Still my go-to. Sizzler has excellent lunch specials. I either do the sirloin steak or the burger and I always add the salad bar. Basically, I do salad bar and cheese bread for lunch and I take my meal home (and cheese bread ) for lunch. I'm a big fan of their salad bar (I enjoy their salad more than salad places like Soup Plantation); they have a bigger variety. This was the first time I went back to sizzlers in many many years. We ordered the rib eye, add on salad bar and a salad bar. The salad bar reminded me of soup plantation. There's many many different options. The rib eye was very juicy and tender. The salad bar is typical food. Very easy and fast. I liked some of the soups and hot so much. There was plenty of cold food and a few hot food items like wings, taco bar. I love the cheese bread. You can't go wrong with that. You have a lunch weekday special that gives you a meal with a salad bar for 14.45$ but the u limited salad bar is 19.99$. I asked Armando (manager) if he had any vegetarian options or how they could cater to vegetarians for the 14.45$ deal. He proceeded to tell me there was absolutely nothing he could do. He went to grab someone else (Paulette) who was rude. Looked me up and down and says, "you don't even look like you eat much". I said, "exactly, can you guys just do the 14.45$ deal for me because there's no vegetarian options? And she said no and that I had to pay for the full unlimited salad bar. Based on both the food and the recent reviews, the quality just does not seem like what people used to expect from Sizzler. I came here with my family and we had such great service here. Jocelyn was so great at attentive to us. The salad bar was so delicious. It is my absolute favorite. I also love that they have the corn puffs here at this Sizzler. If you come for dinner, come early around 4pm because it gets busy. We will be returning for sure. Pleasantly surprised by this updated Sizzler in Ontario! We were hesitant to go since our last visit to a different location was a solid 5/10, but this time was a whole different experience. The interior has definitely gotten a facelift--clean, modern, and nothing like the run-down vibe we remembered. It's not your grandpas sizzler anymore! The salad bar was fresh with tons of variety. At $20 on its own, it feels a bit pricey for just lettuce, but with the addition of the taco bar, soup station, and pasta bar, it ended up being a good value overall. Oh- and don't forget the desert/fruit bar. We ordered two combo meals: one with steak and all-you-can-eat shrimp, and the other with steak, Malibu chicken, and shrimp. Add two salad bars and a large beer, and the total came to about $80. Next time, we'll probably skip the second entrée, share a meal, and just add the salad bar--it's more than enough food (especially since most of ours ended up going home to our son). Staff was friendly and service was on point. 10/10--we'll definitely be back sooner rather than later! read more
