I took my daughter here because she got good grades but this is also a very nice spot for dates or just a night out. It has an upscale vibe inside but with decent pricing. The all you can eat menu is top tier! I was able to get everything I wanted without having to nickel and done everything. With tip everything came out to $100 for two people but it was well worth it. The service was great and the sushi was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.

We wanted to give another AYCE place a try and think we found our favorite spot. Price of AYCE is $36.99 a person. Parking can get little busy but we were able to find one behind the restaurant by the housing area. Walked in and server will ask if you are doing AYCE or al la carte. They will explain if its your first time dining there. Certain "premium items" are one time only per person. But those are always the best quality. The day of our visit blue fin tuna was good but their regular tuna was not as good as I anticipated. Its my favorite fish but I had to switch to yellowtail for the night. Rice ratio is good and sushi was cut pretty big pieces. I do like it when places use rice machine otherwise they will try to fill you up with too much rice under the nigiri. Overall experience was good and I don't know how long they will be doing the beer specials but we were abel to get a glass of Asahi for $3.50. I feel like compared to other places they definitely have little more options like fries. Although I love fries I didn't want my stomach to get filled up with fries lol Workers were super friendly and they food surprisingly came out super fast compared to other AYCE spots. They do time you 90 minutes and you can see your time left on the tablet.

I would have posted more pictures but i got so caught up eating i forgot to take them I LOVE sushi. I generally dislike AYCE sushi because you really are letting go of the quality for a cheaper price point. If i do get ayce, i normally go to x-fish. But i just moved job locations to San Dimas and like any good yelper, you're gonna scout the area and see what's up lol This page popped up on my search and i was surprised how good the reviews were! I immediately hit up my friend and we made plans to check it out. The place is located in an apartment/business center, meaning if you live there you can walk out and get food (super jealous) the parking was okay. I bet it's a pain if it's the weekend and busy but we went pretty early on a Sunday. The inside is decently sized. Not super big, not super small. You're given the choice of Ayce or normal menu. We always had to go AYCE. For the premium you get a set amount based on the number of people you have. I wanna say it's 2 pieces per person but i could be wrong. We obviously got all the premium stuff? The scallops were honestly my favorite! I was i had been able to order more but the rest of the sushi was great ! We also got some of their appetizers and fried stuff and it was all great. A good sushi place will have good crispy tuna rice and good baked mussels; if they don't... RUN lol The staff is very nice and you get to order on an iPad so it kinda saves the hassle of flagging people down. I like that music isn't loud and you can have a decent conversation with people and not feel like you have to yell to talk to each other. Overall a solid location, I'll definitely be coming back and redeeming myself with the pictures

Good AYCE. Glad there is Finally one in the area! The Hostess Rose was very nice. Explained the menu thoroughly. Service was good during 80% of the time we dined there. Items came out fairly quickly. Towards the end, service got slower. Waters were not refilled. It took a while to get the bill. Only thing I didn't like was that they recommended for us to try the fresh wasabi but did not mention that it would be an extra charge. We were given two dishes and when the bill came, we were charged for both. Also, we were told that we couldn't have any leftovers. The hostess mentioned one roll maximum is ok. However, one of the servers, one that did not assist us at all during our stay, said that every piece of sushi/ item had to be eaten before we could receive the bill and check out... OR we would be charged. We had about two pieces left and a piece of fried chicken left. That would have been ok at other establishments.

Stopped in for dinner with a couple of friends. We were there kind of close to closing, but we're welcomed in with very friendly service! The restaurant is a good size and can definitely fit a nice crowd. They have a bar that people can sit at and plenty of flat top tables. They offer an AYCE menu, but we weren't hungry for that, so went with ordering a la carte. The menu includes a ton of sushi, Ramen, and Bento box type diner combos. We ordered gyoza, takoyaki, Ramen, and some diner combos with Karaage, katsu, teriyaki and california roll. Everything was really good! The price was in line with what I expected. I'm so glad to have this new addition to the neighborhood!

Wow! One of my Yelpies recommended this spot, and it was absolutely phenomenal. Easily some of the best AYCE sushi I've had! We were greeted right away by a super friendly host. After being seated, she clearly explained the AYCE process, ordering is done through a tablet, and you have a 90 minute window to enjoy as much sushi as you'd like. We tried a variety of rolls, including the Alaskan, Dragon, and Philly, and every single one was fresh and delicious. Everything came out quickly, and the quality was consistently delicious. If you're craving sushi, this place is definitely worth it, we'll absolutely be back!

There is a great selection of sushi here and the regular all-you-can-eat menu had plenty of delicious options. We really enjoyed the variety of the rolls and the classic nigiri was fresh and flavorful. I will be sure to upload all the photos of what we tried because the presentation was also quite nice. My first impression was a bit confusing because I was asked to choose between the premium or regular tiers before I even saw a menu. I would have appreciated a physical menu or a chart to compare the two options first, but since I couldn't see the differences, I just stuck with the regular menu. The staff is very friendly and they do a great job of checking in on the table and keeping things moving. However, the ordering is done entirely through a tablet system mounted to the edge of the table. You handle all of the orders and modifications yourself on the screen. I usually tip between 20% and 22% when I go out, but it feels a bit high when there is so little server interaction. In this specific setup, the sushi chefs are clearly doing the bulk of the work. I really hope they are getting a generous tip out at the end of the day because the food they prepared was the highlight of the meal. It is a solid spot for sushi, but the service model and menu layout could be a little more transparent for first-time guests. I will definitely try it again and go there with more knowledge of their service structure.

This was honestly one of the nicer all-you-can-eat sushi spots we've been to, especially for the price. The quality of the fish really stood out compared to other AYCE places we've tried. Everything tasted fresh, and the sushi itself was well prepared instead of feeling rushed like it sometimes does at buffets. One of the highlights for me was the mussels & the rolls --they were absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. It was one of those dishes we kept going back for. The variety was great, the food kept coming out fresh, and the overall experience felt worth the price. The wait time wasn't bad--about 15 minutes--and you can easily sign up on the kiosk when you arrive. Ordering is done from a tablet at the table, which makes everything simple. Service was quick and friendly throughout. Overall, great quality for a reasonable price and we'd definitely come back. If you're looking for a reasonably priced AYCE sushi place with surprisingly good quality, this is definitely a spot I'd recommend. We really enjoyed our visit and would happily come back again.

Definitely my new go to AYCE sushi spot. I've been twice in the last couple of weeks and both times was just super impressed. I love the quality of the fish, the fish to rice ratio, the selection, the real/fresh wasabi, etc... If you like all you can eat sushi, trust me, this is the place.

great customer service here , we walked into the restaurant about an hour till closing and they said no more AYCE. We were numbed because that's what we came in for and they accommodated us and let us order from the AYCE menu which was super cool of them. the service was excellent everything came out in a timely manner it was cute Inside and I was pleased with the food. fish tasted fresh and well prepared... I loved he truffle salmon and spicy tuna crispy rice ... check them out !

I love this restaurant. We've brought so many people with us to enjoy their food and we won't stop! The staff is wonderful - Vivie, Igna, Indra and the rest of them - make it so hard to stay away. Their service is unparalleled. They are attentive without hovering and always, always treat us like family. The fish they use is obviously premium. Fresh and delicious. And it's priced so competitively so much so that it's replaced us going to Tokyo Central to buy sushi grade fish because going to Orange Fish is so much cheaper. Forget about Sugarfish - for the same price you can do the AYCE at Orange Fish instead! Glad to see that business is picking up. When we went today, we noticed that it was a full house by noon. Goes to show how people will show up for you if you provide them with excellent service and delicious food at reasonable prices.

Orange Fish in Pomona seriously impressed us. We came in for the AYCE and it was one of the most affordable AYCE options in the area and some of the best quality sushi we've had around here. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and each round came out with consistency. The fish had great texture, the rolls were put together well, and nothing felt rushed or sloppy. Serenity was our server and she really lived up to her name with the amount of peace she brought to our meal. Will definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I love sushi. He discovered this restaurant on Yelp and we decided to check them out. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we went on a Sunday night. We were seated right away and they asked if we wanted Ala Carte or AYCE. We opted for the AYCE option. Restaurant was clean, ambiance was nice and our food came out relatively quickly. Our server was also friendly. The one inconvenient thing was ordering off the iPad. I wish there was a way to bring it closer or even having a regular menu showing all the different options. Sometimes it's nice to be technologically advanced but it's also nice to have old school paper menus so you can skim your options quickly and identify which are limited items. We did notice a timer ticking on the iPad so it tells you when your two hours is up. And it also lets you order 35 items at a time or something of the sort. The wait between placing the next order isn't long, thankfully. We tried a variety of dishes. Our favorite is the nigiri. I love how they don't try to balloon you up with giant portions of rice. The fish to rice ratio was perfect. I do wish that the ikura rolls weren't so small, especially since they're a "limited" item (max two orders per person for AYCE). I also think they can cut back on the cream cheese in the Philadelphia roll. Otherwise, food is fire. My boyfriend and I left with full bellies.

Baked mussels, not overly sauced! And they serve it separated from the shell so you can pick the meat out easily

Ask the Community - Orange Fish

    Do you need reservations?

Nope! Walk ins are welcome :) but if you come during peak hours, be prepared to wait.

I've been to other Sushi restaurants where the music is overbearingly loud, does this place have loud music playing the entire time you're there?

No loud music. 🥰 The owners/management make sure that the music is audible but doesn't drown out conversation.

Its broth is rich, creamy, and savory. Every bite felt like heaven. (Important Note: Currently, there's a Yelp Check-In Promotion! Free Ice Cream, Soda, or Hot Tea for one in-person Check-In.) I arrived at Kaiba (La Verne) on Saturday (around 1:45PM). Parking is easy. The lot is spacious & big. Service felt professional, accommodating, and welcoming. My server (Jayden) worked hard. Jayden maintained a bright cheery demeanor; Jayden was very attentive & quickly assisted me; and Jayden always worked non-stop in the background. My food arrived around 6 minutes and 15 seconds. Very fast!! As mentioned, I found happiness in my meal. This Tonkotsu Ramen felt memorable and special. Its egg is silky, falling apart effortlessly as it hits the tongue. Its chasu is charred, tender, and thick. The broth is creamy and rich. And most importantly, the noodles are bountiful and springy. I felt all my stress seep away with each euphoric bite. In addition, the Gyoza tasted fresh and crisp. Its filling came juicy, and I reveled how each bite left a light crunch. And the Green Tea Ice Cream (Complimentary with Yelp Check-In Promotion) tasted chill, smooth, and refreshing. All in all, the value and quality of this meal felt unmatched. Concerning ambiance, Kaiba (La Verne) felt a little sporadic. It's clean, spacious, and well-ventilated. However, its appearance is a little ugly since folded plastic bags and boxes are sprawled outside in plain view. Still, I appreciated the food photos on the wall. Kaiba (La Verne) also has utility. I appreciated the flat screen TV; it plays the football game. Also, I observed a high-chair for kids, so this location is family friendly. The location also felt spacious with its high ceiling. Overall, I had a lovely, magical experience at Kaiba (La Verne). I am very excited that the hype is genuine. I left full and happy. If you love ramen, this is an easy recommendation. 5 out of 5. After you order then you can pick a seat, get your soda & wait for your order to be delivered by the guy who took the order in front. I can appreciate it didn't take to long to get everything! The apps we ordered came out first which were the pork gyozas & the spicy flame garlic edamame! Both delicious. I could eat that edamame on the daily, they didn't hold back on drenching the edamame with their special sauce which I absolutely loveeeeee since I'm a sauce girly lol so the more the better! Still dreaming of them (: Our ramens came out shortly after & they looked soooo delicious & spicy haha we both opted to get the pork flame! I love that they charred the pork! Flavorrrr! Everything was spot on! I do wish they just gave a full egg instead of half only. If ya want a full egg it's extra $$ Could have been a bit more runny as well (to my liking) But totally would come back. Good little spot on a nice cold night (:

We were seated quickly and taken back by how vibrant the interior was. We decided to order multiple plates and share so we ordered Dumpling Soup, Grilled Swai, Chicken Katsu Curry, and Garlic Noodles. Everything was so delicious but the Garlic Noodles were the star of the show for me. They weren't dry or oily, it was the perfect texture. They even brought us chili oil. We ended up getting Milky Buns for dessert which tasted like warm beignets. The prices also weren't bad at all for the amounts that we got. We also utilized the lunch special and happy hour so our portions were a bit smaller. Amazing service with friendly staff. Love this place and can't wait to be back.

6pm, Friday, September 19, 2025…read more It was hopping in downtown Claremont. My date had a certain place in mind though... House of Pong Asian Fusion. It was my first visit here but it won't be my last. I had already did my browsing of what's on the menu. I joined in on the crispy tofu for the appetizer and the crispy salmon skin salad. When we walked in it was busy. The Dodger game was on at the bar. There were maybe three open tables at most. We were seated at their small table against the wall. A cozy table for two. We were greeted by our friendly server, she brought the menus and ask us about drinks to start. I've water all around, haha. She came back with our water. Ooh, tasted like cucumber water... Refreshing. While my lady was deciding, I ordered: crispy tofu appetizer (presented in a small dish, about 10-12 pieces of hot, crispy cubes of golden tofu with a dipping sauce) and the salmon skin salad for my entree. The salad was an ample sized serving to share between the two of us. The salmon skin was julienned and were crispy little clumps like miniature fishy hash browns. Very crispy and tasty salad that included sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and scallions on mixed greens. My date ordered the charshu ramen. We shared our plates. The ramen was very tasty. The noodles had a good chew, not over cooked. Mmm, that was delicious. The robotic server was kitchy and cute. Maybe it does assist them with delivering plates to the table but the human server was observed transferring them from the bot to the table. For our table, we had our food delivered in stages not at the same time. The crispy tofu arrived first, then the ramen, and several minutes later came the salmon skin salad. Not a deal breaker but noticed. Food was good. Service was okay, could be better.

I ordered the spicy miso and a crunchy roll, both were delicious! The spicy miso is on the spicy side, but for me it was perfect! Overall we all had the best experience and will be visiting again. It was such a cute place and we really loved the lowkey vibes and decor of the restaurant.

Finally tried this ramen spot and it's definitely going in our rotation…read more The place is clean, bright, has a few indoor tables, good for small groups. We were seated right away. Menu is small but I prefer it that way. We opted for a Tonkatsu Ramen, a Spicy Miso Ramen, and a roll (sorry, I can't remember the name of the roll). Tonkatsu Ramen: classic ramen. Delicious. Broth was flavorful. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Spicy Miso Ramen: definitely not too spicy. Broth was good. Noodles were good. Toppings were plentiful. I really liked the way the egg was cooked. Really enjoyed this ramen but I think next time I'll get the non spicy version to really taste the broth. Roll: This was a really delicious roll. It had shrimp, benito flakes, maybe an eel sauce(?). It was a great roll. A good sized roll, perfect for sharing. Overall, this was a great spot for ramen. Left satisfied and full. Service could be friendlier but definitely not a deal breaker. Definitely worth checking out.
