It's honestly never been part of my regular restaurant rotation but Corner Bakery has also never disappointed. They've always had consistently delicious food ranging from pastas, sandwiches, and salads. They often have good deals and this time it was $6.99!! for their pick 2 combo (regularly ~$15, depending what you get). This is a steal - it lasts till the end of March so definitely take advantage! Portions are generous and the food is amazing. I've been here twice recently and I've tried their shrimp scampi pasta, chopped salad, lemon orzo soup, chicken enchilada soup, and carbonara pasta. I would come back and get any of these items again! They were that good. Corner Bakery is so underrated. read more

It's been years since I've been at this location but stopped by to grab a quick and light lunch while I wait for my daughter to finish up on her volleyball practice. Ordered a cup of Chicken Noodle Soup + a regular iced tea and my total came out to about $13.00 - not too bad. I personally thought there was too much sodium and got quite thirsty after eating that meal. Service was great -the cashier was very nice! The restaurant may need a quick makeover due to the interior feeling a bit outdated. I feel they can do a lot more with the amount of space they have. Overall, a 6/10. :) read more

My first time visiting a Corner Bakery and I'm not sure I would go back. The cooking staff seemed understaffed for the amount of customers they had waiting in line. I ordered the bacon and cheddar panini. I like my bread to be toasted. My sandwich was Saturated in butter, soft and greasy. The ladies taking orders were friendly despite the long line. read more

This is a nice place to meet friends for brunch. We always find a nice booth and each order our own meals for our individual tastes. The menu has several breakfast options whether you're looking for hot or cold items, light or a more filling meal. Staff at the counter are pleasant and efficient, and staff delivering food to our table are friendly, coming back occasionally to see if we need anything else or if they can clear any dishes. Ordered my food on the mobile app. I put it for a later time but i arrived early so i had to wait a little bit. i live about 20 min away from this location and when i got home; my order was incorrect. i ordered the bacon tomato mac n cheese entree. I got a plain mac n cheese instead. The pasta carbonara had no bacon as well and it came with no bread. The chicken panini sandwich i ordered looked like à pancake. not even close to looking like the picture on the menu. Very disappointed. read more

Wow! Am so impressed with the food and service here! I haven't been to a Corner Bakery in years, but came in this Sunday night for a healthy meal before the gym. I got their Chicken Rosa Pasta, mixed side salad, and Crispy Cheddar Beef 1/2 sandwich. The pasta -- with chicken, spinach, tomatoes, and cream tomato sauce -- was so delicious, and such a a generous portion! I could not even eat the sandwich (will eat it for lunch tomorrow). The hubby got a Shrimp Scampi, Cesar salad, and a Chicken salad. Everything was so fresh and fantastic quality! I'll be coming once a week now! Jaquavius's Baddielicious Shrekery was fantastic. I loved the Burnt Fred ™ and the Shrek Juice ™! If you hear whispers while eating the Burnt Fred ™, NO YOU DIDNT. Everything tasted like swamp water and unfinished sentences, not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing but I finished it. Good experience I had at Corner Bakery at Chino Hills. The cashier/hostess Cassandra was very polite and helpful throughout our time at Corner Bakery. The service was very quick and great and we had to waited little time for our food. I had gotten the loaded baked potato bowl and it was great. The green onions and cheese tasted good with it. My mom, nana & I never fail to pick this place for our weekly meet ups. This location is filled with sweet employees & amazing service. Always super clean & mangers are walking around asking customers "if we need anything else" or "is everything tasting amazing over here". I love when mangers come to check up on us , it shows that they care and are providing us a space where we feel comfortable. I totally recommend this location for the best experience when dinning in. I stopped in for a simple cup of coffee. Who knew it would cost more than Starbucks! The counter person said it's because I got a mug instead of a paper cup. This place was horrible. I ordered a $12 BLT and it was expressed that it came with a side, only to see that I was charged $4.00 additional for the side. I ordered chai tea and was surprised to see that their chai is nothing more than flavored syrup (gross). I was charged over $30 for two coffees and one sandwich with a cup of soup. PLUS, this place had no regular coffee, what is that?? I am very disspointed and will not be going back. There are many other great places in that area, don't waste your time. read more

I'm surprised I don't already have a review in. I've come to this Corner Bakery several times, thinking it will get better, but it doesn't. Some of the food is very good and some is just okay. The bakery items disappoint. But the real let down is the staff. For some reason when I come in, there are always young people working and I always get the same exact person at the register. She seems friendly, but gives me a weird look and every time- I kid you not- she turns around, says something to the other employee, and starts giggling. I just can't bring myself to come here anymore because I feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. I can't help but wonder if they are doing something to the food. She isn't very engaging. On one of my visits, I came for a meeting and there was something terribly wrong with my soup. It didn't taste right and it and I can't remember exactly but like they had added something they weren't supposed to. I can't remember what but it was inedible. Since I was in a meeting, I couldn't get up & complain. I just went hungry. Also I read on other reviews about the staff being attentive- I don't know if it's the time of day I've come or what (I've come in during the early afternoon and in the evening), but I've never once had someone come to my table and check up on us. I don't know what I ever did to those people- I'm always polite and I certainly don't know them personally- we aren't even in the same age group- but something is off in that place and I just don't trust it anymore. I'm sad because I really liked the ambiance and food selection, but the staff ruined it for me. If you do come, I recommend a pasta or a sandwich. Those seem to be your best bet. The mini bundts are dry and flavorless. read more

Well not the best tasting food I have had lately. The breakfast croissant was very dry. It had no sauce in the sandwich at all. It was okay once some mayo was added. The breakfast bowl that had eggs, bacon, spinach avocado and onion didn't have any flavor at all. Had to add salt and pepper and then some catchup. We had one soft drink and water and the bill was $27 dollars and change. The restaurant was clean and so were the restrooms. I don't think we will be returning. read more

I have been coming to this restaurant many times in the mid-2000' for so many years way before the pandemic. I went back after the pandemic and the food we got wasn't good. We liked their breakfast menu. So anyway, I thought to give them another try. I got a family member's favorite Pesto Cavappati without the crumbs on top for dinner. I usually get an order without the Chicken in it. Well, It turned out that the family member didnt like it., so I tried it. What happened was the pesto sauce was water down flavor. The pasta was also little over cooked. I ended up having to eat it later by adding store bought pasta sauce over it. I also ordered 2 Sugar cookies. They ran out of our favorite Snickerdoodle cookies. I loved their mini bundt cakes but did not purchase it. The service was good and the place was clean. read more

Scamming people of their money. McDonalds $2.50 chicken sandwich is better than the food they have here. How can you be that stingy with your food? Got their BBLT and Chicken pesto sandwich and they were the saddest sandwiches I've ever had. 2 tiny pieces ( I don't even want to call them strips ) of bacon for the bblt and all I could taste was the bread for the chicken pesto. I got the mixed salad for a side and the sauce was just oil and the sandwiches were waaaaay too bland and small. Please don't give them business. They don't deserve it. read more

Let me tell you and stop you right in your tracks if you're looking at other things on their menu. Their Croffle is top of the line, the best croffle invention I have ever had, and gave me another reason to exist and enjoy life, just so I can eat their Croffles. If you are wondering what it is, it's like a dessert fusion breakfast item in between a croissant and a waffle pressed in a waffle iron. This makes an airy, buttery, crunchy, waffle bite, and it's got me drooling as I am typing this hungry. They pair it here with mixed berries, and their house-made fresh whipped cream. The whipped cream is another story I need to say, because I originally thought it was too much since its a size of an ice cream scoop, but I finished the whole thing and enjoyed every bite of it since it is also one of the best fresh whipped creams I have had. Just get the croffle, OK? 100% gauranteed you will love it and thank me later, please. Also, if I may convince you of another thing. If you love matcha and cinnamon, it is no doubt you will love their Shrek Latte. I read "Matcha, brown sugar, and cinnamon, as their description, and I was immediately sold. Sign me up for another Shrek Latte please, and I'll change my name to Fiona. I absolutely loved it and would order again. The staff here are also beyond friendly, and genuinely sweet. They checked on my friend and I every now and then and made sure we were taken care of. They are all so beautiful, and have such great smiles. I can see why the wait line was so long! I would come back every weekend if I were closer to Wara Cafe, but it just gives me more reason to bring another friend along and make the trip out here. I especially liked the Longanisa sausage. We also had an iced Americano and a hot Americano. Both coffee were no good. We did not liked the taste of their coffee. No amount of creamer can make it taste better. Their coffee was the worst part of our meal. We will not be ordering their coffee again. Overall service was good. Servers were friendly and attentive.

While I was trying to focus on some work, one of the employees from the counter sat with a friend near the cashier area and they were speaking very loudly. Their conversation included comments about someone being Asian and arguing about whether someone was Black. It felt uncomfortable and unprofessional to overhear that kind of conversation while sitting in the shop. I hope the staff receive some basic customer service and professionalism training, as the atmosphere made it difficult to enjoy the space.
