They have a sheet of paper where you put down the numbers (food you want to try). Service was quick and they got our order in a timely manner. I tried the seaweed salad, and it was ok. So from the get go my wife did not like being here, the floors were slippery and the waiter took 10 mins to come by after we sat down. As for the food, honestly disappointing in every aspect. Came here for dinner with family and the wait was going to like 45 minutes but we got seated at the bar for half of that. The place is pretty small and it was packed. The concept is that you write which menu item numbers you want on the paper and give it to the workers. The items come out from there and you continue ordering like that for all you can eat. My friend took me here for lunch, said I needed to try it! Uhmmm I loved it! Where has this been my whole life lol!? One of my griefs with sushi is it's so expensive and not filling, like I can eat a few rolls spend $40 and still leave hungry. Recommend by my sister, we tried this place for dinner. She had stopped by for their lunch special. The greeting was friendly at the door and we were shown to our table right away. It was cozy inside and I sat at a booth. We soon realized it was all you can eat!! What a nice surprise the food was really delicious and came out to our table so quickly! This for the people who can't decide what they want! What I love about the sushi that it isn't drown in rice, if anything they give you more of the actual protien! Recently, I traveled to Jacksonville for work and been trying local eateries during my hour lunch break with a coworker. Our office manager mentioned this place was good for sushi on doordash, so we decided to dine in. The dining room is nothing fancy, but what you'd expect for a place like this. The edamame was overcooked and mushy, which was a first for me. Outside of that, the meal was good for all of us. Amazing value for AYCE lunch! Like $15.99 for all you can eat sushi is amazing especially during times where you feel your money doesnt go as far as it used to when eating out. They offer lunch prices mon-sat and you can order up to 8 selections at a time. I really enjoyed all the sushi I tried and the crab rangoon! I would stay away from the noodles since you really are just filling up on carbs. The hibachi meat portions are also generous and taste great! The Spicy Kani Roll was not like any others I've had at other restaurants...the "spicy" was not mixed in with the krab, and some of the end pieces had very little krab in them at all. However, the Alaska Roll made up for it! Very fresh and yummy. The Salmon Sushi fish with rice) that I ordered never came and they sent Salmon Sashimi instead (fish without rice). We my coworkers wanted to get sushi and wanted to get their moneys worth, this place was the first one to be mentioned. The lunch specials that they currently have where it is all you can eat for $14.99 seems like a really good deal. We were able to grab a table after about 10 minutes in the front corner easily. My coworkers explained to me about writing down the items you want by noting the item number on their order sheet which is then turned in to the server. I believe I did this twice with a semi-full sheet and after that I through in the towel. They're pretty efficient and getting the food out to everyone in a timely manner. I ordered the Alaska Roll, JB Roll, Spicy Salmon Hand Roll, Salmon and Tuna Sashimi, Plain Noodles....gosh, I'm sure what else hahaha. Everything tasted great. When you walk in, you're greeted with a smile and usually sat immediately. The lightning is dim but it matches the aesthetics. There are paper slips and pens on the table for you right down your order, be sure to write your seat number as well. Ok, some of my favorite rolls are the spicy tuna and spicy salmon .. recently I've tried the sweet potato roll which was surprisingly very good! Another favorite is their salmon and steak off of the hibachi. I find myself ordering several plates of each by itself. For the price you'll pay, it's well worth it. We checked in with a party of 8 at about 1:45, the person checking me in was did not try to hit his frustration. I ignored it, as we were hungry, and proceeded to wait. We understand that the restaurant was busy so we were okay with waiting. We say the filled who came in before us get seat, which is to be expected. But when we saw a party of 6, who came in after us, get seated after waiting for over 40 minutes, we went in to check, was told we were next to be seated. Unfortunately by then it was now 14:25, and they close at 3:30 for dinner time. Which was still fine but when it hit 2:45 and we still were not seated, we had to call it. I don't believe that you are able to seat a 8 top who were waiting for 40 minutes, but are able to seat a 6 who waited for 10. If you have larger party, go else where. The food were served promptly except for the fried rolls. It took them a while for those to come out. The portion is not a lot like your regular entree meals. It's more of a little portion but you can order more. There's only 8 slots, so you can only order 8 at a time. The sushi rolls were good. They didn't have too much rice on it and it wasn't big. Remember not to order with your eyes because it's 50 cents charge for each piece you do not finish. Update: I come here almost every Wednesday. One time I was not able to finish my noodle because it was cold and not good. When I received my bill they charged me an extra 4$ for unfinished noodles. My absolute favored AYCE sushi. Really love the diversity of Sushi Xs menu. From their starters to rolls they have something for everyone at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is standard and nothing to write home about but the service has never let me down. You use paper slips by table and seat number to order. Just don't forget what you ordered because there is a waste fee on uneaten food. My coworkers and I flood this place about once every other week and the quality for economical, and bulk sushi is beyond in my opinion (even the $5 Publix rolls can't compete).
