    Clear Soup

Great experience at Wasabi! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out surprisingly fast - We got the shrimp fried rice, miso soup, clear soup, and a couple of sushi rolls (including the Spicy Girl and Baymeadows rolls), and everything hit the spot. The sushi was well made and nicely presented, and the shrimp in the fried rice was perfectly grilled. Both soups were warm and tasty! The service was a bit slow when it came to refilling drinks. That said, they were clearly busy, and the staff was still polite and attentive overall. They have AYCE Sushi too but we didn't try that this time around! Definitely a place I'd come back to for another date night!

Something new and different! This was a suggestion for us to go here. I wasn't sure what it was, but as long as I had some items I could choose from, I was good. We got a seat right away! The waitress grabs some papers, and numbered us, and gave each one of us one of the papers. I asked huh? What am I supposed to do with this. It's all you can eat, so you pick items on the menu and put the numbered item in the boxes. Ok, so I chose several items, before I could even finish picking my items, one of the people I was with, had food come already? I was like ok, where is ours? They said, Oh she did a quick pick, lol ok, I don't even know what's happening. So, I put my numbed paper on the end of the table and the waitress picked up my paper. Soon after that, she brough out my crab salad, I've never had anything like this in my life. The crab and the vegetables were all the same size, it was so refreshing and delicious. Then the Crab Ragoon and the crab tempura came out. The Tempura was interesting. One of them had some Crab in it, and the other one was kind of hollow. nevertheless, it was good. Then the Fried rice with Chicken and Vegetables came out, not really the way I was expecting it, but it was amazing. I didn't even need to add soy sauce to it. The chicken was tender, and the vegetables were great. I tasted the Steak, I'm glad I didn't order that! The meat wasn't tender at all. I must say, finally a place with good fried rice! I had actually given up on looking for it. I wasn't expecting it to taste so good. After that, I ordered the crab salad again and it was great. customer service was good as well. I could see myself coming back here.

Soup and salad came out normal as usual the rolls were very good. First time trying both. Asked for 1/2 rice and 1/2 noodle but only received rice. Service was great. The waitress smiled today for the first time. The smell in the restaurant is a little weird. Great prices and amazing lunch deals

This restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing, the staff is friendly and the service is pretty quick. Hibachi is always a great choice and my go to is chicken and steak. The food was cooked perfectly, our chef gave some great laughs and a show. Definitely would recommend coming here!

    That's a lot of food for $13.95!

I was looking for a quick bite to eat close by after getting some supplies and happened to walk into Wasabi. The server said I could customize and substitute my meal with only rice or only noodles or even double up or replace veggies etc. That flexibility is why I decided to dine here and just got 2 bowls of soup instead of the salad. The price was also great at $13.95 The large sake is only $6.99 but the small bottle for $3.99 was more than enough for both of us. It was a decent meal. I give 4* bcos they charge 75 cents for yum yum sauce. I didn't order any yum yum sauce but on principle I don't like restaurants that nickel and dime patrons. That's like charging for ketchup with an order of fries or a burger.

Stopped by for lunch and wasn't impressed with the sushi. My wife ordered a spicy tuna, dynamite, holiday and some other roll. The spicy tuna was very fishy, dynamite lacked veggies and the holiday roll didn't have enough eel sauce on it. I ordered the chicken hibachi and thought it was good. Service was okay.

The seaweed salad, the jalapeño roll , the soup and the sweet carrots were my favorites and very good. Would definitely order this again. The ribeye had a bit to much fat it was cut thin slices but was juicy and tender. Next time I'll order the filet. The shrimp tasted overcooked and chewy The rice was not very good, I personally like mine with onion carrots peas and eggs and soy sauce. Theirs wasn't satisfying so was not eaten-guess I'll save those calories. Our server was friendly and attentive even though it was near closing time.

    Sashimi dinner
    Laranda L.

The edamame and miso soup were served hot with good seasoning. However the sashimi was subpar and all pieces were left thick. The flying roe nigiri was good however it's not a diff cult item to make. Overall the restroom was disgusting and needs an update and the interiors of the restaurant needs to be cleaned and wiped down with appropriate sanitizer. I guess go if you're in a pinch and want sushi otherwise save your money and go somewhere else.

When I first came in after the remodel I was skeptical, but day after day (hit after hit) Wasabi delivers. The food is AYCE and is made fresh to order. I'm a huge fan of nigiri so this is such a dea. Normally two pieces could easily be 5+ at another location. Don't like sushi? No worries! They have hibachi, tempur, soups, salad, dumplings. This is a great place to take people new to sushi who are discovering their preferences ( please consider the sweet potato sushi, it will be better than you anticipate). Please be warned, there is a price per sushi piece left behind. While I never seen the staff bring down the hammer, it is a clearly written rule. Also, if one person at the table orders AYCE then shares their food you will be charged for two AYCE (which makes sense). The interior is simple but the vibes are immaculate, super laid back and they often give small gifts during certain holidays. The AYCE is approx 16 dollars until 3, their dinner prices increase. Make sure to check their schedules times before heading over. (Try the salmon skin salad)

Mommee and I were seated and began our shared experience with edamame, unsalted but spicy with garlic. They were steamed and seasoned as a topper rather than together to better infuse the flavors. They were tasty and we had quite a few by the time our entrees: drunken noodles with scallops for Mommee and Thai Curry (red) with tofu for me. We ordered our preferred spice levels and when they arrived, we prayed and dived in! The drunken noodles with scallops impressed my mom, having spent time overseas while in the military, she gave it a thumbs up! I tasted one of the scallops and was pleased! Now, my Thai Curry with tofu was at spice level 6 and did NOT disappoint! The dish was fragrant, the pineapple chunks were sweet and the tofu just right! The coconut milk cooled my palate and really tied the dish together. My personal favorite in a curry is the addition of basil, but not today. The portions were healthy and most of our dishes went home with us. There's an all you can eat menu, of which we didn't order mostly because we were told by the waitress that she preferred the "table" pick from one menu or the other. I didn't like that since we're paying for whatever we ordered, but we complied.

Then we had yakitoris. All of them were delicious, even the zucchini ones (I'm not very big on veggies ). Also had a sushi roll shaped in heart. Again, don't remember the name but it was yummy! We had edimame, more yakitoris, chicken karaage, miso creamy udon, another sushi roll. It was during prime dinner rush so our server was less attentive but got all of our needs in reasonable time. Third visit-highlight is the server. We were a larger party of 9. She was patient with all of us and remembered everything! Humored our requests for pictures.
