I stopped by since I was in the area. I have to say it was good. I got the 911 roll and shrimp tempura. The tempura was freshly made and delicious. The roll also was good. The place is a little outdated in the decor. But the service is great. I do recommend this place.

Customer service is spot . We had the Baked Crawfish and soft shell crab. Portion is on the smaller side , I'd need a second or third round to get full, but the flavor is pretty good. My daughter ordered asparagus tempura roll and then ordered Washington roll because the tempura roll was very small. She loved the flavor

Surprisingly this was my first time trying this sushi spot, even though I've lived in Upland for forever! Tried the Cajun Tuna roll & the House roll, both were fantastic! My only complaint was it was a little pricey, but I think thats everywhere these day. The total for both of these rolls was $36. Would go again when feelin like a baller!

Their sushi is fresh and never too much rice which is a good sign. My fiancé normally gets the chicken bento box. She has a shell fish allergy and to this day, has not had an allergic reaction. Awesome. The veggie tempura is always a go to. Good size pieces with just enough batter. I normally go for the specialty rolls. My favorite is the Fire Station Roll. Man that lime vinaigrette is something else. This time around I tried the Candy Roll which was also good. Good little kick from the wasabi mayonnaise. I'll be back.

The half the time I was there an employee was sitting in the booth next to where they stage the pick up orders on her phone. I get she was probably on break, but that's poor form. Take your break in the back, or outside the restaurant. Not in the dining room right next to customers. The food portions have gotten smaller while the price goes up; I get it that the economy sucks, but I don't think you have to do both. The last 2 times we have eaten there, once to go and once to dine in, the rolls are so poorly constructed they fall apart as soon as you touch them and the rice sticks to the plate. When I'm spending more than $100 to feed my family and then the care isn't even taken to adhere to a high standard, why am I not just buying my sushi from the grocery store?

We started with the ika gesso (calamari) and the Seoul chicken wings and both were great! I need an exact clone of it too, along with all the workers, because that was some of the best food service I've had in my life. My partner ordered the mala and it was so flavorful that I initially thought I made a mistake mixing my broth. After a couple more spoons of his I realized I made the right choice. I would've melted from within otherwise. The intensity of the mala builds and builds-you have been warned! The shaved ice is also a must. At first I didn't think I'd get an order of it, but they served a mini portion after the meal and I had to have more. Unfortunately, GT and BT jellies are no longer being offered, so I opted for other toppings and was not disappointed. Mango, strawberry and guava syrups with boba, lychee and passionfruit jam cured me of something. Not entirely sure what but I'm convinced either way. Appreciated the strong a/c on a 90 something degree day, as well as how clean everything was. When I'm in the area again I'll definitely be back!

We were actually on our way to another sushi restaurant when my husband spotted this little hidden sushi spot and suggested we give it a try. I'm SO glad we did! Most of what we ordered came from the premium menu, but we also mixed in a generous amount of nigiri from the standard menu. I'm a sucker for high-quality bluefin tuna and fresh yellowtail (hamachi), and they offered both in a variety of preparations. Everything tasted fresh, well-portioned, and beautifully presented. I've had my fair share of AYCE sushi throughout the Inland Empire, Orange County, and Los Angeles, and this is easily one of the best AYCE sushi experiences I've had--if not the best. There will always be a distinction between AYCE sushi and higher-end omakase restaurants, but The Parlor does an impressive job of narrowing that gap. A huge bonus for me was that, upon request, they served fresh chopped wasabi instead of the typical wasabi paste. That's a major plus in my book and something you don't often find at AYCE restaurants. My only minor criticism was the noticeable wait between each round of sushi orders. It wasn't enough to take away from the experience, but a faster turnaround would make an already great dining experience even better. That said, the staff was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The restaurant also has plenty of seating, TVs for watching sporting events, a sizable sushi bar, and a good selection of drinks. I'll definitely be back, and if you're looking for one of the best AYCE sushi spots in the area, I highly recommend giving The Parlor a try.
