YOI offers both kbbq and hot pot, but since it was a hot day we stuck to kbbq. After placing our orders on the iPad, we went over to the buffet bar and WOWWW there were so many options!! I loved the Japanese beef potato curry, lumpia, chow mein, steamed dumplings, and more!! The cold food section had a random mix of items that were equally tasty: kimchi, cucumber salad, pickled daikon. We had to remind ourselves not to eat as much or else we'd have no room for the meat. The meat was much higher quality than I'd expect! Short rib, beef tongue and the pork jowl were our favorites. There was a sauce bar (that I think is mainly for hotpot), but we made up our dipping sauces for kbbq. Think Chinese hot pot fusion with KBBQ Drinks were self serve. Completely new soda machines so I trusted that these were super clean. Also a fridge stocked with passionfruit tea, honey yuzu, and other drinks. Free ice cream at the end of the meal. Servers were attentive and kept checking in on us to replace the grill plates and clear the plates. The space is massive and there are several projectors showing sports games. The rooms in the back have karaoke! I'm not sure if there's a time limit to the AYCE but my family and I were there for awhile. We were stuffed when we left. I bookmarked this place from all the HYPE I saw on social media from Influencers and food creators they must of gotten paid to EAT .., because this place was so basic and less than just MID it was hype... They have 3 Menu choices for kbbq & you can add shabu for $5 . Price range for menu ranges from $29-49. Honestly , their meat selection and quality of meat didn't reflect the price at all. Meet quality was definitely more poor than I've ever had ... the shabu items are in the fridge and right next to that was the veggies and noodles to kbbq proteins and then fruit / salad and ban chan sides which were poor quality ... their steamed egg was not got it was more in the rolom temperature and the jap chae was alright , sides the Kim chi was more on the store bought and sour not fresh and the seaweed was bulk supply the cucumbers tasted soggy , shrimp tempura bland and for the kbbq they only had rice paper no radish or you can grab the lettuce in the shabu area fridge . The steamed dumplings were dry af at room temperature too ..next to that was soup and sauce bar and hot foods etc plus ice cream machine. Came here on the last day of their soft opening promo. We waited until line for about 30 minutes before being seated. We were seated near the self serve food area. I enjoyed the concept of self serve. You can get up whenever you want to get your food. They have a soda fountain, speciality drinks, and ice cream machine in one area. And in a long isle / section you have the sauces,sides, meats, and seafood. Then next to the seafood is a refrigerator of veggies for hot pot (which was actually unavailable when we went). They have a great variety of items, and also if you decide to get a higher tier there are specialty meats and seafood you can add to your order by ordering on the iPad given. I noticed the workers in the kitchen would stock and clean the bar area where the food is. My only negative is the rice paper isn't good. Its hard to get because it sticks to eat other. And when you try to eat it with your meat, it's very tough and chewy and some it it gets dry. Although this place is self serve, we received great service. Employees came by and cleared our table of dirty dishes and for grill changes. As well as check up on us. The lady who rang us up didn't bother to check if we got the promo discount and ended up charging full price on the meal. Luckily I notified her and we were about to get a refund of our discount. Me and my husband decided to come to this new spot on a Saturday night. We had to wait about 30 minutes to get seated. Wasn't that bad. They did say that the wait for the hot pot was an hour and a half so we all decided to do the ayce KBBQ. We love that the drinks are included and their self serve. Also the appetizers as well. Original price was $39.99. Included ribeye, angus tenderloin, plus a few other cuts of beef. The bulgogi squid included in combo A was tasty! Don't really touch the hot food bar. This place has been popping up on my feed for a while, so I figured it was finally time to check it out. We came here on a Saturday night, and surprisingly it wasn't busy. The restaurant was clean, had plenty of big TVs, and we were greeted as soon as we walked in. They even have complimentary agua de jamaica and horchata available while you wait, which was a nice touch. My friends and I were seated right away and decided to go with Menu B and add the hot pot. Our server, Aydan, was awesome. He was friendly, knowledgeable, helped us navigate the tablet ordering system, and stayed attentive throughout our entire meal. One thing I really liked was that the lamb, short ribs and pork belly (included with Menu A) are available at the self-serve bar. Both were delicious, but the short ribs were the standout--they were so tender and fatty that they practically melted in your mouth. I ordered the brisket from Menu B for my hot pot, and it was the perfect choice. The bar also had fried egg noodles, Wagyu fried rice, and shrimp tempura, and everything we tried was excellent. The sauce bar had just about every condiment you could think of, making it easy to customize the perfect dipping sauce. Honestly, there was so much going on--in the best way. Between grilling meat, cooking hot pot, hanging out with friends, and teaching them how to cook hot pot for the first time, we completely lost track of time. We definitely stayed longer than most tables would, but not once did anyone make us feel rushed or ask us to leave. I really appreciated that hospitality. Aydan was also patient in answering all of my friends' questions, which helped make their first Korean BBQ and hot pot experience a great one. Considering the price, quality of the food, excellent service, and welcoming atmosphere, this might be one of the best Korean BBQ and hot pot spots in the Inland Empire. The promotion sounded like a perfect chance to try out Combo C since the first 30 people in line got 50% off - bringing Combo C's normal price of $50 per person down to $25 per person. We got in line and were the numbers 27 and 28! Just barely made it. After the first 30 people, the next 30 in line wouldve been 25% off. Still not a bad deal. Anyways, we wanted to take the opportunity to try the wagyu beef items. My best guess is these were Australian wagyu. Still fantastic quality though. Our favorite was the lamb rack. You get 2 pieces per person and they are thick cuts. The snowflake boneless short ribs were very tender as well, but small pieces. Now the wagyu ribeye. My goodness there was such a huge chuck of fat it was glorious. Cut it to use as grease for the grill. Worked great. Will say that the amount of fat content did make it hard to get a sear on it however. All in all, fantastic 2nd time dining here and will be back for more. Came in to try a new spot near home with my family and was not disappointed ! From the start, the host that greeted us, Lena, was lovely. She was clear and transparent about the available seating for us and found us a good spot at the end of a longer table with another party. Our server Cesar was awesome too ! He checked on us just enough to make sure we were taken care of while giving us plenty of time to enjoy our own company, and was able to assist us with everything we needed. Cross contamination risk is significant in this food environment, raw food (including fish) in a buffet setting where tongs are shared between two dishes. Peanuts falling in sauces and seasonings for those at risk. Also a very strange kids pricing. 42 inches and below eat free. 43 to 54 inches are half off. So two 5 year olds, both weighing 36lbs, one at 44 inches, and another at 40 equals two different prices. Though they are both children. Just a weird thing. We came here for a family dinner with 7 people, including one child. Our child is about 52 inches, so the kids' price was half off. Our total came out to a little over $300, which was around $40 per person and felt like a great value for everything that was included. The service really stood out. The staff checked on our table often, asked if we wanted more meat, cleared empty plates quickly, and made sure everything stayed clean. We never had to wait long for anything. The meat was fresh, and since it's all-you-can-eat, we kept ordering beef, pork, and chicken throughout the meal. If you enjoy meat, this place is definitely worth trying. We also added hot pot and tried the tomato broth, pork bone broth, and mushroom broth. All three were flavorful, especially the tomato broth. The self-serve sauce bar was another highlight. They are still their soft opening phase so I am keeping that in mind as I write this. But for starters I made a reservation on their website earlier in the day, and got seated right away because of this, upon arrival. To avoid long wait times you may want to consider doing this as well. I did not use the restrooms, but overall cleanliness of the restaurant was nice. Modern and comfortable/stylish seats and furniture. Now onto the food- my table opted for menu option B, as well as the hotpot add on. I was impressed with how flavorful and authentic tasting the tom yum broth was. If I recall, there were even kaffir lime leaves in the broth which is a plus! Most hot pot places serve watered down broths, especially when it comes to tom yum- this restaurant did not. I recommend this broth! I hope that in the near future, the restaurant invests in some expansion and upgrades to their cold hot-pot selections and delivery methods for it. The glass door display refrigerator is just not a well thought out method for hot pot veggies/noodles and add ons. The labels kept falling, and tongs were all over the place- some handles even falling completely into the food items. This is not a long term way of self-service. Onto the Korean bbq main event! Meats were of high quality. The boneless short rib bulgogi and rib-eye were very tasty and cooked well on the grill. I feel that they can and definitely should scale back on a few of the fried foods and cold non-traditional food/side items, and add rice paper, thin sliced pickled daikon sliced radish, and other items, perhaps even dongchimi. These items could easily replace the fruit or other items, which take up space in the cold holding "buffet" style line. They also didn't have soybean paste or ponzu in the sauce area. For hot pot, ponzu is great, and every Korean bbq restaurant should have soybean paste. Some improvements to be made, but this restaurant shows promise. I will give it another go in the near future in hopes that some of the recommendations in my review are considered. If you're in the area be sure to give them a try! read more

I've been to a hundred kbbq places and this place wins the worst service award. Absolutely horrible service. In fact it was non existent the entire dinner. Came in at 7pm on a Monday night and the place was not too busy. Told to have a seat and wait. No time given. Hostess was nice and told us they are getting our table ready. We can see many open tables. Hostess never got back to us. Ten minutes later, a waiter walked over and said it would be just a minute till we get seated. Ten minutes goes by and a waitress comes and asked us to follow her to her seat. While walking to her seat we walked past a table that powered to have their flames too high and the meat was catching fire. Waitress stopped to help them. We just stood there. She gets the flames down and runs off to get another grill. Again we were just standing there. Finally someone else came and brought us to our seats. We gat Sat in a tight corner. One side of the table could barely fit two chairs. It was extremely difficult to get in and out of our chairs because there was no space to back the chairs up. Waitress explained the ordering process and buffet locations. She showed us a button on the iPad to call for assistance. She said she would be right back to turn on our grill. That was the last time we ever saw her. We went to get some food from the buffet area and waited 10 minutes for the waitress to come turn on the grill. We hit the Call button and waited another ten minutes. No one ever came. We ended up figuring out the grill and turned it on ourselves. Food was ok. No better or worst than any average kbbq. Veggies for hot pot is kept in a fridge which made it difficult to access. Pre made drinks were in a fridge and neatly labeled. Only problem was there was only a Thai tea and some honey drink left. The other shelves were empty and they never refilled it the whole time we were there. We ended up just getting a Thai tea and used the fountain drinks. Our plates began to stack up after a while and no one ever came around to check in on us to take the plates. Once our grill got all charred we tried to waive someone down but everyone ignored us. We hit the CALL button and after ten minutes no one showed up. Hit it again and same thing happened. After 20 minutes I was finally able to Flagg someone down and asked for a grill change. He disappeared and we didn't see him again. Flagged someone else down and finally the changed our grill and removed some plates. While in the middle of dinner the lights went out for a minute. It was only a minute but come on man. Waited for someone to bring the check but it was futile. We just walked up to the front desk and paid. Please take your business anywhere else. read more

This review is long overdue! We've been here twice now, so I'll be doing two separate reviews. Both visits had great food and service, but I think each one deserves its own shine. I'm so glad this place finally opened! We love Korean BBQ, and having hot pot too just makes it even better. Plus, it's so close to home, which means we'll probably be here more than we need to. We came in two Sundays ago, just a few days after they opened. The restaurant was nice and clean, and the food was really good! We got Tier A with hot pot. We had made a reservation, but didn't realize there wouldn't be an option to reserve for hot pot. Totally understandable. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes, but honestly, it was worth it. One thing I really liked was the buffet-style setup. It was nice not having to wait for sides to come out--we could just grab what we wanted. I also liked that all the Tier A meats were buffet style too, so we could grab exactly what we wanted whenever we wanted. There were more than enough meats and sides to choose from. Shoutout to our server, Jayla! She was awesome. Super friendly, always checking on us, and her service . The only thing I'd love to see is more noodle options for the hot pot. The ramen was good, but I think pho noodles and skinny glass noodles would be a great addition for hot pot once everything is fully up and running. Overall, we had a great experience. This is a newly opened restaurant, and I was really looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing. The only positive thing was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and did their best, so I appreciate their effort. However, the food was a huge letdown. We ordered several different kinds of meat, and every single one was tough and chewy. None of the meat was tender or enjoyable. There were also several management issues. Less than an hour after opening, a staff member started deep cleaning the restroom. The floor was covered with water and soap, making it extremely slippery for a long time. It was very inconvenient and unsafe, especially for children and elderly customers. To make things worse, the iPad used for ordering ran out of battery less than an hour after the restaurant opened. That should have been checked before customers arrived and reflects poor preparation. Good service alone cannot make up for poor food quality and disorganized operations. I hope the restaurant improves, but based on this experience, I won't be coming back. read more
