Went to Applebee's with 4 friends on a Tuesday evening around 8pm. We were greeted and seated quickly, which was a great start. The establishment was very clean and pleasant. Our server was really friendly and got our drinks and appetizers out fast. We all ordered the 2 for $25 deal, which ended up being more like 2 for $36 after upgrading some options. Half of us got the steak and the other half got the chicken and shrimp. The chicken and shrimp was honestly really good -- well seasoned, cooked well, and super enjoyable. Unfortunately, the steak didn't hit the mark for the others. It was grainy, dense, and just not very enjoyable, especially considering it was an upcharge. I appreciate being thanked for my service, but it should come with respectful treatment--especially at places that promote military support. Guess "thank you for your service" only applies when it's convenient--certainly not when Applebee's has to actually treat veterans right. Nothing says "thank you for your service" like Applebee's making veterans feel like an inconvenience. "Thank you for your service" apparently expires at the Applebee's door. So we came here because we were at work late and were so hungry and it was the only place open. I was not thinking I would get to eat anything good but I had no choice. But I was pleasantly surprised. I had the best tasting impossible burger I ever had. Perfect taste and great fries. Fresh brioche bun, lettuce tomato and pickle. Nothing extra just a perfect burger. While it's not a place I typically choose myself, it's a reliable option and when someone in my group suggests it, I don't mind going. It's a great go-to for something simple and familiar. Most menu items are solid, and I would say the offerings have drastically improved over the years. My personal favorite is the chicken wonton tacos--they're always a hit. During my most recent visit, I ordered a salad, and they brought it out missing a main ingredient because they had run out. While they did offer to replace it, I wish they had informed me beforehand instead of surprising me at the table with the rest of our meal. Unfortunately, the wait for the replacement salad was very long, and by the time it arrived, we were ready to leave. However the salad was well prepared and tasted good. We came here around 7:00 on a Friday night mainly for Dollaritas and to get the weekend started. Service: 5/5 We got seated right away at a booth when we got in. The host and servers were very friendly. They checked out I.D and got us started with Dollaritas right away. The food came out fairly quickly and the servers came by frequently to check if we needed anything. We got multiple rounds of Dollaritas and they were quick with it. Food: 5/5 I don't know why people hate on Applebees. Their food was actually really good. We got a sampler platter and the 2 for $28 deal with onion rings, whisky burger, and a top sirloin. Everything was delicious. The onion rings were crispy and the sweet bbq sauce paired well. The sirloin steak is definitely deceiving dry from the picture, but it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. It was tender and had a nice sear on it. The burger was good but nothing special, however the fries were cold and not crispy enough. The sampler platter was great but you can't go wrong with deep fried bar food. Ambiance: 5/5 Dollaritas were amazing. They were strong but didn't taste like awful. Ordered steak and mashed potatoes to go for dinner. My steak was supposed to be cooked medium rare but was rare and cold in some places. The mashed potatoes had a piece of plastic in them. Didn't even eat it, just ended up tossing it away. Usually have good service but it hasn't been as good lately especially when you order take out. Took the wife here Tuesday, got there, waited about 5 to be seated. The waiter took our drinks and an appetizer. A few minutes later brought our drinks but forgot straws, then we politely asked for straws, he said he didn't have any with him, he would bring some in a bit. 10 mins passed by, no straws, then we ask again, and he said oh sorry I'll bring them right away, another 10 and he brings one straw, then leaves, I asked again that we need another and he didn't have any again, he said he would bring it soon. 30 mins pass by, our food gets taken to the table behind us, but we didn't know, until the a waitress came back and asked if we order that food, we said yes... Safe to assume the waiter gave her the wrong table.,and still no straw. After asking again, we finally got the second straw. I got the full rack of ribs (Huge mistake, don't order ribs at Applebee's, it's not a place for ribs.) learned the bad way, same price as Texas road house, but the ribs are over cooked and have any meat on them. I asked for an extra side of BBQ sauce, then the guy got us refills and forgot to bring the BBQ sauce. He was quick he would drop off the drinks and leave right away, we didn't have a chance mention that he forgot things. Anyway he came back again like 10 minutes later and asked again for the BBQ sauce, he brought refills Again and forgot the sauce, again. 10 mins later it seems like he remembered and brought it out of nowhere. The guy was nice, but he was bad at his job, kept forgetting everything, it wasn't that busy it was a Tuesday. Here's the worse part, when I was paying via the kiosk, the screen goes to the tip section, and I tapped my card to pay and accidently my card touched the 18% tip section on the screen and right away it processed the total plus the tip. There was no way to undo the tip because it processed it right away. We carry our 3 boxes of food to go, because the waiter didn't bring us a bag, so we went to the front to get a bag and talk to a manager but nobody came to help us, we left after 5 minutes of waiting. Got served either raw, undercooked, uncooked or infected chicken and they won't do nothing about it other than remaking it or offer Applebees gift cards. I ordered to go for the weekend. All dishes were chicken related and one of the chicken entree came with a big bright red spot in it. Some may say that's bruise, some may say that's vein and many will it's fine to eat it, but none who would advise of eating it has gotten food poisoning from eating chicken like this. I have. It was 2019, and it was also a piece of grill chicken breast. It wasn't Applebees but it was also a nationwide chained establishment. I saw something similar but it was only a tiny red spot in the chicken breast. Like many suggested, I told myself it's fine and I'm being extra, ate it and got food poisoned. I had continuous diarrhea and vomit for 2 days, body aches and fever. Couldn't keep food down for almost a week. Luckily I didn't need to visit the hospital cuz at the time I was in between job transition. So no, I'm never eating another piece of chicken with ANY redness inside. I don't care if you can rationalize it. Anything in chicken that's thoroughly cooked should be closer to brown than bright red. This ain't right. Period. Worst of all if I do get sick it ain't like they'll compensate me anything or pay my hospital bill if I need medical care. So do not try suggesting it's fine to eat it. I brought it back to their location, with everything in the same package (as shown in picture) so I can prove that I'm not trying to get a free meal (I got better things to do than trying to scam a meal outta Applebees. Plus if anyone were to scam a meal, it'd better be somewhere that serves good food and not some premade microwaved meals). Surprisingly or unsurprisingly, they "can't refund". Not even reversing my order or anything. All they offer is "we're looking into it and will reach out." I haven't had Applebees in probably over 6-7yrs because tue experience is always subpar and this sure as hell is the nail in the coffin. I'm never EVER wasting a dime at these trashy chain ever again. The staff are paid poverty wage so they don't give a crap about customers problems or food safety. Who can blame them? It's not like working hard gets you anything at these dead end jobs. I would give it 0 star and if I have the time I would give every single Applebees a zero. Yea, management, contact me please. Apple Bees continues to be the far cry from years past. The menu is filled with items that can be spot-on delicious, and horrifically disappointing. Patrons should just regard Apple Bees as a place for simple bar food. Ironically, their burgers are not one of the bar items I would ever get again. Charging restaurant prices for their burgers that are cooked well done and dried out to the point you would have to drench it in ketchup or another sauce of your choosing. The steaks are drenched in butter when served and therefore tasty, but you can still see they are serving Choice grade meat. Lemonades and other similar drinks continue to taste like they were dispensed out of a commercial bag. Better just stick to the sodas or water. The only save from my limited experience here was how friendly the service was. The staff at this location were very nice and attentive. Apple Bees has achieved the ultimate neighborhood commercialized restaurant that you find in most planned communities. read more

Of course me being the sucker I am I had to have the endless boneless again since I had such a great experience at my last Applebees! This one left a lot to be desired. My check in was easy and quicker about 20 mins. However, I wasn't presented with a menu about the endless wings or told they were still on special. My service throughout my visit want as great I felt checked on less and less even my refills took more than 10 mins to get to me and my wing refills took longer. By the time I ordered a refill I was all about to take them home to enjoy them better at home. The ambiance wasn't busy so I felt like it wasn't as busy as the wait time felt but it was very slow the service. Please step it up! read more
