My first time here and won't be the last! Pricing is very affordable for sushi AYCE and service was great! The server was attentive and empty plates were taken away quickly AND water was filled without asking. They were busy on a Friday evening but that didn't stop them from providing good service and bringing out the food quickly. Sushi was pretty fresh but they didn't have a wide variety of the nigiri. I really liked the agua chilli twist and all the appetizers. And the fish to rice ratio was on point. I'll definitely come back to try other dishes.
I think I may have come to this location about 14-15 years ago when it was a different sushi restaurant. Being that it's on Route 66, this spot is vaguely familiar. The seating is okay, the AC absolutely needs to be running, and order timing should be refined. It says under new management and the cracks are showing. Victor was friendly and helpful. The staff was cool and they had a variety of rolls to choose from. I enjoyed the Tuna and Albacore Carpaccios with chili crunch, but you can only order 1 each per person and they arrive with 4, not 5 pieces as the menu states. I was feeling somewhat basic, so the Firecracker Roll was my favorite. However, I'd return for Mexican Ramen and all the Mexican Sushi.
I'll just get straight to the point, the sushi was good and some were delicious. The service was solid, not too bad, and nothing great, it was just right. The bad things about this place is, the wait, and the wait for the food, if it is busy, which it almost always is. It's a good place for sushi nonetheless.

Social media brought us in, but we were definitely thrilled to have stopped by. My husband and I love sushi and we're all about trying a new, local AYCE spot. Sushi Takumi had great service, a clean and comfortable establishment, and good sushi. We came in on a weekend for lunch and they were extremely busy. Despite the chaos, the excellent service didn't waiver and the food came out within a reasonable amount of time between rounds. Sushi Takumi is located in a strip mall with plenty of free parking shared among the surrounding businesses. There is ample seating inside with plenty of staff to keep things moving efficiently. We were pleased with the variety of items they had on their menu, especially in terms of sushi. Some of our favorite items included the Strawberry Cheesecake roll (always love mango in my sushi) and the Seared Salmon sushi. To be honest, the sushi was really good. The kitchen items, however, were hit and miss. The Korean Fried Chicken with accompanying sauce was tasty. The pork belly left a lot to be desired as it was overcooked and dry. We agreed that we would likely skip out on any kitchen items next time we stop by. Sushi Takumi was priced right with a product that, more than justified what we ate. We would definitely visit again as we just scratched the surface with their extensive menu. Looking forward to returning soon.
Saw a reel on Instagram last night and haaaaad to come try this place out. My friend and I have been craving sushi and this place def hit the spot!! The fish to rice ratio is the best I've seen at an AYCE. They have a sauce bar with ginger and wasabi as well. Parking was plentiful and the location was easy to find. The service here is top notch, thank you Aiden. You scan a QR code and order on your phone. The food comes in batches. It's a nice spot to catch up with friends and get some yummies.
I saw them on Instagram and knew I had to try it. They had a $25 all-you-can-eat deal, which is pretty rare these days. The catch is, it was only available during the first two weeks of June. The drive was a bit far, but totally worth it. I did a ton of nigiri, one roll, some fried dishes, and sashimi. The service was great, friendly and attentive. I got there around 5 pm, and by 6, the place was starting to get busy. They have some rules for AYCE, but I really liked that you could scan your items, and they went straight to the sushi chefs or kitchen. Super efficient, you don't need to call over the server unless you want to. The only real disappointment was the roll- terrible, honestly. The rice was warm and heavy, not fluffy or seasoned like it should be, so we just skipped more rolls. The portions were generous, giving us the chance to order and try a ton of different things. Overall, a solid spot if you catch the deal! Skip the rolls Get Nigiri Fried foods and Apps are a YES
Never been to the old Sushi Takumi but can say that this one is fantastic! We've tried most AYCE in the area & this one takes the cake for sure. Lunch price everyday (not just weekdays!) is $30, dinner is $35, so solid value. Staff is very kind & attentive, & everything came out quickly. We did 3 rounds & were in & out within an hour. Vibe is casual & they have a build your own sauce bar. Fish quality is solid & cuts are thick (esp the salmon). Fish to rice ratio is excellent! The KBBQ meats were also great & well-marinated. Faves were the spicy pork, the entire seared sushi portion of the menu, & anything involving salmon (thick cuts, very fresh & buttery).
Pretty good AYCE. I think it's better under the new management. I was disappointed there was no mackerel on the menu; Mackerel is always my go-to. I didn't love the place but it's a good option for AYCE.
Rori took care of us really well. I would highly encourage to get the all you can eat. It has an amazing choices. The ambiance is absolutely worth it.

I've been coming to this place many times, and I finally got a chance to write a review. I have to say, this place is really good! From the food and prices to the service, everything has been great. I've always had a good experience here. The only small complaint I have is about the amount of sauce/toppings on some of the sushi dishes. Some rolls have the perfect amount, while others can be a little too heavy on the sauce. It would be nice if they gave customers the option to choose whether they want sauce/toppings added, or how much they'd like. Other than that, I really enjoy coming here and would definitely recommend AYCE sushi. read more

Sushi Takumi is under new ownership, and we had such a great experience! The staff was really friendly and attentive, and everything was great from the moment we walked in. I really liked that they have a self-serve sauce bar, which is such a nice touch . They also have some Mexican-inspired sushi, which was a fun and unique addition to the menu. My husband and I came on a Saturday night and didn't have to wait at all. We were seated right away and were able to order everything we wanted without any issues. We both give this place a 10/10! Definitely a must-go if you're looking for good sushi and great service. We'll definitely be back! read more

I always enjoy coming here. Food is great with small rice portions vs fish ratio on the sushi. Service is always great. Victor and Jacob took care of my group today and we came in before the dinner rush as a party of 10. We were seated in 15 minutes. We always drive in from Pasadena to enjoy our dinner here. I tried this place one night to just try something new and different. And it's definitely different, but in the best way! The food is Japanese and Mexican fusion food. So everything you could get at a regular sushi place but you could ask for a twist. The AYCE was definitely worth it and everything came out in perfect portions and service was really quick. Inside was pretty packed but something I'd never seen before in an establishment like this was the sauce bar! It was a serve yourself and unlimited sauce bar. Had been wanting to come here for months and we're so happy we finally made it out. We went at 5pm so it wasn't too busy yet. The menu is so big that there's two of them and the all you can eat options is almost their entire selection. They have a dressings bar so you can help yourself to your favorites. Came here for my Dads Birthday on a Monday afternoon during their June $25 AYCE promotion to celebrate and it was so worth it! I'll be honest, layout wise it's very tight and a little difficult to move around but they make it work :) Sonia was our waitress and she was helpful to the T. It was our first time here so she efficiently explained to us how the AYCE worked and let us her to work. The sushi was delicious! Every single item we ordered came pretty fast and tasted great Sonia diligently kept an eye on us to make sure we were content with our dining experience. Our family of 5 was delighted with the service, food, and vibe. We will definitely be back again! read more
Came to check this place out cause I found it on IG, they have a new ownership and now does Mexican/latin fusion sushi. I've never been here before so I can't speak to what it was like previously but... It was pretty packed on a Friday night. The fish was so fresh and sooooo good. Our server James was super helpful and explained the menu to us. He was attentive, friendly and kind. As for the ambiance it was pretty chill, I like the vibes. Really good sushi actually, pro tip to order all the exclusive (you can only order 1 per person foods) FIRST. Get your moneys worth and the best stuff out of the way then work your way down to the other sushis. Everything we tried was really really good. I would definitely come back! Sushi Takumi is seriously one of the best AYCE sushi spots I've been to. The aguachile rolls are SO good and the fusion nigiri was honestly my favorite part. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful. I also loved that you can order online from the table so the food just keeps coming and it makes everything way easier. NEW FAVORITE SUSHI SPOT!! I thought their take out was great but I decided to try it out in person and let me tell YOUUU it's even better!! I've gone to many different AYCE restaurants but this one has the flavor. Everything tasted so fresh and unique. AYCE included even the Japanese meats, soups, and carpaccio!!! the rice to fish ratio was the highlight of our meal. Shey was our server from the moment she greeted us at the door to til the end of our meal--she was great and probably even made our experience better. If you come, ask for Shey!! This has quickly become one of my favorite sushi spots! The fish is always incredibly fresh, the rolls are beautifully prepared, and everything I've tried has been delicious. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and always makes me feel appreciated as a customer. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the service is consistently excellent. Whether I'm dining in or ordering takeout, the quality is always outstanding. It's hard to find a place that's this consistent, and they've definitely earned my loyalty. Thank the gods above that I came across this restaurant on TikTok because it's definitely a favorite now. My partner and I came in today and were impressed with everything! The staff were so attentive and helpful. The space itself was very nice. There's a station that offers different sauces which was neat. We did AYCE and did not regret it. The takoyaki pieces were cooked beautifully and tasted great. The mussels weren't piping hot and tasted amazing. The nigiri had the perfect fish:rice ratio. But, our absolute favorite item was the Mango Salmon Roll. The sweetness of the mango amplified the flavor of the salmon and pice do gallo. I wish we had ordered a few rolls to go - lol. The Aguachile Yellowtail Roll was a second favorite too. The only downside is that the seating is a little cramped and no dessert, but honestly, that won't deter us from coming back. Went here to get sushi uave been coming here for years. Had about 40 min wait which was expected. Staff was fantastic place was crowded and you can barely walk through isles. Place is very clean. Order was taken fast. We ordered 4 cut rolls. The fillings and toppings were excellent! The rice on the other hand was mushy, the first two rolls were mushy but second two rolls were really bad mushy. The food is normally so good here just the rice was the only negative. Not sure if i will be going back. read more

Probably some of the best AYCE sushi within a 30 mile radius. There was another go to place I had in Rancho for AYCE but this is officially my new favorite place. I don't even really want to leave a review because that just means I have to wait in line longer to eat. The Mexican fusion sushi is amazing. You have to get the Carpaccio and try all of them. Everything was just really good and Mia was our server and she did an amazing job and was super attentive. Also get there early because there will be a wait. read more
Under new ownership- So I like the openness of it now BUT the tables are so close together I feel like I'm gonna dip my elbow into someone's dish walking by and you have to turn sideways and suck it in and I'm not that big. They need about 5 more inches apart. The food- I love the AYCE had nearly Everything on the menu. It's also cheaper than before. And the sauce station js cool. That being said- they are heavy handed with the Mexican flare. The fresh jalapeños and cilantro are slathered on almost everything. The spicy cucumber salad was decent but the cucumbers weren't really Crisp but were soggy. The rolls all seem to be a majority cream cheese and crabmeat with little variety. I stuck more to the basic individual sushi pieces (tuna, yellow tai, etc). Those were fine. They got rid of the old wonton poppers the old owners had. We're pretty sad about that. Those were a huge staple and the chicken teriyaki. But like I they do have other stuff the previous didn't have. You win some and you lose some. Service was good and it was packed. I'll have to try it a again another time and see if my review improves. I hope it does. read more

Our prices are Monday-Friday 11:30am-2:30pm all you can eat is $22.99 before tax and after 2:30pm it’s $26.99 before tax. Saturday, Sunday and Holidays it’s $26.99 all day.
