Stopped by on a weekday evening and there was no line. The food took around 10-15 minutes after ordering. The restaurant was very lowkey and located in a shared plaza with plenty of parking. It's definitely more of a takeout spot, but they do have a few tables and chairs in the corner. They also sell a small selection of Japanese grocery items inside. I ordered the Hokkaido Bowl, which came with Japanese scallops, ikura, three pieces of salmon, three pieces of seared salmon, imitation crab, blue crab, masago, and cucumber. The wait was definitely worth it. All the ingredients were very fresh, and the sushi rice was prepared well. The portion was generous and filling without being too much and I really enjoyed the variety of fish in the bowl. Each piece had clean flavors and perfect texture. The Spicy Tuna Shrimp Tempura roll was a standout: crispy, flavorful, and the perfect pairing. This was recommended by the waitress on the phone as I ordered since the Blue Crab Shrimp Tempura was already sold out. When I arrived to pick up, there were 4-5 other parties all picking up but the progress was quick and smooth. Inside is a small, but clean place. They already had our order of 46 pcs sashimi platter prepared by 12 pm when they opened. You can order the day in advance and let them know when you want to pick it up. The lady behind the counter is so friendly and nice getting our orders. After I saw the medium size order, I decided to add more, and we ordered 1 Hokkaido bowl, and 1 salmon set to go as well. We were told it would take about 30 mins to prepare, but that was okay because we went to get something and came back. We put our orders in an insulated bag on the drive home because it was so hot outside. The sashimi was oh so delicious! With each piece, I savored the freshness, closed my eyes and it brought me back to the fish we ate in Japan. We shared the platter with my family. I ordered the additional salmon set for myself because I love salmon! With the five pieces for this dish, again, perfection!
