Anywho, David, thank you so much for your service! You were great from the start. You were true and honest to everything. You were very welcoming and cheerful. I like how you dominated your area which it seemed like to me, the bar area. Pretty cool to see someone multi task and not break a sweat. Me and my girlfriend definitely agreed that he is in the place he is supposed to be! You are great at it. Also thanks to your manager that would also come by and check on us often and offer small amenities that might have gone unnoticed. The food was absolutely great! We quickly were happy that we landed here which was one of our other options. The new york steak was surprisingly really good. The butter they added definitely gave it a great touch. It was missing a bit of salt but nothing we couldn't fix! Always better to add things yourself to your best comfort , right? My gf got one of the omlette's but instantly regretted not going with a steak as we had pre planned before leaving the house. I also ordered the pancakes platter and ohh mann, soooo good! I saved my pancakes til the end to fully enjoy my steak & eggs. Only little disappointing part was that they didn't have beer on draft, but hey we can't always have it all lol. I've been to Mimi's Cafe a few times now, probably two or three visits, and overall I've had a pretty good experience each time. Came in recently to celebrate a girlfriend's birthday with a quick breakfast, and it was a nice, easy spot for that. The place seemed clean, service was good, and our food came out in a timely manner, which I always appreciate. For what you get, the portions and overall experience are solid. The breakfast was actually pretty delicious. I wouldn't say anything has ever wowed me, but I've also never had a bad experience here, which says a lot. I tried the chilaquiles for the first time and they just weren't my favorite. The sauce didn't really come together for me, but I still ate some of it. I'd probably skip that next time and try something else on the menu. Overall, it's a cool, reliable spot. Definitely somewhere I'd come back to when I want a simple, no-stress breakfast. read more

I went in for my birthday breakfast and brought my dogs so we sat in the outside patio. We were the only ones outside because of the record heat that was happening that day but it was 8:45am and in the shade the weather was nice. Jose was our waiter and we ordered a double almond latte and a coffee with a blueberry muffin. For entrees we ordered a quiche and a avocado bacon omelette. Ordered one of their breakfast burritos and the tres leeches pancakes. The server maria was kind and attentive. The burrito tasted good. The potatoes potatoes were not bad although overly seasoned. Still tasty enough. Issue is the pancakes didn't taste like tres leches at all there wasn't nearly any tres leches cream on it. The pancakes tasted just like ihops pancakes, which isn't bad if I wanted those. To Maria's credit, she didn't charge me for it. The price is not cheap but not expensive in my opinion. So overall the experience was fair and Maria did a nice job helping rectify the issue which is appreciated. Also the vibe of the place is typical Mimi's style with this pseudo European vibe, which I like. Take this info however you prefer. read more

Came on a Sunday brunch time from reservations made with friends. We were immediately seated and asked about drinks/refreshments. I really enjoyed that they had an extensive menu and at first felt a bit overwhelmed. Suffice it to say I'm glad I decided on the chorizo omelet which was fantastic and really appreciated that the meal came with a muffin that they seemed to have a bountiful amount of flavors to choose from. My wife selected their 1/2 roast chicken, but I feel like she would've preferred the salad more. I think I would want to visit to try more breakfast options and desserts. Delvin's humor is completely unique--dry, deadpan, and absolutely hilarious. At first you might wonder if he's joking... then you realize he's always joking, and it's brilliant. Beyond the laughs, he was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Great service can make a meal memorable, and Delvin definitely did that. I have been going to this Mimi's Cafe since I was a kid... wanted an early Thursday brunch feel for my ladies Birthed Day so we went here for her mimosa Kick! The baby had a standard cheese quesadilla and fries, I had a simple breakfast with sausage, eggs and potato's and she had the over the top French toast with eggs and bacon. We sat by the bar, drinks were fast, tv was on and the music was mixed but not too loud for a Thursday morning. Food was as it should have been, not over the top, nothing extravagant but most would rate this in the middle but I knew what I was coming for. This place holds a special place in my heart. My mother's favorite restaurant has always been Mimi's. When a women I connected with on a dating site suggested that we meet at this restaurant I felt that my mother in heaven was looking over me. On our first meeting at this restaurant we were seated in a booth. We talked for almost 4 hours and the staff never put any pressure on us to leave. We came in between lunch and dinner rushes, so many booths were open, so I was grateful they allowed us to get to know about each other for a long time. The food was just as great as the service, and the ambiance allowed us to enjoy a great talk without shouting. For my our six month anniversary, we came back here after church services. To our amazement, without them knowing, they sat us in the same booth we shared on our first meeting. We kept the conversation a bit more brief this time as the Sunday crowd was present.
