My 11 year old Son had a Papa John's gift card he received for his birthday, there is no Papa John's in our area, so we happened to be in Chino, and we saw a Papa John's, so we decided to cash out our birthday gift card. We ordered a stuffed crust pizza and some garlic knots and wings. Received our order promptly. We left and I decided to eat a hot slice, lo and behold it did not have a cheese crust. We were upset, so we decided to go back and confront the lady upfront. The manager came over and apologized, and said wait ten minutes and I will get you what you ordered. He gave my son a free large chocolate cookie, let us keep the regular pizza and corrected our order. I really appreciate his service and how handled the situation. Thank you ! I have ordered from this location multiple times a month for years with typically few issues. Last weekend I placed a semi large order for a small get together and part of the order wasn't delivered. I called the store to let them know and asked if it could be remedied. The girl that answered told me that I could only come pick it up myself or be refunded. She said she would charge me another delivery fee to deliver the missing part of my order. Excuse me?! After multiple attempts to request they fix their mistake I told her to just refund it. As it turns out instead of giving the refund for the full amount of the missing item she came up with some weird $4.31 to refund. I have never received such horrible service and will NEVER order from here again. I also plan to reach out to corporate because this is unacceptable in my opinion. In one word this place is a rip off. They have a special on the Shaq-aroni right now but this door charges a dollar above the advertise price. Ive been ordering pizza carryout & delivery here for over 3 years. Every time they have been great. The service is fast and efficient. Papa John's flavor is usually amazing and this location is consistently on point. Very nice employees and nice clean store when I have walked in for carry out. One recent time, during quarantine my daughter asked for pizza for her 6th birthday and they delivered happily and on time with happy birthday messages on the boxes because I mentioned it in the online ordering comments. Horrible customer service. Their site when ordering online states that you'll receive an email w/ delivery time. After 10 minutes, no email. I am concerned because I ordered a ton of food for the 4 18 year old athletes in my house that are wanting to eat the furniture! I call the store and get nothing but attitude, as though I'm disturbing the young individual that answered the phone. I'm the first to admit that Im not exactly a Papa John's connoisseur but the pie also tasted different from when I've had it in the Midwest & down south.
