The food is good, but they mess up the order sometimes. I order to go a lot and it always takes a long time as well.

We've been dining at this Islands location for years and it's always consistently good. The dining room is large & clean with tables and booths. On this visit we sat in the bar which was equally clean. We were waited on by a friendly and polite young lady who brought us waters and took our orders. Drinks are always cold our food was fresh and hot. We opted for the Big Wave special that came with a basket of fries per order, all for $10. We left with full stomach's and another good dining experience at our local Islands. read more

Five stars for the food and six stars for Britney! She provided the best service we've had in a long time. The Long Island burger was juicy and delicious, but Britney's friendly 'Aloha' attitude is what will bring us back. Highly recommend this spot for a chill family dinner. read more

Went to islands last night for happy hour (11/26/25) We always have a good experience in the bar area at happy hours (Janet, one of the bartenders is awesome) We sat down at a dirty table and waited 20+mins. By the time we ordered drinks we only had 5 mins left of happy hour. No one acknowledged us or bussed the table or said sorry we'll be tight with you. The bartenders and the manger all walked by and helped other people. I finally got up and went to the manger (small grey haired guy I've never seen before) to tell him how long we've been waiting and he seemed annoyed and didn't even say Oh sorry! Just said oh ok we'll be over. The bartender who had ignored us is ended up being nice apparently just overwhelmed. But It wasn't any busier than usual. Well I found an old gift card in my safe the kids gave us over 10 years ago so we went for lunch. Had burgers and fries and iced tea. The food was good and just as we remembered it. We had a great experience! Our server Samuel was extremely attentive and knowledgeable!! He answered all of our questions about the menu which was super helpful. Everything was so good! I haven't had Islands in a while and today it did not disappoint! Alyssa was Our server and she was friendly and sweet. I ordered the sandpiper and a root beer float and it was everything I wanted. The sandpiper was cooked to perfection. Not dry. Extremely juicy and they weren't stingy with the mushrooms. French fries were crispy af! Hot and delicious. The root beer float had a generous portion of vanilla ice cream and it came In the most beautiful frosty mug. Went here with my boyfriend. We got the spinach artichoke dip to start, my boyfriend really like that one. I got the Hawaiian burger and he got the Pipeline. I really liked mine, I would come back for the burger, but my boyfriend said his was okay. The fries were decent and the drinks were strong. I would recommend going for the drinks, I feel like it's a deal for the price. My absolute favorite was the Kona Pie. Last time I had Kona Pie was in Hawaii and I missed it. Five stars. We had a great time at Island's and our waiter Johnny really made the night. He was super friendly from the start and made us feel comfortable right away. He checked on us without hovering and everything came out exactly how we ordered it. Our drinks never ran empty and he had solid menu suggestions that we were glad we took. It's never bad or absolutely amazing. It's in the middle. I feel like they flip-flop on their pricing and what they offer they used to have unlimited fries then they went à la cart then they brought it back. I wish there was more consistency. 3.5 stars Islands has this thing where you can sub out the patty on any of their burgers for a turkey one at no additional charge. Turkey burgers usually only roll out one way at most restaurants, but here at Islands, the menu is your oyster with all these other concoctions. And this is how I ended up at Islands. I ordered the Malibu burger ($14.99) and subbed for a turkey patty. The Malibu comes with cheddar cheese, smoked hickory bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and mustard. Eh, my burger could have stood for some sauce to bind everything together. It was a tad on the dry side. The fries were also crispy hallow shells of potatoes which was definitely not my French fry vibe. Food and this particular location in Chino was our favorite place to go until 2 years ago. This place and management is deteriorating gradually from food consistency and management. Men's rest room faucet has been damaged or not working properly since last three times I have been there in last 6 months. Every-time there is an issue with at least one items e.g. burnt fries, burnt bread, stale or expired ranch dressing etc. Last night is probably our last time going to this location. Amazing experience with Scott and Todd (Managers and hoping I have the correct names). Small issue with online order that they took care of and went above and beyond. Very rare to actually get a call back and follow up which both of them did. A+ experience and even though it was such a small issue, felt like an extremely valued customer. Great Food, Friendly service, and a great atmosphere. My date and I went here for lunch yesterday and was immediately served once we got our seats. I ordered the Bacon Burger with Onion rings. It was well cooked and not a single issue with the meal. My date ordered the burger salad and was well prepared and looked appealing as well. There were three of us lunching today and we ordered mostly from their lunch menu except for me. My "go to" are their fish tacos. First things first, the service is amazing, the people that work here are upbeat and willing to do literally anything to make you happy. The bad part -- the chef behind the counter must be pissed or underpaid -- the chips and salsa tasted canned, tortilla soup tasted so bad my child barfed it back in the bowl. Burger was pink and the meat tasted like it came straight from Aldi's freezer. The fries -- I don't know what the hell happened, the fries tasted like little sticks of fried dirt. I still remember the first time I came here 3-4 months ago and the hostess was just on top of it as well as the servers and bussers. I had the Big Wave burger a few times and the beef patty didn't taste fresh to me. Once I could actually taste and smell the blood that it had been sitting in which was a major turn off. My partner also started to feel sick from the deep fried food the first time we were here, which may have meant the deep fryer oil wasn't good anymore. I tried the Moa Crisp this last time I went and it was decent. Nothing to write home about. If I were to try it again, I would probably ask for some extra condiments to enhance the flavor of the sandwich. read more
