Food - hot, fresh, flavorful Service - professional, polite, efficient Ambiance - simple, quaint, clean, medium volume with light music on the background We will happily.retyurn. We left content with our meal and slightly over stuffed

So pleased. Came for an early dinner around 5:30 before it was too busy. The staff was kind and fast to greet/seat us. The sushi was fresh and tasty. Nice atmosphere. Can't wait to come back.

The sushi was fresh and amazing. The easy of ordering and the quick service was beyond reproach. It was a cute little restaurant in a strip mall. This is truly a place that deserves a try, and we felt like we got way more than we paid for!!!

On the plus side, they do take reservations, which many hibachi restaurants do not. Regarding the restaurant itself, the ambiance was decent. That said, staff was all extremely friendly and helpful. Hibachi chefs, from what I noticed, all were putting on great shows and displayed great personality and fun while cooking. Overall I'd say food quality was good, but not mind blowing.. but like I said, still pretty good. Portions are wild though... so you can skip the rest of your meals that day. We had a good time and will definitely be back soon.

Mommee and I were seated and began our shared experience with edamame, unsalted but spicy with garlic. They were steamed and seasoned as a topper rather than together to better infuse the flavors. They were tasty and we had quite a few by the time our entrees: drunken noodles with scallops for Mommee and Thai Curry (red) with tofu for me. We ordered our preferred spice levels and when they arrived, we prayed and dived in! The drunken noodles with scallops impressed my mom, having spent time overseas while in the military, she gave it a thumbs up! I tasted one of the scallops and was pleased! Now, my Thai Curry with tofu was at spice level 6 and did NOT disappoint! The dish was fragrant, the pineapple chunks were sweet and the tofu just right! The coconut milk cooled my palate and really tied the dish together. My personal favorite in a curry is the addition of basil, but not today. The portions were healthy and most of our dishes went home with us. There's an all you can eat menu, of which we didn't order mostly because we were told by the waitress that she preferred the "table" pick from one menu or the other. I didn't like that since we're paying for whatever we ordered, but we complied.

I looked at the menu and decided to stop by for lunch because they had some lunch specials. What an amazing experience I spoke with the owner. She was so so nice. She made me feel so welcome from the minute. I sat down the vibe was so amazing. I ended up ordering a two roll special for $11.95 as well as the sashimi and sushi lunch special, which was about $18 the sushi was so fresh. The flavor was so delicious. I'm so thankful I decided to stop by here I highly recommend this place. The sushi is so good. The sashimi was amazing. The staff were so friendly the owner I really wish I caught her name but she was so so nice. It was a really amazing experience when I come back to Jacksonville I am 100% coming back to this restaurant. Thank you Sushi Wok !

A Hidden Gem for Wok & Sushi Lovers…read more I stopped in on a whim and was genuinely impressed by how good this place is. The staff greeted me with warmth and made the entire experience feel welcoming and relaxed--like I was a regular from the start. The food? Absolutely solid. Fresh sushi, flavorful wok dishes, and everything came out hot, well-prepared, and at prices that make you do a double-take (in a good way). You can tell they care about quality without overcharging for it. Now, fair warning--the place has more surfboards than storage space, and some of that overflow has made its way into the dining area. But don't let that discourage you. The charm of this spot lies in its no-frills, laid-back vibe that matches the friendly, casual service perfectly. If I lived in the area, this would easily be a weekly go-to. Between the consistently good food, the down-to-earth ambiance, and the genuinely kind staff, it's the kind of place you can't help but root for. Highly recommend.

She provided amazing hospitality and her descriptions for the hand roll flight were immaculate. The food was amazing as well, really enjoyed the chutoro and otoro hand rolls and the seasonal black garlic tonkatsu. I love how affordable and approachable they put tuna belly on the menu, while you get to try a wide range of other usually expensive nigiri. The concept of diy hand rolls was really cute too. I thought the mentaiko udon could use a little more mentaiko tbh. But I loved the funky, almost sour cream sauce of the mentaiko. Good strong garlic flavor comes through as well. Vibes were immaculate, love the hanging lanterns and aesthetic of the restaurant. The open concept was cool if you sit at the bar and watch the sushi chefs. I love the projector displaying scenes from anime as well. They even have a Vero water filter which costs like $5K. Can't wait to come back again on an empty stomach and try more.

So let me get organized with each visit I had. First visit - I had the Rosé Pearl drink. I can't remember what's all in it but it was divine! My sisters had other drinks which were not as good as mine. One had something with ube and the other something with 75 on the name. Sorry it's been a few months so I can't recall exact names. Then we had yakitoris. All of them were delicious, even the zucchini ones (I'm not very big on veggies ). Also had a sushi roll shaped in heart. Again, don't remember the name but it was yummy! Adding the pic here. I had the yakisoba and it was surprisingly a good portion for a small plate. Second visit - my husband's birthday dinner, mid March. Brought all the kids and father in law. We had edimame, more yakitoris, chicken karaage, miso creamy udon, another sushi roll. It was during prime dinner rush so our server was less attentive but got all of our needs in reasonable time. Third visit-highlight is the server. We were a larger party of 9. She was patient with all of us and remembered everything! Humored our requests for pictures. Even reminded us that tip has been included due to our large party. This time I had the emperor's crunch. I should've read the description closer because I didn't expect it to be a pork roll. It was still so good that my friend ended up ordering one for herself (I ordered mine as one of my apps). Also had more yakitoris. Someone had ruffle fries which was heaven! Each visit was satisfying for me. It's so good to see a place so busy, yet still manages to put out delicious, quality food and pretty great service. Kudos!

Service/Atmosphere: Our server was great, gave great recommendations, efficient service, and friendly. We also ordered the chicken teriyaki rice bowl. Everything tasted good but nothing special. Pricing was okay for what we ordered.
