Well. Overall a great experience. The staff was kind. The sushi chef was obviously a pro. The vibe inside was relaxing. It was quiet. Were there at 4:30 on a Monday and it was chill. The clear soup was mid and the gyoza was mid+ also, but the rolls were awesome! The pink lady was my favorite. TNT 2nd and the fire corner roll 3rd but a close 3rd. An overall great dinner and very well priced ! And bonus - right across the street from the hotel. They got Saki & beer & wine also.

I often stop by here for lunch; they have great hot lunch specials. I always order the Godzilla or Dynamite hot rolls, along with the Clear Soup. Sometimes I drop in to try something new. I don't eat sushi made with raw fish, but I definitely recommend their other dishes. Stop by for lunch--for just $15, you get a lot of food!

I've been here several times and the service is always quick and friendly with smiles. I find it often that I go to Asian restaurants locally and they may not always be so friendly so it is great that the servers are always super friendly here . The decor is great, I like the dim lighting. The sushi is always great and you can't beat that the lunch special has quite a variety compared to the other local sushi places in Tinseltown area

For lunch, a coworker and I stopped in as it's near the office. We were quickly seated as a walk in, and the staff was friendly. I was excited for teriyaki tofu as it's usually fried or sautéed to have a nice crunch, but they served with just sauce on top. I like tofu, but it definitely left me not wanting tofu for weeks. Overall, the location is small and we were not impressed with the food.

Just try it! When I say I've had sushi hundreds of times I'm not joking, and though this place isn't your hole in the wall or your fancy dining sushi restaurant it's the middle ground of YES IM COMING BACK! I was so pleasantly surprised by the entire experience! It's small and quite and for some reason always seems likes no one is in here but the take out is ALWAYS busy! The 2 servers seem to always be there and they are great, genuinely my favorite sushi place I've been too in JAX area! It's simple, but they have a variety of rolls! The Christmas Roll is probably our favorite but they're a great selection for everyone! The soup here is also so flavorful and such a great palate builder! Amazing here! The only negative I have is they are closed on Sundays, but I'm happy they do that for themselves but I seem to want Sushi Q Every Sunday !! Definitely worth checking out ! I love it

Service is quick and food is fresh. We are never disappointed! Beef noodles were full of flavor. Sushi rolls made per order. Small restaurant but is good as takeout as well

I stopped in because I was in the area and what a happy accident! The service was fabulous and my waitress suggested some great options. The sushi was fresh and had a wide selection. I liked the booth where I sat and the lighting was calming. This place is great for date night or for lounging and enjoying sake.

I have found my new favorite sushi spot in Jacksonville! The beauty ocean roll was SO tasty and fresh, this was my first time with seaweed salad on a roll and I will never look back. The spicy escolar was good, just plain and I personally enjoy rolls with more things in them. The krab wontons were tasty and fried to perfection. I was in and out quickly and efficiently. Not to mention, this place was very affordable and had a big menu. I will be coming back here again and again!

My favorite sushi place in Jax by a landslide. Everything is so fresh and reasonably priced. 12/10

I ordered Sushi Q for delivery, so I can't comment on the service. Although, I did try a few different foods. I was excited since the town center doesn't have many sushi options, but I probably won't be returning here. My order was well packed and included utensils and sides of soy sauce and shrimp sauce. I got an avocado cucumber roll and a tofu roll. The tofu roll was made with silken tofu, so it was very mushy and unpleasant. The avocado cucumber roll was pretty standard. The sushi wasn't very well made so it fell apart while eating with chopsticks. The side of fried rice and side of noodles were good, but needed a little extra flavor in my opinion. Make sure to specify no egg if you order the fried rice if you're vegan or allergic. The Krab rangoons were the best thing I got. A good amount of filling, very tasty, and the dipping sauce was great. Overall, I wouldn't go here again for sushi. (Which is disappointing since the name is literally Sushi Q) but I can imagine their hibachi might be worth it if you're in the area and need something quick.

A great spot for some quick and casual sushi! The prices are decent, especially the lunch specials, and the quality of food is pretty good too! The clear soup, while on the saltier side, was tasty. The ginger salad was very crisp and fresh. And the dynamite roll, advertised as spicy, while delicious and perfectly crispy, was not spicy at all. The servings sizes were especially good for their price and I can see myself coming again to try the other menu options!

Delicious sushi in Jax! I came here for the first time for lunch with a friend and ordered their 3 roll lunch special. It was $12.95 and came with soup and a salad. Service was quick and great, not too crowded for lunch on a weekday and delicious! Will be back.

Tuna avocado & spicy salmon - sushi quality and taste was awful - notice how the color of the fish in each roll is totally off!

So let me get organized with each visit I had. First visit - I had the Rosé Pearl drink. I can't remember what's all in it but it was divine! My sisters had other drinks which were not as good as mine. One had something with ube and the other something with 75 on the name. Sorry it's been a few months so I can't recall exact names. Then we had yakitoris. All of them were delicious, even the zucchini ones (I'm not very big on veggies ). Also had a sushi roll shaped in heart. Again, don't remember the name but it was yummy! Adding the pic here. I had the yakisoba and it was surprisingly a good portion for a small plate. Second visit - my husband's birthday dinner, mid March. Brought all the kids and father in law. We had edimame, more yakitoris, chicken karaage, miso creamy udon, another sushi roll. It was during prime dinner rush so our server was less attentive but got all of our needs in reasonable time. Third visit-highlight is the server. We were a larger party of 9. She was patient with all of us and remembered everything! Humored our requests for pictures. Even reminded us that tip has been included due to our large party. This time I had the emperor's crunch. I should've read the description closer because I didn't expect it to be a pork roll. It was still so good that my friend ended up ordering one for herself (I ordered mine as one of my apps). Also had more yakitoris. Someone had ruffle fries which was heaven! Each visit was satisfying for me. It's so good to see a place so busy, yet still manages to put out delicious, quality food and pretty great service. Kudos!

Service/Atmosphere: Our server was great, gave great recommendations, efficient service, and friendly. We also ordered the chicken teriyaki rice bowl. Everything tasted good but nothing special. Pricing was okay for what we ordered.

It may seem odd to mention that in a review for a steakhouse, especially when their steak is also absolutely stellar, but it is really that good. The hibachi chef was skilled both as a chef and as a performer and all the food was cooked perfectly. The prices are also very low for the amount of food you receive - $37 buys 10oz of filet mignon (which is already a better price than a lot of steakhouses) but that then also comes with a huge quantity of rice, noodles, and vegetables, as well as a salad and a soup. We ate our fill and then also had like a week's worth of leftovers. It's certainly not somewhere we can afford to come super often, but it's an excellent deal for what you receive. One thing to keep in mind though is it's really cold in there, presumably so that working with the hibachi all day can be tolerable. Since customers don't stand over the hot grill the whole time you should bring a sweater.

So I'm not only did we have to wait another 20 minutes to get the rest of our order filled. I was quite disappointed to see that they lump an extra 10% onto your final balance discretely, with no option to negate it. Upon arrival, a hostess sat us in a booth and presented menus. A very very extensive menu indeed. Too many choices IMO. We selected 3 rolls to split. Included were soup and salad. Wife chose clear soup and I chose Miso. We both selected ginger dressing on salad. Clear soup was a chicken broth. Both were good. Salads were good however way too much ginger dressing. The rolls arrived and they were HUGE. One was tempura shrimp w spicy tuna. Another was spicy tuna, final one was tuna with spicy tuna. The spicy Luna on all 3 was unusual. Seemed to be ground tuna with binders making it almost a clay consistency. It was as advertised - spicy. Too spicy IMO. The rolls being so large made it difficult to use chopsticks, so we used fingers! We needed more napkins and I got some on the way to the restroom to wash my hands. The bill was very reasonable. All in all, we will try another sushi restaurant next time.
