    Nigiri Sushi
    Angel H.

Hostess and her husband are very attentive and do a great job making you feel welcomed. They answer all of your questions especially regarding any recommendations based on your tastes. The sushi was immaculate and tasty. Recommendations are the garlic edamame, nigiri rolls, crunchy dragon roll, , simple salmon, and agua chile roll. They had upbeat music playing in the background and really cool murals throughout the restaurant so the ambiance was chill and pretty cool. Everything was clean especially the restrooms Overall, an amazing experience. Would recommend especially during the lunch special

This is the garlic edamame. A great snack/appetizer.

Really good food and rolls! I came out comfortably full from the spicy crunch roll. It was great. The ceviche, well it lacks lemon, lime, and some flavor. The place has good ideas and potential but the ceviche and garlic shrimp plates were lacking flavor. Back to me now. The service was great. Nice and quick. Respectful and kind. The ambience was a nice, background music stereotype kind of place. Overall, it was great. -a 10 year old and his mom.

Oh my gosh this place was sooo good John was our waiter he was attentive and nice paid attention to details was very informative. This was my first time ordering sushi like this it was delicious. Definitely, we'll be coming back. The atmosphere was calm music playing in the background. Not too loud.Where we could still have conversations. We ordered a lot of different rolls. But my favorite was the Berryade it had mango, avocado, cucumber, tuna, salmon, lemon and strawberry. It was so pretty, but also good. We had so many appetizers.I recommend them all.We had a little bit of everything we ate in between three people.

Dined in on 4/18/2025. We had all you can eat with a great over all experience. Restaurant very clean, very fresh sushi, attentive service, and great ambience music. (Also, child friendly with high chairs. We ordered a side of crab meat for our one year only).

3.7The inside is open and spacious with counter top seating, booth and table seating. We were seated right away, which was nice, but that's where the urgency ended. It was steady, not busy, but it took forever to get our food. There were only 2 persons working behind the bar making the rolls, which didn't help. The owner, or who I am assuming was the owner, seemed upset that they were behind, but I also noticed that he was not the friendliest with my table compared to others. Our server said that it takes longer with AYCE, which only my husband got, but other than that there was not even an apology or a check in with us. The fish was fresh and average priced. The vibe was cool, but with all the sushi options around, and due to the wait, I probably won't be back for awhile.

Sashi Salmon and Yellowtail. Delicious miso soup!

The sushi here is delicious! It is AYCE for both adult and kids and the price is reasonable. I love the seared salmon with lemon pepper. It is a must when you come here. Their service is awesome they are fast and friendly. Although, it is somewhat new it does get busy. It has a nice decor with a mix of typical sushi style and some murals have Mexican painting. They also offer some mexican/sushi fusion rolls for those that like that. Support local restaurants!

Service was great! Our waitress was so nice and friendly. Definitely helpful when ordering. Hilariously we got full so fast we could only do one round but we ordered A LOT. (More than pictured.) You can order up to three rounds. You can get basic for $38, premium is $45. Lots of great food options. They don't use a lot of rice in the nigiri which is amazing. We'll be back!

    Aguachile roll

Great service with Armando ! Been here 3 times already and the service is always great. Food is a 10/10 Aguachile roll is a must.

This place was pretty good. The service was quick. There are lots of options on the menu & there's also the option to get all you can eat for $38 per person. We decided to get our sushi options, and they were quick to come out. My fav roll was the Samurai roll -- with the seared salmon, tuna, shrimp, it was delish. My second fav was the spider roll & the pieces of seared cajun / lemon pepper salmon nigiri; they were amazing. Would recommend checking this place out

We absolutely love coming to The Parlor Sushi This is our go to sushi spot .. every single time we come here this service is amazing and the ambience is fantastic. The staff definitely goes above and beyond for our family. We have brought friends and family to try the new menu and did a business Spotlight to share our favorites with all of our clients. Shout out to our waitress Chanel & Charlie , they were awesome tonight #TopRequestedAgent Thank you Moses for opening an awesome spot my husband and I love it here.

    Tuna Crispy Rice

Anyone who knows me knows I could live off sushi -- but only if it's the best sushi. I've been eating sushi since I was about 5 years old, so I'm EXTREMELY picky about where I go. I'm even more skeptical when a sushi restaurant isn't anywhere near the ocean. I've eaten sushi all over California and in plenty of coastal cities in other states, so I don't hand out compliments lightly. On 2/12/26, I happened to notice Parlor Sushi across the street while packing up my car. My first thought was honestly, "Hmm... interesting place for a sushi spot..." and I almost ignored it. But curiosity (and hunger) got the best of me, so I looked them up on Google/Yelp and saw the high ratings. I spent about five minutes checking out the menu, which offered both a regular menu and an all-you-can-eat option. I usually skip all-you-can-eat and prefer ordering from the regular menu. At the very last second, I decided to take a chance and placed a pickup order. I ordered the Charra Roll, Tuna Crispy Rice, Salmon Sashimi, and Tuna Sashimi -- and WOW. We didn't even make it home before opening the bag and eating it right there in the car. The "Charra Roll" was incredibly fresh and seriously spicy in the best way! If you love heat, this roll will light you up. Spicy crab, jalapeños, cilantro, seared salmon, avocado, and red onion -- packed with flavor! The "Tuna Crispy Rice" is one of those dishes restaurants either nail or completely miss. Parlor Sushi absolutely nailed it. Perfect texture and flavor. The "sashimi" was excellent -- beautiful cuts and very fresh! We finished every single bite in the parking lot. I was so impressed I actually went back inside just to tell the hostess how much we enjoyed it. She was incredibly kind, and I told her that even though we live near Palm Springs, we'd definitely be back. I'm not sure she believed we'd return -- or at least not so soon -- but we went back the very next day! This time I ordered the same items again, plus the Sakura Roll and Chicken Teriyaki/Chicken Katsu. That's when I had the chance to meet the owner, Moises, who was very personable, welcoming, and appreciative. The hostess was genuinely excited to see me back, which felt really great and says a lot about the kind of hospitality here. I let Moises know we were about to head out of town but promised that once we returned, we'd be back again. And we definitely will be. It takes a lot to impress someone as picky about sushi as I am, but Parlor Sushi did it two days in a row. If you're in the area craving sushi and debating where to go -- stop thinking about it and go here.

I was so excited to find this local hidden gem in Montclair! The Parlor Sushi is a whole in the wall fusion-style sushi place that offers both a la carte and all you can eat. The prices here were super reasonable and the fish quality was great. I would probably pass on the miso next time, but the edamame was great. All of the rolls we tried were yummy. We tried the geisha, in & out tuna, lion fish, pepino, and devil rolls. Our waitress was super sweet and even other waiters came around and brought us more to drink and such. I will be back!!

Food, customer service and ambience was on point. As a local here I'm impressed and will be back. I have friends and family in LA that will love this local gem. And big shout out to John for making our family dinner experience joyful. Oh can't forget they have the dodger games here and experienced a walk off win here.

I was on a solo date with moi. Love to dine with self always! Staff was very welcoming upon entry. Service was top-notch throughout the evening. I went all out on my dining experience. I couldn't resist, but to order the best sushi rolls, sushi + ramen bowls, and iced green tea. Let's just say I was hungry LOL. Everything was amazing! Seaweed salad was the best I've ever had. Between the two sushi rolls, I enjoyed the Carribean Roll more. I think it was the sweet onion that put it over the top. TASTY! Chirashi Bowl had fresh fishes in good cuts. YUM! Ramen Bowl had savory broth and tender chashu pork with all my favorite toppings. DELISH! Refreshing Iced Green Tea was in a large glass. YAY! I dined liked a queen. I would do it again. Of course, I had to pack the leftovers to-go plus order some to-go for my daughters. Overall dining experience was wonderful. Definitely would come back again. 6pm, Friday, September 19, 2025…read more It was hopping in downtown Claremont. My date had a certain place in mind though... House of Pong Asian Fusion. It was my first visit here but it won't be my last. I had already did my browsing of what's on the menu. I joined in on the crispy tofu for the appetizer and the crispy salmon skin salad. When we walked in it was busy. The Dodger game was on at the bar. There were maybe three open tables at most. We were seated at their small table against the wall. A cozy table for two. We were greeted by our friendly server, she brought the menus and ask us about drinks to start. I've water all around, haha. She came back with our water. Ooh, tasted like cucumber water... Refreshing. While my lady was deciding, I ordered: crispy tofu appetizer (presented in a small dish, about 10-12 pieces of hot, crispy cubes of golden tofu with a dipping sauce) and the salmon skin salad for my entree. The salad was an ample sized serving to share between the two of us. The salmon skin was julienned and were crispy little clumps like miniature fishy hash browns. Very crispy and tasty salad that included sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and scallions on mixed greens. My date ordered the charshu ramen. We shared our plates. The ramen was very tasty. The noodles had a good chew, not over cooked. Mmm, that was delicious. The robotic server was kitchy and cute. Maybe it does assist them with delivering plates to the table but the human server was observed transferring them from the bot to the table. For our table, we had our food delivered in stages not at the same time. The crispy tofu arrived first, then the ramen, and several minutes later came the salmon skin salad. Not a deal breaker but noticed. Food was good. Service was okay, could be better.
