Sunrise roll, crab lover roll and a spicy tuna roll

Mark L.

This is our favorite late night spot in the area. The service is always really quick and everyone there is super welcoming and friendly! The vibes are great and the happy hour drink specials are a nice surprise given how pricy some of the bars have gotten in Upland. The menu has a lot of variety and perfect if you have people in your party who aren't the biggest fans of seafood, but the sushi is top notch and fresh. We got 2 specialty rolls and a basic spicy tuna roll for $44 and were pretty full at the end. All of the seafood is fresh, clean and delicious! Definitely gonna try some of the Korean food here next too

This was a pickup order at 11pm and I was very impressed at how fresh the sushi was and how clean this place was. Very well lit I might add (see picture). Also the portion size of the rolls were pretty large, bigger than I'm use to. So worth the price. I got a rainbow roll and a California roll. Very delicious and hit the spot for a Friday night in with my whisky. Overall great random find because they were open late. Definitely be back

Pink Lady roll, and miso soup in the background... the camera did not eat first.

My girlfriend and I LOVE the Sushi rolls! The Pink Lady is our favorite roll... and the miso soup is pretty good too (I believe it's complimentary, sometimes you have to ask for it). I am very familar with Sinaloa style sushi, and my girlfriend has been to Japan and knows what good sushi rolls are... we both love this place. Nisa has been our server every time we've been here and she's very attentive and k

this place displays inaccurate hours of operation. Upon arrival at 12:22 they mentioned that they no longer serve yet they're hours in the front stated one please see picture displayed below. We spent $50 to get here from a lift and now we had to lift somewhere else and spend an additional $50 due to them not accommodating us yet. The hours stated differently. horrible customer service. Do not recommend this place to anybody.

Great sushi spot in Upland. It's in a small shopping complex. There's a lot of parking and it was easy to find. The workers were very nice. We were seated right away and there was plenty of space for a week night. They offer complimentary miso soup. We ordered 2 rolls, tempura and a couple of pieces of sushi. Everything tasted good and fresh. They wrapped up the night with complimentary ice cream. A nice little spot in the Upland area!

Yellowtail Sushi, 8 Piece Baseline Roll, Sunrise

Stephanie L.

Very friendly service from the staff! The interior is decorated very cute and dim lit. The nigiri is sold in 3pcs per order. We tried the yellowtail nigiri which was cut to generously thick pieces. Rolls are also very good and they also had rice-less rolls which we tried. They offer complimentary miso soup and ice cream which was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately have to knock down a star because there was a bone in the salmon on top of the roll.

5 Piece Tim was very delicious...little sweet and spicy.

We're so excited to share our first experience at this restaurant! We drove 1/2 hours to get there, and it was definitely worth it. My mom went with the sashimi combo lunch, and wow, they packed a ton for just $18. The chirashi plate was another steal--it came with uni, which was a delightful surprise at $28. I absolutely loved my Crazy Salmon (seared salmon). The Yellowtail Lover was okay, though. What really made our lunch special was the chef's generous "Tim" (no rice roll) that we got for free. It was absolutely delicious. Right now, it's tough to find a sushi spot that offers both amazing portions and fantastic service. We're definitely planning to return!

This place is going to have a weird rating. I'm rating it a 5 as a late night local sushi option. The service was friendly and endearing. The food was solid if not spectacular. The hours of operation are what gives it the high rating. After 10om, there is nothing open around here. If I ate here before 10, it would be a 3.5. I will be back for a late night snack. Great people working there regardless of the time.

Oh my gosh, where do I start, We were seated right away, I'm surprised this place wasn't more packed because the ambiance was so nice. The service was lovely. The chef even answered a question about one of the rolls that we had. We ordered maybe 4 to 5 rolls of sushi. One of them was no rice. It was the cucumber roll. The baked lobster roll was amazing that cucumber no rice roll was amazing I think I also got a spider roll. The one with the fried pieces on top presentation was beautiful, not my favorite sushi roll, but it was good nonetheless. So good that we will definitely be coming back again to try different rolls and definitely buy the baked lobster roll again. The glass noodles in the picture I believe my boyfriend that had beef in it super super yummy. We were given complementary miso soup at the beginning and complementary green tea ice cream at the end, which was so sweet. My dad was so happy with the food and service. He was taking out most dollar bills to give a tip in every tip jar he saw here lol We will definitely be coming here again. My boyfriend was right once I came to try this place. I will not want to go to any other sushi place again lol I just liked everything about this place. Oh, and the strawberry rice wine was really good. My dad also got this tea that they brought out in a really cute expensive tea pot. Can't wait to go again and I'm so excited to take my son with me so he can try the sushi. Also, he's going to love it thank you guys so much! Can't wait to go back and become regulars. only a 25 min drive away, woo Hope the pictures help everyone choose this little spot- oh also! Ps- ask for cream cheese in sushi or on the side- sooo yummy! And their wasabi and ginger was amazing real wasabi! Not fake horse radish! Thank you guys!

Kat N.

Came on a Saturday off lunch hours around 2pm. Seated right away. Service was very good since there was only one other table. Owners were super nice and gave us several complimentary items because we ordered a lot of food. Everything was really good and sushi was very fresh. I especially enjoyed the seared escolar and seared salmon and thick cut yellowtail sashimi. The Korean tofu soup and boiled pork (bossam) were average. I would stick their sushi items.

Wanted to eat something close to work, discovered this place and saw they have both sushi and Korean food. They offered complimentary miso soup and it was good. I got the octopus karaage, good portion and delicious would get it again. Also tried the salmon lover roll, also pretty good! Would come back again to try the other rolls. At the end they offered free ice cream scoop, green tea is always a great choice. The service was also great. Restaurant was also cozy and comfortable. I recommend trying this place out! read more

I was craving sushi and korean food. I usually drive down to San Dimas for sushi and Chino Hills for korean food. Today I decided to try something closer in hopes of finding a place I can eat without having to drive 20-30 min. Today.. I found it! This place opened 3 weeks ago and the food was AMAZING! We ordered a washington roll, Dragon roll and hot stone mixed rice with beef.. soooooo good!! Food is so fresh and so delicious. The location is clean and love the K-Pop background music. Everyone working was so nice and pleasant and happy to answer any question. The meal ended with the creamiest green tea ice cream. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND WILL DEFINATELY BE BACK .. like.. next week.. bring your friends and kpop demon lover fans here for fooding, it will not disappoint. Specialties

Ha Sushi offers a thoughtful blend of Japanese sushi and Korean comfort dishes in one place, designed for guests who want both familiarity and variety without sacrificing quality. Our menu balances traditional sushi rolls with well-loved Korean dishes, making it easy for groups with different tastes to enjoy a meal together. What truly sets us apart is our approachability. We focus on generous portions, clear flavors, and a casual, welcoming atmosphere rather than an overly formal dining experience. We also stay open later than many nearby restaurants, making Ha Sushi a reliable spot for dinner, late-night meals, or a relaxed gathering after a long day. Ha Sushi is not about being trendy or experimental—it’s about doing the basics well, being consistent, and creating a place people feel comfortable coming back to.

Two years later, Kazama has become our go to sushi spot. My wife and I have been back more times than I can count and it's one of those places where we already know we're going to leave happy. The sushi is consistently fresh and delicious, the sauces are amazing, and the spicy garlic edamame is STILL one of my favorites. We've tried plenty of different rolls since that first visit and have found quite a few favorites along the way. The service has also continued to be friendly and welcoming every time we come in. We love the hole in the wall vibes this spot gives. I always think the best compliment you can give a restaurant is becoming a regular. We said we found our new favorite spot two years ago and Kazama has definitely earned that title. Still an easy 5 stars from us!

This sushi place has plenty of lunch specials and things to offer as well as an extensive menu. The menu can be seen by scanning the QR code on the table. Our server was attentive and helped us order. Due to time we ordered a couple of the lunch items. We got the tempura plate that comes with a shrimp tempura cali roll. The tempura was all very fresh, as was the roll that came with it. The other thing we got was the gyoza combo pate. That came with spicy tuna and Cali roll and some pieces or gyoza. The meal was served with miso soup. Because it was a date day we should have sat at the bar for more privacy. The tables are a little too close in my opinion so you can't have a private conversation. The place is tiny but the sushi was good enough tasting to where I'd go back for a lunch plate again. I'd also try their specialty rolls.

Very disappointed with my experience. If a restaurant advertises itself as AYCE (All You Can Eat),…read moreit's frustrating to be limited to only 3 rounds and given a strict time limit of 2hrs. If I'm still within the allotted rounds and want to order more of the items I enjoyed, I should be able to do so without feeling restricted with "you can order on your next rounds" Mind you this is an appetizer cucumbers. Yet I have to wait on my first round order which took 30 minute plus. The whole point of AYCE is to allow customers to enjoy the food they want within the agreed-upon dining period of 2hrs. Having such strict limitations makes the experience feel less like "all you can eat" and more like a controlled meal with restrictions. In my opinion, this policy is not acceptable and takes away from the value and enjoyment of the experience. Plus I understand if you over order and get charged left overs that's acceptable also. Customer service is horrible controlling owner will judge and monitor your table and how much you eat by eye balling your table we had made eye contact serval times while my plates were empty and she brought more out without my missing oyster and all the other special items listed but yet paid that premium price. Save your money if you want AYCE.

Formerly known as Sato Sushi, Ha Sushi offers a delicious fusion of Japanese and Korean flavors, and everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and very generous. We had the Yellowtail Lovers, which was incredibly fresh, smooth, and buttery. The tuna carpaccio was another highlight, thinly sliced, light, and full of flavor. We also ordered the garlic edamame, tossed in a Korean-style sauce, which added a nice kick and was absolutely delicious. The tempura was perfectly crispy, light, and not greasy at all. Portion sizes were very generous, we honestly ordered too much food, but enjoyed every bite. As a bonus, they surprised us with a complimentary salmon roll, along with complimentary miso soup, which was a great touch. To finish the meal, we were served green tea ice cream, which was refreshing and the perfect ending. The servers were really nice and welcoming. Overall, the food quality, generous portions, and thoughtful complimentary items made for a great experience. Ha Sushi is a great spot if you're looking for sushi with a unique Japanese-Korean flair. read more

First and foremost, as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by everyone. Right away, I felt the energy was right--even before trying the food. Sarah was incredibly kind and welcoming, and my family felt at home right away. Now let me tell you about the sushi rolls! They were really well made--the rolls held together perfectly, tasted fresh, and had a great presentation. You can tell there was care put into the food. And when I saw the bill, I was honestly surprised by how reasonably priced the sushi was! Coming from a family of five, that definitely makes a difference. I have to say, this place is officially on our family's list of places to come back to. Great food, great service, welcoming atmosphere, and prices that make it easy to enjoy a meal with the whole family. Thanks again, Sarah! We'll definitely be back! read more

So glad Upland finally has a solid sushi spot! HA Sushi just opened and it's already a favorite. The quality is amazing; fresh, flavorful, and you can tell they care about every plate. Service was great from start to finish, super attentive without being overbearing. It's honestly hard to find good sushi out here outside of Shiro, so this place fills a real gap. Bonus: they're open late, which makes it perfect for a late-night bite or a low-key date spot. But it's also great for taking the whole family, good music, good vibes, and good drinks to match the fresh sushi. Highly recommend HA Sushi whether you're craving a late night spot or a solid family dinner. Will definitely be back! read more
