I really debated on the number of stars for this dinner. I almost did two (2) but the waitress did try so I'll give it a three. To begin with we were the only ones there, so the service was not slow. I can't say I was impressed with the service we received, but it was what it was. The sushi was just OK nothing to write home about and really not sure how fresh. The mango in the avocado mango sushi was actually gooey borderline to ripe. The sushi rolls did not stick together, and I have not experienced that before. The only one that I really thought was good was a chicken tempura . My friend got a hibachi meal which she said was "just OK." She said it was nothing to write home about nothing spectacular and was just edible. The building is older, and that would probably explain the very peculiar odor that permeated the dining room. Moreover, every time the air conditioner kicked on it kept blowing out a very strong odor and heat before it finally cooled down. Makes me wonder if the AC system is on the way out. Because of the smell I did not check out the bathroom for I was worried that if it was as bad as it smelled in the restaurant, I probably would've walked out.

    Love Boat for 2

While visiting Jacksonville came across this sushi restaurant. Arrived at 5pm. Upon entering we were immediately greeted and seated. Was a little surprised that we were the only customers. We ordered beer (hubby) and hot green tea (me). Menu had some great rolls in it. We went with Love Boat for 2. This came with soup or salad. Hubby had miso soup and I chose the salad with ginger dressing. Boat arrived quite beautifully presented and all fish fresh and esthetically pleasing. Server was very attentive to anything we needed. Overall a wonderful sushi meal. Our only complaint was that the ginger slices that came with the boat seemed old. Flavor really off. Not a meal killer but we love the ginger slices so it was a little disappointing. If your in town and want some sushi, this place can be added to your list.

The only sushi place I like going too. Been going there for years. Tried other sushi places but nothing compares to Sake Sushi in my opinion. Found this little gem before my daughter was born and now she's five years old about to be 6 years old in 3 months. The young lady working in the front is always nice and the place is cozy. I always get the Dynamite roll. And might try other rolls as well

Went here for lunch with my son, never thought I would find such a fantastic sushi place in this location! Impressed beyond belief!

    Spicy scallop mush

Little sushi place tucked into back of strip mall off Baymeadows. Food was pretty good and service was very good. Sushi places in N FL area usually pretty similar and this place really doesn't stand out in the crowd, but if you're in the area it seems to be a good option for sushi. I ordered salmon (pre-sliced), eel, FFEgg and spicy scallop sushi, along with tuna tataki appetizer. All were good although the scallop was not prepared as I would've preferred. I like them sliced fresh and sauced...these were premade and spooned onto rice. Tasted fine, though. Overall probably a 3 and 1/2 star out of five.

Per a friend's recommendation, I grabbed takeout tonight & it did not disappoint. Sushi & ginger dressing were so fresh. Price was great and my order was ready in 15 minutes. I'll be back soon!

Wow! So fresh and a great family owned business! We did the all you can eat. Edamame, salads, soup, dumplings delicious! I had 2 rolls the Golden Dragon Roll was superb and the Shrimp Asparagus roll was also good I've never had asparagus in a sushi roll and the flavors went really well with the rest of the ingredients. Then I couldn't eat and more rice so I had salmon sashimi. Soooooooo freakin good

We couldn't help ourselves and started to dig in before I thought of taking the picture. It was a very pretty display.

Do you want good sushi with all you can eat options in a calm and quiet environment? Then look no more! Most people order to go or use the partnering delivery service, so there's rarely more than 2-3 patrons in the restaurant at any time. We've come here about 4-5 times now, and most often it's just us. The tv's are usually tuned in to the news station and they usually play jazz or piano-ballad-type music. The restaurant itself is spotless and sports a very pleasant atmosphere coupled with appealing furnishings. As I mentioned, they offer an all you can eat menu for ~$22 /person. This menu not only includes popular sushi rolls, but even multiple items from their hibachi menu. Typical rules apply: you must finish what you have before you place another order and you will pay per piece if you leave any behind. The sushi they prepare is fresh and tasty. We've tried most nearly all of the regular rolls and a few of the special rolls and have yet to find one that we are displeased with. They even have a dessert-esque roll that is made from a banana tempura. My partner was hesitant at the taste at first, but warmed up to it. It smelled sweet so I adjusted my expectations and found it pleasant. It was like a banana-bread-pudding. Brilliant! I have had one instance where my order was not provided correctly, thus the 4 stars. While no one can be perfect, the roll was marked on a paper sheet and still wasn't delivered. It's not a big issue, but I did take notice. I will definitely be back some more to try out their other menu items. Such a large variety of foods, so little time!

This place was huge compared to the other sushi restaurants. A lot of space and it looks like they can even add more tables if they need too. Came in with a very large party (10+) and they were able to accommodate us easily. They have an ALL YOU CAN EAT menu from appetizers to sushi to the hibachi grill. A very large selection and it's a good deal, if you can a lot of sushi (which I can). The specialty rolls (I think #26 to #33) you can order one roll per person. I ordered the Chicken Tempura and Veggies, Rainbow Roll, and Shrimp Tempura Roll to start with. My fiancé ordered Shrimp Tempura and veggies, Golden Dragon Roll, Banana Roll, Chicken Fried Rice, and Miso Soup. The Chicken Tempura and Veggies (and shrimp) were really good. Three pieces of chicken (and shrimp) , 1 mushroom, 1 broccoli, 1 onion, & 1 sweet potato. Very nicely portioned and well cooked. Very crispy and tasty. Nothing soggy. Goes perfect with the tempura sauce of course. Rainbow roll was very well presented. Different colors represented the different raw fish used. A very good amount. Very delicious. :) Golden dragon roll was really good. I recommend it with the rainbow roll. It's probably the top specialty to choose first as well. Banana roll wasn't too bad. It's basically fried banana in a roll. It actually reminds me when my grandmother used to make the banana rice wrapped in banana leaves and steamed. The memories :) I only tasted a spoon of the fried rice because I was very close to reaching my FULL mark. I thought it was a little bit tasteless but maybe it's because I had so many sushi flavors in my mouth? Maybe. I was waiting for my Shrimp Tempura roll and the waitress forgot to put in my order. At this time, I'm pretty stuffed but I ordered anyways. There were 5 pieces but well filled. Very good. Overall, this place was awesome. Would love to come back with friends and family. This will make your day.

So let me get organized with each visit I had. First visit - I had the Rosé Pearl drink. I can't remember what's all in it but it was divine! My sisters had other drinks which were not as good as mine. One had something with ube and the other something with 75 on the name. Sorry it's been a few months so I can't recall exact names. Then we had yakitoris. All of them were delicious, even the zucchini ones (I'm not very big on veggies ). Also had a sushi roll shaped in heart. Again, don't remember the name but it was yummy! Adding the pic here. I had the yakisoba and it was surprisingly a good portion for a small plate. Second visit - my husband's birthday dinner, mid March. Brought all the kids and father in law. We had edimame, more yakitoris, chicken karaage, miso creamy udon, another sushi roll. It was during prime dinner rush so our server was less attentive but got all of our needs in reasonable time. Third visit-highlight is the server. We were a larger party of 9. She was patient with all of us and remembered everything! Humored our requests for pictures. Even reminded us that tip has been included due to our large party. This time I had the emperor's crunch. I should've read the description closer because I didn't expect it to be a pork roll. It was still so good that my friend ended up ordering one for herself (I ordered mine as one of my apps). Also had more yakitoris. Someone had ruffle fries which was heaven! Each visit was satisfying for me. It's so good to see a place so busy, yet still manages to put out delicious, quality food and pretty great service. Kudos!

We also ordered the chicken teriyaki rice bowl. Everything tasted good but nothing special. Pricing was okay for what we ordered.

It may seem odd to mention that in a review for a steakhouse, especially when their steak is also absolutely stellar, but it is really that good. The hibachi chef was skilled both as a chef and as a performer and all the food was cooked perfectly. The prices are also very low for the amount of food you receive - $37 buys 10oz of filet mignon (which is already a better price than a lot of steakhouses) but that then also comes with a huge quantity of rice, noodles, and vegetables, as well as a salad and a soup. We ate our fill and then also had like a week's worth of leftovers. It's certainly not somewhere we can afford to come super often, but it's an excellent deal for what you receive. One thing to keep in mind though is it's really cold in there, presumably so that working with the hibachi all day can be tolerable. Since customers don't stand over the hot grill the whole time you should bring a sweater.

So I'm not only did we have to wait another 20 minutes to get the rest of our order filled. I was quite disappointed to see that they lump an extra 10% onto your final balance discretely, with no option to negate it. To rate the cuisine, the food was mid at best... definitely nothing to write home about. After the lackluster experience, I would not recommend this establishment.

It was super crispy, but the meat was still so juicy. And the sweet and creamy sauces just finished the perfect bite. The ramens were pretty solid too. The matcha broth was super creamy and light. And the tonkotsu was so flavorful, with really tender chashu and a perfectly soft boiled egg. Plus the noodles were a really good texture. The restaurant itself is really cute too. They also have a convenience store type of ramen station in the front, which I really want to try. As well as a little arcade game that you can play in the front while you wait to be seated. However, I was really not a fan of the service. It's nothing really against the servers because they were super nice, but they just seemed so frazzled. We arrived around an hour before closing, but it took forever for us to be seated, despite seeing a few empty tables around. By the time we were seated, we were told kitchen would be closing in two minutes, so we had to hurry and put in our orders. All of that was fine and I didn't mind. But what I did mind was that our waitress checked our order twice when we first have it. And she came back to our table within the next five minutes to check our orders again for a third time to make sure she had down what we wanted. I wanted the matcha ramen and was most looking forward to having some chashu and egg. So she confirmed my order three times that I wanted matcha ramen. But when it came out, she gave me the vegetable bowl. I knew the kitchen had closed at that point, so I just ate it, but I was really disappointed. (I did get to try a bite of my friends egg and chashu, which also didn't really help because it was so good and made me wish mine came with those even more.) When we were finished eating, it took forever for the checks to come out. This I also didn't mind that much, because the servers, again, looked really frazzled trying to close up. But at this point we had waited until well after their closing time, so part of me was hoping they could just close us out first and then finish closing down the place. I think we waited at least half an hour from when we first asked for the check (at which point we had already been waiting a while) to when we finally got our cards back. I did see they charged me for the vegetable version of the matcha ramen so it was whatever, but then also I was confused - so it wasn't a mix up in the kitchen, she rang it up as the vegetable one from the beginning! Even though I never mentioned it and she never said vegetable when confirming my order. It was a dollar less to get tofu instead of an egg and chashu which doesn't seem worth it. Writing this all out, I'm sorry to rant, because the food really was good. And looking at other reviews, it looks like the service is usually pretty good. But again, it was just disappointing. That being said, I am really hoping it was a one off thing because I would go again and try some other menu items too.
