Thank you for making this affordable and a nice experience. I would definitely come back without thinking twice! Honey green milk tea wasn't too sweet but honey sweet. Buns with condensed milk was a good teaser. Ponzu and soy garlic sauce was tasty. Then a little shaved ice teaser in the end?!?! Must Try Hotpot! It's hotpot with free boba! My dreams!!! Cozy cold place but don't worry, the hotpot makes the place warmer and your body warmer when you start eating. Bring your friends and family to support this place so it can actually last! read more

The service is good. The portion and fillings are good too. Perfect spot for rainy day

So delicious and affordable, I honestly cannot recommend Sweet Fires enough! They offer dine in and to-go and I've done both. My first time here soup sounded so good. The woman in the front helping me went through with detail with every customer explaining the different broths and options. I opted to get the Sukiyaki and made it half sweet which wow what a difference. My husband was feeling some kind of ballsy and got the Mala I believe it was which was spicy. I don't know how he did it...I had a drop of it touch my lips and they were burning all night. When we dined in the first time here and there's plenty of seating and little rubix cubes and games on the counter. They serve you a complimentary little steamed bun with condensed milk which were so soft and tasty. Our soups came out and you also get a free Tpumps milk tea drink with your order which is an amazing deal! I got the rose and my husband got the coconut. I've noticed the past couple times I've gone the drinks were different, so I think it depends on availability. They are premade, but taste really good. The soup portions are so huge, honestly we always have leftover. They also do shaved ice which I haven't ordered yet, but was kindly given a sample of and loved it! If you're looking for great tasting, great service and affordable soups and milk tea look no further! read more

Service was amazing! The owners and other workers were really attentive. They consistently checked up on my table and asked how we were doing. If you're new, there will be someone to explain their whole menu and broths. The sukiyaki comes with normal and lite sweetness, I would opt for the lite sweetness cause the broth was a lot of the sweet side. This pot comes with udon while the others come with vermicelli. Miso was like a large miso soup. It does get a bit salty as you keep eating, but the flavors were all there. I think Satay might be my favorite. It tasted more similar to Boiling Points Beef Pot. Lots of toppings and comes with a bowl of rice! The drinks have a preset sweetness. I personally think the drinks are on the sweeter side, so if you have two people getting the same drinks, maybe have one person get unsweetened and the other sweetened The upgraded drink was huge and the boba had a nice chewy texture! For this price and the amount of food you get, I would definitely recommend this place. read more

What a fun twist on hotpot. I loved that each person gets their own pot and that it comes cooked and ready to eat. I had the coconut curry with beef, dumplings and noodles. It was creamy and delicious. My husband had the satay with beef and the sweet fire mix. He was very happy with his choice but said he would try a different base next time. The best part of the whole dinner was the service! Every employee was friendly and ready to help. They gave us dumplings and buns as an appetizer and little shaved ice as a complimentary dessert. The restaurant was comfortable and very clean. I can't wait to go back! read more

Sweetfire Hot Pot in Upland was honestly such a great experience from start to finish. The service was hands-down the best part--super friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring without hovering. They even comped us an appetizer and dessert, which was completely unexpected and really appreciated. The broths and soups were amazing--rich, flavorful, and comforting, and the portion sizes were generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. On top of that, they offer free unlimited rice and sauces, which just makes the whole hot pot experience even better and lets you customize everything exactly how you want. The ambience was clean, cozy, and welcoming, making it a place you actually want to sit and enjoy your meal instead of feeling rushed. You can tell they really care about both the food and the customer experience. Great food, incredible service, thoughtful extras, and a warm atmosphere. Sweetfire Hot Pot easily earns five stars, and I'll absolutely be coming back. read more

One of my favorite places in the area. Very affordable prices, excellent customer service. Complimentary dumplings while waiting for food. Custom order your hot pot, you can mix the soups! My fav is the kimchi and satay , with satay toppings, add ramen noodles and chicken and veg dumpling. Best drink is the upgraded mango, peach, passion with non caffeinated tea , add boba. I absolutely love this place! The staff are exceptional at what they do and always go above and beyond to ensure every customer has a great experience. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes me feel right at home every time I visit. I've even seen them bring out party hats and decorations to celebrate a customer's birthday, which really shows how much they care. I come here at least once a week for the curry. It's packed with flavor and reminds me of home. Be sure to try the sauces available at the table--they're delicious, especially on the dumplings. I've also tried the shaved ice, which is definitely on the sweeter side but still incredibly tasty. Every order comes with Tpumps, and who doesn't love that? The prices are very reasonable, especially for a warm, satisfying meal that still offers good nutritional value. They have a wide variety of toppings to choose from, with the Sweet Fires being my personal favorite. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. They have games available if you want to hang out with friends after your meal, and K-pop music videos are usually playing on the screens, which adds to the experience. The service is also impressively fast, so if you're hungry and looking for a great meal, I highly recommend stopping by. read more

It was my first time here. The menu was easy to navigate and the staff was helpful with any questions we had and suggestions. Our food arrived promptly. The broth was great and our bowls filled with noodles and dumplings. When you pick a soup base you can mix them as well which we did and we're not disappointed! When they say the mala is hot they're not lying. Mixed with another broth is best if you're first trying it! Good size portions and the option to add more veggies or meat. The staff is very attentive and friendly! The ambience was clean and upbeat. Will definitely be coming back and bringing friends. I had the Sukiyaki and Mala combination hot pot with beef and it was so flavorful it was spicy but just enough and the numbing spice was interesting (first time having it and not mad at it ! ) The service and staff is a 10 and the k pop tunes on T.V set off the Ambiance . The you cant beat the price point either here 30 bucks for 2 people that comes with your choice of a Tea and a complimentary Turnip Bunn . I cant wait to come back!! read more

Sweet Fires - Sukiyaki ×Mala combination its a good spicy level if you can handle some heat and very flavor - Hot Pot Near Me - Upland, California

Food was ok, nothing special, I wouldn't recommend this place if you want to eat decent hotpot.people were very nice tho.

I have been craving for shaved ice and notice that Tpumps would have their fliers in there. I tried the brown sugar shaved ice and it was a bit too sweet for my liking. It came with honey boba, brown sugar jelly, green tea jelly, and ice cream. It came with a complimentary steamed bun with a side of condensed milk for dipping. Even though this shaved ice wasn't for me, I am still planning to go back to try the hot pot and a different shaved ice. The interior is very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and I'm looking forward to coming by again. Parking is in a shared plaza so there is usually plenty of spaces. They have dine in or take out. The atmosphere is great for spending time with family and/or friends. read more

My partner and I got the hot pot bowls, and we were very satisfied with a flavor and quantity of the bowls. I got the satay and he got the mala. both bowls came with choice of meat, either beef, pork or lamb and each bowl came with glass noodles, vegetables, fish cake, fish balls, and imitation crab. Flavor was full and rich. Service was amazing. Everyone from the beginning to end was very sweet and very helpful. They continuously came to our table to ask us how the food was and was very generous when we asked for items. even the chef came out to ask how the food tasted, which was really nice. We even got complementary dessert, which were the red bean baos and the samples of the shaved ice, which was delicious. Inside is very clean and there's apple space and also feels very intimate. If we weren't coming from so far, I would definitely come back. We also enjoyed the fact that we were able to get a T pumps with our meal and there's a T pumps right next-door if you just wanted to get Boba. read more

What a unique experience--this place offers T-pumps, hot pot & shaved ice. Our sukiyaki pot was way too sweet and the kimichi&satay combo was too oily. I'd recommend going with the generic can't go wrong options like miso or spicy miso. This place is great to eat at on a budget, as it comes with a pre-ordered T-pump (+$3 for upgrade and adjustments), and plenty of food for one person. Staff were exceptionally courteous and kind. read more

We came here because we had a coupon from TPumps in Pasadena! We were able to claim our free hot pot! And the service was amazing! We even got a free upgrade for our TPumps drink! I got the Mala, which has Szechuan peppers, it wasn't overwhelmingly spicy. It was spicy but the broth had so much flavor! They even refill your rice if needed! They had steamed bao red bean buns with condensed milk and even a waffle custard filled bread. We were continuously checked up on, even the chef came out to ask how our meal was! It was delicious! The ambiance inside is Asian inspired, very clean and spacious with ample amount of tables and seating. Parking can be a hassle since it's near the 24 hour fitness gym, but we were able to find some in the lot nearby. read more

Such a great hotspot! The food is amazing and affordable, which is hard to find these days. They even surprised us with free appetizers -- the turnip buns -- and WOW, they were so good. The broth in our dishes was hearty, rich, and full of flavor... exactly what you want on a cozy night out. The service was truly excellent. Diem took care of us the entire time and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was warm, attentive, and such an amazing host -- her energy really added to our experience. I tried the kimchi and miso broth mix and omg it was perfect. The restaurant itself is cute, clean, and welcoming. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend Sweet Fire to anyone looking for great food, great service, and a relaxed place to enjoy a meal. Awesome hot pot place! We came for dinner around 8 PM and the staff made us feel welcomed and took our order. You pay for your food up front before getting seated. It's really good value as the price includes a tpumps boba with your hot pot. There is plenty of seating in the restaurant. They serve sweets as free appetizers, which I thought was odd. The food took around 30 minutes to get to the table. Taste was spot on. Lots of flavor. The majority of the hotpot was fish cake/fish balls. I would recommend ordering more meat as you go. The double portions wasn't enough for us. You can always ask for more rice too without charge. Overall, a great experience. Definitely coming back again. read more

This was our first time here and everything was great! While it may seem like just another hot pot spot, the quality and service sets it apart from others. It's a shame we didn't hear about place sooner. Diem and Lorenza provided exceptional service, ensuring we were well informed of their menu and combos, as well as being attentive throughout our experience. The complimentary bao buns were the best I've had with a unique flavor and nice crunch to it. The sauces that came with it were also mouth watering. The hot pot itself was very tasty and filling (I got the tomato broth with pork dumplings and udon noodle). The ambience itself was clean and decorative, and they even have a place with various games such as cards, and other toys for entertainment. Sweet Fires - Delicious. My wife and I loved this place. We took our baby and they have awesome utensils for the kids. Great service. - Hot Pot Near Me - Upland, California

Stopped by on Sunday, 03/30/25 for the very first time during lunch with parents. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a gentleman. You first place your order up front before being seated. Ordered the following: - 1 veggie hot pot with beef = $12.99 / meal comes with boba too - 2 satay hot pot with beef = $25.98 / meal comes with boba too SUBTOTAL = $39.97 TAX = $3.02 OVERALL TOTAL = $41.99 We were also given some small appetizers which consisted of wasabi snacks, peanuts, kimchi, shrimp chips, and mac & cheese. AFFORABILITY!!! The hot pot is good for one person and also includes a boba drink! For the boba drink, you could either get the black or green tea and choose one topping. You can also choose sweet vs unsweet. When I initially asked for 25% sweet, the gentleman mentioned that they only offered 100% or 0% sweet, but he will accommodate/customize it for us (so nice!). I would recommend getting the satay hot pot instead of the veggie hot pot. I was under the impression that the 'veggie' is just the soup base and would get fish balls & imitation crab (I didn't). Towards the end we were given a small sample of their shaved ice (cherry), which was yummy! Overall I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back, especially to try out the matcha shaved ice! read more

Clean, new hotpot with super reasonable prices! Since it was our first time here, the server explained everything really well. The kind, thorough service and great price is what will make me come back whenever I'm in the area. It's similar to Boiling Point where you pick your soup base and they provide you with a single-serving mini hotpot nestled on top of a burner--though our pots didn't contain any fuel underneath to keep the soup hot. I chose sukiyaki with lamb and was disappointed at first to only receive about 4 thinly sliced pieces of lamb, but considering the price and how full I felt after the meal, I'm not complaining anymore! Plus you get kimchi, potato salad, & inari for appetizers, a bowl of rice on the side, and a simple Tpumps drink. You really can't beat the value that you get from this place. The sukiyaki was very sweet and concentrated, and I'm actually glad that there wasn't a burner for my hotpot because the evaporation would've made the flavor even more intense. Plus, I don't like my soups to be burn-your-tongue hot, so that was another plus for me. The only criticism I have is that the rice was too mushy, as if it were cooked with too much water. read more

Good amount of personal hotpot options here! I ordered the veggie hotpot, which had an amazing tomato soup flavor base. I love that each hotpot comes with a tea, I ordered the black milk tea which was yummy and they also gave some complimentary shaved ice after. You order first then get seated. The only downside I'd say is that they're not super generous with the toppings. I only received two slices of hard boiled egg instead of a full hard boiled egg, there were no tomato or carrots in the hotpot even though that's what was shown in the photo, and the meat in my partners hotpot also was just two slices. The flavor profile was good but I think if they are able to add more toppings it would make it great! read more
