They are not pricy, just perfect Food: wow flavor was so top notch. I had the beef curry and the beef was amazing, the side chili was super good, my wife had the tip me over plate, and the steak was perfectly cooked. All the other plates were amazing (see pics) Establishment and staff: very nice setting, decorations and outdoor seating fits the place, very relaxed feel. There will be a bit of a wait on the weekends, this place has a very good clientele.

Treated my siblings to brunch…read more Parking: Free parking lot. They're located in a high foot traffic plaza, so finding an open spot can be challenging. Ambiance/Environment: They have a medium/large space with a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect for groups of all sizes. The decor is very cute and modern. Service: Our server was courteous, but she only checked on us 2x. It can be difficult to grab their attention. Throughput took about 20-30 min for everything to come out. Other staff were nice, but they were having conversations out loud which I thought was unprofessional. Food & drinks: 1) S'mores Pancakes (seasonal menu item) - Their fluffy pancakes were the main reason why we wanted to check this spot out. Looking at photos from other reviews, the presentation looked amazing and the pancakes were indeed fluffy. Unfortunately it was not the case for our pancakes. Presentation was okay, and the pancakes were collapsing. I did point out my concerns to our server, and she offered to replace them but since it's like a cake consistency, it might still collapse. We didn't want to wait for another set, so we decided to keep it. Surprisingly it tasted better than it looked! Definitely sweet but so delicious. 2) TUS Chilequiles - The chips were fried well and drenched generously. The avocado and other toppings were fresh. Good amount for one person. I'd prefer more protein, other than the egg. 3) Creme Brûlée French Toast - The French toast was decent. The top side of the toasts had torched sugar. The cream was also delicious. 4) Sweetella French Toast - Chocolate heaven. If you love chocolate, then these are for you. It's named "sweet" for a reason. 5) Mimosa Flight - The flight was $22, and it comes with 4 four ounce different flavored mimosas. There's orange, strawberry, lavender lemonade, & mango passion fruit. The flavors were good, but I'd prefer more alcohol. 6) Cookie Butter Latte & Iced Americano - Yummm! I love anything cookie butter. Their homemade cookie butter syrup was really good. This latte is on the sweeter side, of course. Americano tasted as expected. Pricing: Prices are what you'd expect from a brunch spot. Skip the pancakes. Service can improve. Vibes are great if you're with family & friends.

Toby likes to poke fun of me because I usually a cup or two of coffee when we're in, but, get me to…read morea breakfast diner or other food joint and I'm suddenly having six to eight cups with my meal. I remembered this because Iron Skillet has got to be the fastest on the draw in terms of keeping you coffee topped off. I counted in the first fifteen minutes I was there, I had my coffee refilled four times and probably eight times in the span of the forty-five minutes I was there. The only slowdown I saw was when they dropped off the bill. Suddenly after that no one was checking on me to see if I needed more coffee. I guess they figured that I had had enough and were cutting me off. That's a mistake because as long as I'm sitting at breakfast I'm going to want coffee. The second thing I noticed was they have a damn good skillet program here, especially if want to experiment with creating your own. It was something like $15.50 to put in three mix-ins for your skillet, but only $1.50 to make the mix-ins unlimited. This time I kept it simple--sausage, ham, green peppers, and onions along with customary cheddar and three eggs--but next time I'm going to experiment a little. The skillet itself was amazing. The portion was generous, the produce was fresh, and the eggs were super runny. It really is in contention for the best traditional skillet I've ever had. The other thing that could've put it in the running for best skillet overall is if they had some exotic offerings for protein like I've had elsewhere in the country like elk, smoked pulled pork, duck, walleye, or even rabbit. Skillets are good, but skillets with like an animal you don't normally see for breakfast is amazing. I'm still on the lookout for my goat skillet. The service, as aforementioned, was impeccable. The coffee refills is the main thing I complain about other breakfast joints and here I never even had a thought to getting upset regarding that for the first portion of the meal. My only critique as you may have guessed is to continue that generosity and initiative for the whole meal. I really want me to toy with breaking double digits with the amount of coffee refills I receive during a meal. And that's only going to happen if you continue to ask me after you drop off the bill. The ambience is good. It looks like a diner. It quacks like a diner. It's a diner. I felt right at home here with all that space and mix of booths, tables, and counter space. I'm definitely planning my trip back here for that superb Build-a-Skillet and that fantastic attention to keeping the coffee overflowing in my mug.
