| Dangerous, Mismanaged, and A Total Nightmare I will never give Original Tommy's another dime of my business. What was supposed to be an anniversary celebration at the Chino, CA location turned into a chaotic, unsafe disaster due to abhorrent management decisions. The Wait: It took a staggering two hours just to get my food. Understaffing: Management left the front line out to dry with only one single cashier handling an entire anniversary crowd. Safety Hazards: The building was dangerously overcrowded, way over its legal capacity. This franchise is incredibly lucky the fire marshal wasn't called, because it was a major safety violation waiting to happen. Hostile Environment: Because of the endless delays, the crowd became hostile and the environment felt genuinely dangerous. I want to be clear: the individual employees on shift were doing the absolute best they could under pressure. This failure falls squarely on the shoulders of management, who set their team up to fail and put customers at risk. To make matters worse, I reached out to corporate to alert them to these severe issues and received absolutely zero response. It is a horrible company that clearly does not care about customer safety, employee well-being, or basic service standards. Avoid this location at all costs. read more

Truly an Angeleno classic! I remember growing up loving Tommy's, it's been a staple in SoCal for as long as I can remember. They're still good, but as my palate has matured, I found the food to be decent but missing something that would elevate it--maybe a bit more salt or seasoning? Overall, it's a place filled with nostalgia, mostly located in Southern California with a few spots in Vegas. Missing a star for flavor, and I also noticed that the portions seemed smaller than I remember from my childhood. Still a nostalgic spot worth visiting if you've never been, but for me, it's not quite the same as it used to be. Service was great! read more

Their customer service, drive thru personnel are trash. They often "forget" to complete the order and you only realize a chilly hot dog or fries are missing when you get home, making you drive (8 miles) back to the place to pick it up. No apologies or anything similar to it. read more

I rarely go inside and usually order through the drive-through. I like their chili hamburger without the mustard and pickles and that will do it. Went to Tommy's drive through on a Saturday morning . Service was fast and friendly. I ordered a breakfast burrito with everything (for the first time) I especially loved that it was being made fresh to order. I even observed them cracking open the fresh eggs . I must say the burrito was hot and very delicious. I even had some leftover to take for lunch on Monday s work lunch hour. And even tasted good being reheated. Okay now I grew up going to the Tommy's in los angeles and then later the one that use to be in rowland heights and This is my second time coming here and I must say I don't care for this location. I returned to give it a second chance but something about their food doesn't sit right with ny stomach. I never had issues at the many many times I went to the other locations. Customer service was a little rude through the drive thru. Then when we go to window the girl seemed rushed. We asked for a lid for out box and she handed us one with chili on it. Second the fries were not covered like they half assed the food and lastly they forgot to give us out drinks that we had to come back for them. This review is for the Chino location just off of California 60. We went there for dinner, and found that they were out of tamales until Wednesday. We went back outside and called my wife to ask what she would like. When we ordered, we had difficulty understanding the young man behind the counter because he was wearing a mask. I am also hard of hearing. While I was filling up my drink cup I heard somebody behind me making a lot of noise. I did not know what he was saying because my hearing aids are directional. My daughter moved up to let me know that the man behind me want to get a napkin. She did explain that I was hard of hearing. For some reason the man then told my daughter that he was going to "fuck her up." He continued to get louder and louder and I turned around to see what's going on. Another person was with him tried to call him down. It wasn't working. My daughter moved my granddaughter closer to her and just started holding her to protect her. I moved up at that point. The other person who is with the antagonist tried to apologize. They both left shortly after, but there was continued yelling outside until they drove off. NO ONE from the establishment came out to intervene and try to sort things out, or calm things down. They left my daughter, my 7 granddaughter, and a 71-year-old disabled veteran to fend for ourselves. When it was all done, a person from the business asked if we were OK. No, we were not!!! We really were not!!!! My granddaughter was in tears, and my daughter was in tears. Other male customers in the business told us they were getting close to "dealing" with the "antagonist" but didn't have to. It is a 1.4 mile drive from this restaurant to where we were staying. By the time we got there the food was cold. A COMPLETE AND TOTAL LACK OF CONCERN FOR THE SAFETY AND WELLBEING OF CUSTOMERS AT THIS LOCATION AFTER SPENDING AROUND $95.00 FOR FOOD AND TWO T-SHIRTS. I am a HUGE Tommy's fan, I am born and raised in LA so I was excited to find a Tommy's location in Chino. I was sadly disappointed with the service & food. I used the drive thru to place my order & everything was fine until I got my order. I asked for chile peppers (because they are must when eating Tommy's) the associate seemed annoyed & I when I was handed my food -by a different person (not the person who charged me) he practically came out of the drive thru window to shove the food in my face. I order a double chile cheese burger, which was good but the yellow pepper were horrible! They looked old, they were dried out, and one of them had a dark spot inside of it. Haven't had Tommy's in forever and it was delicious. I'm a huge chili fan and was so excited to bite into their burger and their chili cheese fries. I went through the drive thru so can't really comment on the inside of the facility but I can say that even with a long line, I was still able to get to the window rather quickly. The meal was exactly what I was hoping for and I would definitely go again. Keep an eye out for their specials. They always have great deals for specific days of the week. And with having a family of four, I was able to keep some money in my pocket with their deal. read more

I live close to this place, and I figured it will be the same as the Beverly Blvd and Rampart original place. The double cheeseburger was horrible. The chili sauce was very stingy like someone spread it very thinly on the bun. The dill was outside the bun, and it came with no napkin nor chili peppers on the side. It cost $7.25 + tax which totaled $7.88. They are skimping on napkins too. It was not like the original place which was oozing with chili sauce. Food is delicious! Love the Chile burgers, Chili dogs, and Chili Tamales!! The only issue is that every time I go during the summer, its hot and muggy inside, so its uncomfortable dining in. I've asked the lady manager to please raise the air conditioning temp a few times but she always tells me that its not working and that they're waiting for it to get fixed. She's told me and my various friends this exact same excuse a few times over the last two years or so, so she's obviously being insincere.
