Lots of good, great price and really fresh. I got the shrimp tempura bento box and a sleeping beauty roll. I really enjoyed both. It was really fun to have different types of masago on top of the roll. We were sat and greeted very quickly. Fresh ginger dressing that comes in small packages for the win! Service was good. No frills. Service is always fast regardless of when the place was smaller before it expanded and now that it's bigger. Staff is always polite and efficient. Food: everything we have gotten is good. Sushi, ramen, kitchen orders, doesn't matter. It's always good. I love the Kani Salad Naruto but I think they changed how they make it because it's not as good as before. I'm a long time fan of this place. For a decade I've driven past 5 or 6 closer sushi shops to get to this one. Really good sushi. Pretty good kitchen dishes to appease the one child who isn't a fan of rolls. And for a few years, this was one of the only places to get a good ramen bowl, before more restaurants joined the noodle craze. Always great service. Very attentive, but also knew when to stay in the background when I was in for a "working lunch" during the week. There is some stiffer competition in the area now. But I still stop in when I can. Love love loved the atmosphere, friendly staff, and the adorable sushi logo seen throughout the restaurant made it so much fun! The best part was the sushi, of course! Presentation matched the taste of each piece perfectly We had a side of pork dumplings, and they were delicious as well. Wow what a turn around! This was once the go to place for great ramen. There was nothing but mushy noodles in some tasteless broth. The gyoza was cold and overall presentation and general attitude were lacking. It pears there must have been a change in ownership/management! What a shame. read more

I normally wouldn't have thought twice about it, it's just a little store in a strip mall, they did have a cool floating noodle bowl out front enticing people to come in. But that chicken hibachi was Delicious!! I would say this is the closest place to make a great hibachi with out them doing the whole show and cooking it in front of you. The atmosphere is calming and comfortable. I got 3 rolls (Spicy Salmon $6.95, Spicy Tuna $6.95, Yellowtail $6.50) and a cup of hot green tea ($2.75) for a total of $24.89 after tax (not including tip). I discovered this little place when I was on my way to Lowe's. What a happy little accident this is turned out to be. I've been back a few times since my first visit. What I like about this place is the incredible freshness of the food. Fresh fish is not supposed to be fishy. This isn't. Everything is light, clean, and prepared very well. It's obvious. Also the service that we have been consistently receiving has been positive, friendly, and they even remember us now. Probably because my husband likes to eat entire raw jalapeños like a crazy person. LOL The food is attractive, the staff is friendly, everything offered is as fresh as could be, and you can tell you're getting quality. I really like that this is a small independently owned business. I love supporting places like this. I have been back, and I will continue to go back. So grateful to have found this place. Love this little gem! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The seating is intimate but doesn't make you feel stuffed like sardines. I am personally excited to give my 5 plus more stars to this wonderful restaurant. (Yes I am terrible (lol) about giving quick reviews and sending it thru ASAP). OMG I so LOVE this place! Delicious sushi is so very hard to find these days. I think that's why I gave sushi a break. I wish we tried them long ago as we are regulars at Rosies Mexican next door (good place too). This a very good place for sushi and hibachi. Sushi at some places would fall apart. Not at all here, the sushi stayed intact, rolled nicely with great care! It's truly the little things like that and it says a lot about their work ethic--- Very GOOD JOB to the entire sushi staff! Oh yes, I am all for neatness. Lol. I joined yelp to see "where to go" for places regarding food, etc. So looking at great photos from many cool yelp members, I told my husband after his travel week to TX calling from the airport "hey let's try Sushi Garden". I ordered the shrimp hibachi the other night with white sauce and moist steamed rice. After enjoying the shrimp hibachi dinner so much, we tried the lunch specials the next day! My thoughts were running high with excitement reading the menu like a child on Christmas morning. lol. Seriously, I sure do love good Japanese food especially anything with delicious moist rice and shrimp. If the shrimp hibachi was that delicious, then all of the items must be too! We picked up at 12:30 after the Gate Express car wash across the street after calling the order in (another nice new place for the daily wash). Parking can be crazy and tight when picking up. Not a far drive from home at Bartram Springs either. It gives me all the reason to seek adventure when working at home if I am in the mood for hibachi and sushi to reset myself. Lol. Friday at lunch time, we ordered the 3 rolls ($9.95) and shrimp hibachi ($8.95). Lunch special menu 11:00 to 3:00 Tuesday thru Saturday and Sunday 12 to 3. 1. Shrimp tempura (my all time favorite that I always pick, very good). 2. Shrimp avocado (very good!). 3. Spicy tuna (my husband picked this one, very good, enjoyed too). -Hibachi shrimp, veggies with steamed rice. Side salad with ranch on the side. (Very good). You can pick ginger dressing but I chose the ranch dressing. We will definitely be back for sure! The shrimp tempura appetizer (4 pieces) is the best I have ever had honestly. The dipping sauce wasn't overly salty. Some places I have been to cooked my tempura to the point that it was rock, crunchy hard and hardly any shrimp at all. Another reason I took a break from tempura. I am so glad this place isn't too far to get to. Much appreciated by me as I am picky about tempura. Lol. The batter was light and the shrimp was plump. YES indeed I highly recommend this place. Prices are fair. Will have to sit inside next time when we have more time. read more
