This place had a great vibe! Service was super fast and friendly! My server was Charlie (my sons name as well) and she was just lovely and super attentive! The food was delicious and came out super fast! I know I got a more basic Philly Roll but I love cream cheese and avocado in it! And the Gyoza was really tasty! So glad I was able to stop by and enjoy!

I ordered carryout from here after a quick decision I was ordering in that night. I placed the order online and was quoted 20 minutes, which is pretty standard for online sushi orders. It was ready in ~15 minutes. I was satisfied with the rolls, the fish all tasted fresh and the rice was not hard. I really enjoyed the beauty and beast roll dipped in spicy mayo of course. I am going to keep on the hunt for the best sushi in Jacksonville, but for now I will keep this place in my back pocket since it is close to where I live.

Saw this sushi place as my best option for sushi in Jax, since it was close to my friend's house. I was visiting from Nashville and wanted to take her to the nearest and fanciest sushi place. She said the reviews were great and was excited to go. The sushi lunch special was good, but I would have bought the sashimi special she selected. It was a great price and delicious! The crab Rangoon was the best. Ambience was perfect with the colored lighting. Place was clean. Staff was nice. I didn't like that free wifi was not available. Still 5 stars!

This is our favorite go to sushi restaurant in Jacksonville. The ingredients are super fresh and the staff is always great. Hannah is our favorite server to request. The restaurant is super affordable compared to others of the same quality standard. The bar is also fully stocked compared to other places. It doesn't look like it would be good from the outside- all the windows are blacked out, but the inside is quaint, clean, and moody. Hidden gem in Jacksonville!

Waitress was nice. Really enjoyed the sushi and noodles. Fried ice cream was ok. Loved the ambiance.

So happy that my neighborhood sushi places is back open for take out. And I think these pics show you why. I got the Sushi Combo with various types of nigiri and a tuna roll. I also got one of my favorites, the Spider roll. I haven't had sushi since everything was locked down so this was definitely needed. Everything was delicious and it felt like I was eating sushi for the first time again.

I've always heard the most important aspect of sushi is the sushi rice. Perfect that and you'll have perfect sushi every time. If only sashimi fusion would follow that advice. Ordered a touch of takeout for my mom and I. We got 2 clear soups, shrimp shumai, eel and avocado roll, krab meat roll, and a spicy tuna roll. I have to say I was disappointed. Usually I can count on Sashimi Fusion for a reliable experience, but they've let me down. The clear soup was over powered with chicken broth. The shrimp shumai tasted like all dumpling and no shrimp. The eel and avocado was a tiny dab of eel and more than enough avocado. The krab meat roll would've been good if the rice wasn't so bland. The spicy tuna was the only thing that saved the meal. The rice was perfect, it had just the right tough of spiciness, and the filling was definitely not skimped on. Considering this is the closest sushi spot to me and they've done me right in the past, I will probably try them again, but I won't be in a rush about it.

    Nice bar at the place.

Is there hibachi to watch for the kids?

No. There is hibachi available on the menu, but no "show" with a funny chef.

My waiter was super wonderful and answered my questions about the custom sushi options. I am not a fan of sushi with cream cheese, avocado, or cucumber (and most places have one or the other in most rolls). I appreciated that I could make the sushi my own. Not pictured here was a salmon roll topped with salmon roe (I call it mother and child lol). The eel was also delicious, and I can't wait to return for a visit one day.

We decided to try somewhere new last Saturday night and were told about a 30-minute wait, which is usually a good sign as the place was packed. They took our number and texted us about 20 minutes later when two seats opened at the hibachi bar. Grabbing those seats was the best decision we made as we were entertained by both the hibachi chefs and the sushi station all night. The chefs were interactive, friendly, and clearly skilled at what they do. Our waitress, Jennifer, was absolutely on point, accommodating, polite, and happy to offer recommendations that did not disappoint. We ordered the shrimp tempura, bagel roll, and spider roll for sushi, along with the shrimp and steak hibachi, which she thoughtfully split onto two plates for us without even being asked. The sushi arrived first, beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. Soup and salad followed, then the hibachi entrée , all timed perfectly so we never felt rushed or overcrowded with dishes. The shrimp was fresh, the steak cooked perfectly, and the fried rice seasoned just right with herbs and spices that complemented the entire meal. Every part of the experience flowed from start to finish. A return visit is already in the works this month. Highly recommend this spot and major thanks to the employees for being at the top of their game! Truly a 5 star experience.

The build your own poke is also one of my go-to choices and their ramen bowls will give you delicious leftovers for days! Basically it'd hard to go wrong here. Other random side notes are that they're closed Monday (which i forget alot) & their miso soup is made with a more savory (bone?) broth that I'm used too- not a bad thing, it just surprised me. In sum, if I were on death row I might just have to get a philly roll from here as my last meal.

I'm a fan of a little spice so I asked for 1/2 the normal amount used to spice things up... but honestly the broth is just SOOO good on its own; it needs nothing. The noodles themselves are also really good; some places have noodles that can taste a little "cardboard-y" - but not at Tokyo Ramen. What else? Service: friendly and fast... Cleanliness of the restaurant: supreme (I think you could literally eat off the floors if health code allowed).

Service was meh at best: the young ladies were more interested in their phones and there were two of them to one of me. I initially wanted to try the soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao), but the waitress convinced me not to as "they take too long" to prepare. Instead I went with the pork fried dumplings and the Taiwanrse sausage. The dumplings were very average: not bad flavor but they had a flavor and were uniform in a way that suggested they came right out of a bag from the freezer. There are much better and fresher dumplings to be had in Jacksonville. The sausage, however, was quite good. It was taught, porky, and had notes of five spice & maybe cinnamon. It further reinforced my view that meat always tastes best when served on a stick! It helped bring in the final score two three stars, making up for poor service and mediocre dumplings.
