Oh my gosh, where do I start, We were seated right away, I'm surprised this place wasn't more packed because the ambiance was so nice. The service was lovely. The chef even answered a question about one of the rolls that we had. We ordered maybe 4 to 5 rolls of sushi. One of them was no rice. It was the cucumber roll. The baked lobster roll was amazing that cucumber no rice roll was amazing I think I also got a spider roll. The one with the fried pieces on top presentation was beautiful, not my favorite sushi roll, but it was good nonetheless. So good that we will definitely be coming back again to try different rolls and definitely buy the baked lobster roll again. The glass noodles in the picture I believe my boyfriend that had beef in it super super yummy. We were given complementary miso soup at the beginning and complementary green tea ice cream at the end, which was so sweet. My dad was so happy with the food and service. He was taking out most dollar bills to give a tip in every tip jar he saw here lol We will definitely be coming here again. My boyfriend was right once I came to try this place. I will not want to go to any other sushi place again lol I just liked everything about this place. Oh, and the strawberry rice wine was really good. My dad also got this tea that they brought out in a really cute expensive tea pot. Can't wait to go again and I'm so excited to take my son with me so he can try the sushi. Great sushi spot in Upland. It's in a small shopping complex. There's a lot of parking and it was easy to find. The workers were very nice. We were seated right away and there was plenty of space for a week night. They offer complimentary miso soup. We ordered 2 rolls, tempura and a couple of pieces of sushi. Before heading over to Barcuso for our friend's gig, we stopped by Ha Sushi in Upland for a Friday night dinner. The restaurant has a quaint, welcoming vibe--a blend of Japanese-Korean with K-pop playing on the TV screen and sppeakers. While the staff--shout out to Andrew--was incredibly friendly and attentive, even offering helpful suggestions and a delicious complimentary green tea ice cream, the sushi itself brought the experience down to a 3-star rating. The hamachi was a high point, but the Rainbow roll felt "mid"; the value is decent, but the quality definitely has room to iterate to success. Since we don't find ourselves in Upland often, we likely won't return for sushi, especially given the higher-quality options we're used to back in Los Angeles. read more

The waitress was very welcoming and immediately seated our party of 9. We ordered quite a few dishes to share. The vegetable tempura was crispy and hot. Delicious. I was looking forward to the Yellowtail lovers roll. At first I was a bit wary of the onion, but it added to the overall flavor and worked well to balance the yellowtail without overpowering it. The Tteokboki was good and helped to switch out the flavors between the sushi rolls. I would also recommend the sashimi set. The presentation was very visually pleasing and the slices were nice and thick! This use to be Sato sushi. It has been renovated and the name has changed (I think the owner changed), but the sushi is still delicious. I love the golden tiger roll.
