When I explained to the nice young lady, she put another order in for what we were actually trying to order. I offered to pay the difference but they made me a brand new pizza! I was glad they had a smaller size pizza (6 slices) for building your own. I ordered that and got red sauce, fresh mozzarella, pineapple, mushrooms, and pesto drizzle. With a fountain drink the order came out to just under $20 which is a reasonable price given the pizza can last me 2 or 3 meals. While waiting I saw that they had some specials including happy hour Monday through Friday and daily lunch specials where you can get individual slices. The place was big and clean and good for party sizes. If my friends were in town I wouldn't mind taking them here for a night of pizza and drinks. In addition to their pizzas, they have appetizers, salad, and some pasta choices. I wish they had more choices for vegetarian pasta so that I can stop by when I want pasta. Their desserts include cakes like cheesecake or tiramisu, cinnamon knots, and 4 different Gelato flavors. When I got home, I made myself a salad and ate it with the pizza and it was delicious. I can definitely taste the difference of getting fresh mozzarella. I also like that you can get 2 slices of pizza and a drink combo for about $10 during certain lunch hours which is great for customers including the high school students nearby. I would give this place a solid 4.5 for the service, food, and clean dining area.

She is such a very nice worker here! This place is simple and doesn't have an inside to eat and is only for take out. But I had to come here because they used to have another location in Upland a few years back, so I finally got to try this original one. I missed the Upland location! Some more history...I used to work at NYPC for 5 years, which was the Pizza place there before Nonno's in Upland. Well, pizza is the thing to try because, duh, it's Nonno's Pizza. They have a sign you see when you walk in...Pizza special two cheeze slices and a can of soda for $9.50. In today's world a good deal! So for approximately $11.50, I got the two slices, but added Pepperoni on one and bacon bits on the other, which was an extra dollar plus the tax. I also got a can of Dr Pepper. This was all so well worth it. The slices were great! The right amount of cheese and toppings. The crust tasted really good and the pizza was the perfect thickness, not too thin or too thick, just right! It was wonderful the way it was cooked! Taylor did an excellent job making our fresh made slices cooked to order as we were the first ones in as they just opened for the day at 4 pm. The only issue I had was myself and not the pizza place, I usually like my slices well done and Joel and I realized we forgot to ask until after they were given to us lol. Oh darn, looks like we will have to come back and do a repeat! Joel, you know I am down! A special thanks to the Starbucks not kicking us out so we could eat our pizza slices inside and close by so they were still hot! For the record, we did buy Starbucks drinks since we were using their seating! Overall, great little hidden gem if you're a pizza lover. On the next round, good idea to split a pizza slice special, split another item, and add a drink so we have our own. And also to see how the pizza is when I remember to ask for well done! I will definitely be back. Thanks Nonno's and Taylor for a beautiful experience here. Thank you Joel for an awesome time here!!!

It's also super clean inside and has an inviting ambiance. I was a little frustrated with the Mountain Mike's website user experience because every time I tried loading the "local deals" the page refreshed and removed all items from my cart. Although I think the user experience should be seamless whether ordering through the website or app, I was glad to know they have an app I can order from next time. After getting home, I did notice that my order was incorrect. I ordered pepperoni jalapeño and received pepperoni. However, the pizza was amazing and I'm happy they have the fire mozzarella sticks at this location. I'm definitely choosing this location over the RC one any day.

I didn't get a chance to see what alcohol was provided, but it looks like everyone was having a good time when I came in to pick up my order, so I'm going to assume it's pretty good. I've been to Michael Angelo's Pizza before, but never during their lunch hours, so I was excited to…read morecheck out the lunch specials. When I got to the counter, I saw the lunch special menu and ordered two individual pizza slices. I chose the pastrami pizza, which came with mustard and pickles. The concept sounded great, but unfortunately, the pizza was a disappointment. The pastrami tasted unpleasant, and the pickles were soggy. The only positive thing I can say is that the crust was good. I only ate one slice and ended up giving the rest away. The bigger issue was that I thought I was ordering two regular pizza slices, but instead I received what looked more like two personal-sized pizza slices. After receiving my order, I politely asked about it because I thought there may have been a mistake. The employee helping me, Sally, seemed upset by my question and responded in a rude manner. I've never experienced customer service like that here before. I explained that the lunch menu appeared to advertise two individual slices, but she told me they no longer serve them that way because it caused too much waste. I understood that explanation, but then she went on to say that she had actually given me a deal because the personal pizzas cost more. She pointed to the menu board to justify it, but that missed the point. I wasn't trying to get a better deal, I simply wanted what I believed I had ordered from the lunch menu. Just a heads-up: if you order the lunch special expecting individual pizza slices like you'd get at Costco or Sam's Club, that's not what you'll receive. Instead, you'll get personal sized pizza portions. I also paid cash because the restaurant advertises a cash discount, but the savings were minimal around 20 cents. The restaurant does have plenty of space for parties and group events. However, if you're planning to watch a fight or a game there, be aware that the TV is fairly small, which may matter to some customers. Overall, the food quality, confusion over the lunch special, and the poor customer service made this a disappointing visit.

If that guy is still going to be there I wouldn't go back. A place could be good and still have crappy people working and ruining the experience. We get home, and I notice my wings barely have sauce, and normally we don't have to worry because they always pour a good amount of sauce on the wings, even my husband who asked for extra sauce on his.
