    Kung Pao Chicken
    Charlie S.

I took my girlfriend here for a change of pace. She ordered Kung Pao Chicken, I had a taste and it was delicious. I ordered Green tea, Steamed Pork Buns, Wonton soup, and Sizzling Steak with white rice. The Green tea came right away and it was a single cup. I had to order tea again to get a refill. The Wonton soup was served and it literally had no flavor. I opened a couple of the wontons and there was in fact a small piece of pork inside, but it had ZERO flavor, no taste whatsoever. The broth it was served in, had not a hint of pork. I asked the server about the flavor and she said she would have to ask the cook, but they never got back to me and they didn't offer to take it off my bill. I do not consider this good service. The Steamed Pork Buns were served and again there was no pork flavor. I broke it half and handed it to my girlfriend and she tasted it, no flavor. We even tried to eat the pork in the bun separately and it had no taste of pork. I wondered if it was actually pork. The last item was Sizzling Steak with peppers and onions. The steak was tough and very chewy and again there was no flavor. I could taste the onion and peppers, but the steak had no flavor. I don't think I have ever had such a bad experience in an Asian restaurant. The pictures I shared are different than the menu, the pork buns I shared are the actual. The menu shows 4 buns. The white rice was a very small serving, my girlfriend said they didn't provide enough rice. If you have eaten here and enjoyed your meal, post a review. I personally would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I give one star only because the Kung Pao Chicken was very good. Everything else was not worth what I was charged. I would also confirm what another customer posted about the seat covering in the booths. Note: I have not tried any of the sushi, or anything except what I wrote in my review. I forgot to take a photo of the Wonton soup.

All you can eat sushi that's made to order. Everything was fresh and had great flavor. The entire staff waits on each table so there is always someone available if you need something. Large selection of special rolls, sushi, and nigiri. Very tasty.

I've enjoyed Miya very much in the past. I had mixed opinions on my recent visit. First, the good- they had excellent service! All items - which were a lot mind you, came out shockingly fast. I enjoyed my appetizer cheese wontons, soup, and sashimi. My tea was tasty as well. Everyone in my party enjoyed their sushi rolls a lot. I still enjoy that they have dessert as we always enjoy the green tea ice cream and oranges (fresh fruit). My hesitation to recommend- the floor was awfully dirty throughout the entire restaurant. Very slippery. It felt like there was a layer of film that had been there for a while and whatever cleaner/ method of cleaning was being used just did not help. In the bathroom I also noticed some trash under the sink that seemed to have been there for a long time and there was lots of soap on the floor. It just could use a little care. But I understand that keeping up with all of this is not an easy task. The other drawback I noticed was the spicy tuna (which to my mistake I picked rolls that had this in each of them) didn't really even resemble fish. It was ground up to a pate and very red which just didn't seem natural to me. Not a fan but I did eat my rolls out of necessity. I'll just make a mental note not to get that in the future. But I still think this place has tons of redeeming qualities and after looking at some other reviews I'd love to try some of their other non sushi dishes too.

I wish my second experience was as soon as my first. We arrived at 7pm on a Friday... the same time and day as last week. Tonight we had to wait for a few minutes to be acknowledged & a couple more to be seated. Once we were seated, it took about 5 minutes for someone to come around for our drink order. Other issues I ran into: - For my sushi order, I ordered 4 rolls, but only two came... so I waited a few minutes and then confirmed with a waitress. She apologized. But then 3 rolls showed up, one I definitely didn't have an intention on ordering. My "people pleaser" side came out so I said it was fine. But this extra roll made me feel forced to over eat something I didn't enjoy (so I wasn't charged for food leftover) - I ordered 7 pieces of sashimi (3 eel, 2 salmon, one Tobiko) - instead, 2 eels came, 2 salmon, and 2 Tobiko) - after asking for our check, the staff forgot to bring back our card (just brought our receipt to sign) - lukewarm bottled water (not an issue if you don't mind drinking water at that temp) All this aside, my husband's order was perfect. No issues at all. Another note: The ambiance was much busier & much louder this time.

$25 all you can eat sushi that is made to order. The sushi was pretty tasty and came out quickly. The service was quick and multiple people asked if we needed anything. I would come back if I were in this area again and hungry for quick, fresh sushi.

The service at this restaurant was good, but I felt like I was being watched the entire time I was eating. The rolls came out quick, however the downside is that amount of pieces that come out with each selection. I'm used to getting 4-6pcs per order but almost every roll was 8pcs. I didn't like this because I like having a variety. I would go back for the green tea ice cream even though it was very sweet.

Stumbled onto Miya and I am so happy I did! I stopped in at an awkward time so it was pretty empty and I was immediately sat. The place is very clean and the staff was friendly. I was shocked to find out that their AYCE was full rolls and not a few small pieces. They have so many options to choose from and it was very tasty. Only thing I would state, don't waste your time on their lumpia, it's all dough. Definitely try the sushi sandwiches!! All other items were pretty good and I left very full. Definitely worth it!!

Amazing food. Friendly and efficient service. All you can eat. Yes, all you can eat (but you can just order off the menu, if you want to) Easy to find, plentiful parking, closed on Tuesday. I don't know why, but my family just really has a fun time when we visit. Maybe it is because there are no restrictions on the menu or the great service or the family atmosphere. Whatever it is It works. Food favorites: Shumai - delicious. Ma La Dumpling - good too Cheese Wonton - no idea why, but I love this dish. Vegetable tempura - outrageously good. Crab tempura - my favorite. Shrimp teriyaki - not my favorite. Avocado peanut roll - love this at other places, but not here. Fried rice - popular dish, but I have not had it. Edison roll - #1 most ordered roll for a reason. Shrimp tempura roll - another good one. Green tea ice cream - my daughter's favorite. Food comes out fast, so put a few items in, gauge how hungry you are and put in more orders. Nobody is going to rush you here. It has become a weekly stop for me. Individual sushi pieces are good other places. But not a real fan here. I love their appetizers, all the tempuras and a few of the gigantic rolls.

Sometimes in food life, you are just destined to try something new. Sitting down and looking at the menu, I was eyeing the Sautéed Shanghai Bokchoy for some light eats (I was later told it was not available). So Option B, Romaine Lettuce in Oyster Sauce was my next option; was also told not available. Third time has to be the charm, I went with Eggplant in Garlic Sauce. Man, what a game "mind blown" changer. Most of time, in most Asian Restaurants, eggplant dishes normally are just sautéed then added into special sauces. The taste is similar and predictable. The Eggplant dish at Miya Sushi, it looks like the Eggplant is lightly battered, fried and added onto the sauce. The result is nothing but deliciousnessnessness. I could literally eat another plate of it. Okay moving on... the other dishes we ordered and tried were pretty good as well. They actually have an AYCE Sushi which I am planning to try here soon. Will update review after... I'm looking forward to coming back here.

You know in all my foodie adventures I had never eaten in an All you can eat sushi place, I'm not sure why, maybe because im not the biggest sushi fan, or I'm kinda sketchy on the cheap seafood ya know...but friends invited me here and guess what!? It was great! Really enjoyed the whole experience! Ok it starts with the little paper menu they give you, you mark off what you would like, and it's so many options! Salads, soups, apps, noodles, entrees and lastly sushi! You know I had to try a little of everything, I was trying to be cautious of ordering too much cause they can charge you for wasting food, but I got a salad, soup, couple apps, entrees and 3 sushi rolls, that's just to start! Lol! This was for all of us to share too, and my little one also! The soup salad apps were all good about normal from what I would expect, but when the sushi rolls came out I was very impressed! These were beautiful fresh rolls! nothing that had made beforehand and full rolls! They tasted great and I loved being able to order what ever rolls I wanted with out any fear of sticker shock! Really enjoyed the sushi! love the pink soybean paper rolls! To end we also got dessert I went with the green tea ice cream, which was delicious! Smooth and creamy like vanilla with a slight earthy taste, really good! Bill came and it was $25 for adult, and $10 for child AUCE, I didn't mind at all paying this price for the quality we receive, will return with an empty stomach, lol!

Today's birthday celebration for a friend turned out very good as we found this place by accident! The vegetarian sushi was somewhat limited but the kitchen entree was great. Very much enjoyed the freshness of the food. We had two servers both of which were attentive for the most part. I will say I did take a little bit longer than I had hoped for the refill on the ice tea but when I told him I wanted extra ginger they were spot on. You can never have enough ginger. The restaurant itself was clean, comfortable, and spread out. Overall, I will definitely be back.

The service is phenomenal and the prices are fair during the weekend because it's dinner all day but you get lobster rolls and some extremely quality sashimi as well. The service is quick and the ambience is beautiful too with genuine Japanese art. Definitely a go to spot of ours. Always will go with the AYCE (All you can Eat) option to get the most bank for our buck since we're big backs!

    Tuna Roll

I am a sushi connoisseur and could barely get down this sushi. I ordered for pick-up because when I went on their website, it said pick-up only although I saw here on Yelp that they do AYCE. I spent $26 on 2 tuna rolls, 2 avocado rolls and a small wonton soup. Knowing that they do AYCE, I'm surprised that the cost was so high when you can do AYCE for 14.99? When walking into the restaurant itself, there were 2 doors on each side with no proper signage to tell you where to pick-up. There were only 4 customers in the building which made me feel weird because at other AYCE sushi places- they are packed during lunch... that should have been my first red flag. I did ask the gentleman who helped me if there was soy sauce and wasabi in the bag and he seemed bothered by me double checking. When opening the actual bag, there was 2 soy sauces that had barely any in each and there was only a small amount of wasabi in the tuna roll tray. The wonton soup was absolutely awful-- the wonton itself was rubbery and the meat inside tasted off and came to me lukewarm not even hot... I didn't finish it. The avocado roll was probably the best of the 3 things I ordered but I think it's hard to mess up a vegetable roll. Some of the avocado was brown and should have been cut out but they strategically placed the sushi so the "bad" part wasn't visible from the top. Tuna rolls are my preference and while they had a good fish to rice ratio, it was still nearly inedible. I only ate a couple pieces of each and felt sick to my stomach. I don't like to leave negative reviews but I'm sorry to say that I wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy.

Top to bottom: spicy shrimp tempura, spicy salmon, shrimp tempura, shrimp topped with salmon, and shrimp with eel.

I know I'm probably not gonna be popular with my opinions, but they are in fact my opinions in my feeling about what I had today. Food--4/10. If you know me, I hate to leave less than stellar reviews for places. But I was very unimpressed by the food here today. Almost everything was bland and locked flavor. The gyoza was over fried, the hibachi items were cooked well but lacking all seasoning, the mango rock roll tasted like nothing, and the spicy shrimp tempura roll had neither flavor nor spice. The only decent role was the sweet potato roll. I'll also say even the wasabi had no kick. I literally took the entire dollop and put it on a roll just to try to get some flavor from it. Also for the tempura items, they don't bring you any kind of Ponzu or dipping sauce. All you get is the regular Yum Yum sauce or soy sauce. I left my review at a four out of ten because all of the food items were prepared for the most part aesthetically, pleasing, visually and fully cooked pour the parts that were cooked. Service--7/10. The staff here was definitely amiable. I wouldn't say they were very friendly. They kind of addressed everything very mechanically. Even the food when it's brought out multiple orders are brought out by one person, and they dropped them at various tables without saying a word. I did not get a refill of my drink for the first time until the end of my meal. Atmosphere--9/10. This is one of the few times I have not taken a picture of the interior of a restaurant to share the atmosphere. Usually, I avoid taking pictures when there's a good amount of people around because I feel like I'm invading their time with their meal and companions. So all I can really say about this location is it is generally pleasing. It's it's clean. I'll be a bit crowded with the tables. The location is in a strip mall in Mandarin and parking is a little weird. The parking spots are very close though. All know it was an OK visit for the price. I feel like in my personal opinion there is much better sushi out there for only a couple dollars more per person for the buffet. But based on the crowds, they're even today it's obviously a popular location. It just was not my idea of good sushi.
