Underwhelming & very much overhyped. Wish I could give zero stars. First when we came in, we were greeted & seated right away. We got seated at a booth in the corner (not a problem to me), but when I sat down, I noticed a smell. It was musty, sour, pungent. I was about to ask to be moved to another table but before I did that, I moved to the other side of the table and found no smell issue. But when I grabbed the menu to take a look, the smell came back. That's when I realized that the smell was coming from the menu. Already off to a semi-rocky start.. Anyways, we ordered & when the food came out, the salmon still had its skin on it. Not exactly what I was expecting.. When another one of our food items came out, I found a hair on top of the fish. Another issue was that our server stopped checking up on us for some reason? We couldn't find him anywhere & no one came by to get our next order. We felt like we were being ignored by the staff. We finally found our server & he was busy talking with the other staff. He never came back to ask us if we wanted to order again. We had to call him over. Very inattentive staff. Definitely not the experience I was expecting. Especially since I have seen a couple of reviews on TikTok about this place. I will NEVER be coming back here. read more

Seaweed salad is tastes normal and cold, which is unexpectedly something you can't take for granted anymore. Takoyaki was hot, a little crispy, and tasty. The fish katsu is a small filet battered, fried and sliced. It was hot, tasty and more delicate than I expected. The sauce tasted like more like brown curry sauce than tonkatsu sauce. The spicy shrimp skewers are (2) small shrimps on skewers that are covered in a gingery-spicy thin sauce, which tasted a little strange to me. Sashimi looked really good, but my salmon did have a bone. Octopus tentacle sashimi was plump but very watery tasting. The white tuna and surf clam sashimi slices were okay. My tamago slice was thin but good. The scallop nigiri was plump but a little tasteless. The masago nigiri was strangely a little warm. The unagi nigiri was okay. The hot green tea comes in a cute iron pot that has a sticky handle. It would be nicer if the cup was not plastic, but it's a cute size. You can get a free refill of the pot too. I liked the Jolly roll because you can taste the different ingredients. The Bon Temps roll has a lot of favorite items in it, but it all mixes together and nothing stands out. The banana tempura is about 4" long, halved, lightly battered and comes with whipped cream and a cherry. The vanilla, mango and green tea ice cream comes as small scoops in a bowl. read more

Just bad overall nothing shined we did the ayce raw sushi was warm and tasted off like raw fish was under a warmer avocado on sushi rolls were brown like they had been prepared days in advance chicken in the teriyaki was drier than the Sahara and to add it all together we had to wait about 10-15 minutes between drinks appetizers and even longer for food wish I had those two hours of my life back just didn't taste fresh or well prepared will not be back Chi Japanese cuisine way better in all categories and doesn't make me feel like throwing up after read more

Literally where should I start?? This place has quickly become my favorite place for all you can eat sushi in Spring, rival only to Haya. The thing I really like about this place is that it doesn't really matter what time of the day it is, because you can order the dinner menu at lunch time. Lunch menu is about $20, The dinner menu is right around $30. Both of them are really good, but obviously you get more options in the dinner menu. For me, the shrimp skewers and the dinner price worth it. Both times I went, I had the pleasure of having My-Lee as my service provider and she was honestly out of this world and I would come here again just for her amazing service you. She never let my drink get low, she always made sure to have refills on hand and she quickly brought out what we needed. She also gave great suggestions to someone who, like me, loves sushi but doesn't really venture out too much outside of it things that I already know (get the seafood soup! And the mango sushi!). I have not gotten the presentation of the sushi like I see in the pictures on here, but the sushi that I get does look great everything has been fresh and everything has tasted great as well. Food is good, if your doing the all you an eat option, portions are more along the ways of sample sizes if you're getting sashimi or tempura items, other items are okay. If you have a big appetite you can order more than one serving at a time, the menu tells you what the quantity is so you can decide. The servers don't often come back to take orders often (We have dined here multiple times, except for two separate occasions, it was the same service experience). Bring pen and paper (recommended by one of the servers) to order multiple portions and any items you know you'll want when you give your order the first time. Price was around $30.00 per person, does not include tax or tip. read more

Decided to try this spot, and also, to do the all you can eat option. With beverages, so many food choices,And desserts included, it was a very reasonable value. We had avocado salad, edamame, 3 different sushi rolls ( TNT roll was our favorite!), tomago, tofu, 2 flavors of fried rice ( liked pineapple rice the most), gyoza dumplings,and a few other dishes. There are soups, tempura and more, that we decided to try next time, to save room for dessert. Our waiter, Thomas, was attentive, friendly and really made our visit with his great sense of humor! We shared one of each dessert, and enjoyed them all. With a glass of wine and sake included, we were happy and very full, by the end of our evening here. Fabulous Date Night! We went Friday night, both ordered All U Can Eat sushi. Server Leon made all of the menu recommendations and he was STELLAR! I was happy they had my Kendall Jackson chardonnay, and the food was excellent! Great vibe, it was bustling with people, but super clean, service great, and we were absolutely thrilled. Happy night! It remains one of the best dining experiences one can have for the price. I have out of town people who always want to go here when they're with me, and the restaurant layout is beautifully maintained. We had five people come for their Saturday night and their wait wasn't too bad, given there is no reservations/ call ahead available. Beryl, our waitress, was absolutely fabulous and provided everyone in our party an amazing experience. It looked like she had quite the amount of tables she had to look after too. I found out about this place when I noticed it was open from across the street as I go to the gym that is nearby, after weeks of saying I was going to try it with my wife I am glad we finally did it. I started off by ordering a tuna roll and a spicy tuna roll, and both were great you can tell the fish is very fresh. I also tried their salmon and tuna sashimi (not pictured) and the fish just melts in your mouth. The presentation for the plates is very nice as well, and over all the place is very clean. Let me start by saying I have been here numerous times and food has always been good. Came in this evening at 9:15pm knowing that they close at 10:30. My girlfriend and I rushed to order all of our items with the server in order to not be those people keeping them open late. I don't know if it's because they closed in an hour, but all of our food was very cold and did not taste good at all. Kinda disappointing honestly. The icing on the cake was my girlfriend's soup had a pretty big piece of hair in it, which ruined both of our appetites. Honestly upsetting paying $80 for cold food and a hair in our food. read more

I was so happy to find out that Sushi Masa opened a second location in Spring. The quality of the food is just as good as their Sugarland location. I regularly visit Sushi Masa for their All You Can Eat menu. For a reasonable price, you're able to order appetizers, sushi, rolls, hibachi entrees, and dessert to your heart's desire! The AYCE also includes one drink, including house wine, sake, or domestic beer. Which is a great deal! The sushi is fresh and the portions are generous. The sushi comes with a good ratio of fish to rice. I love the variety of of the menu as well. I appreciate that the presentation and quality of the dishes are always consistent and perfect, despite how many the kitchen has to make. The restaurant itself is very spacious and clean. First time today with friends and everyone seemed to enjoy what we had . Presentation were far way better than CHI , server is very friendly and polite. All the food that we had ordered were satisfying.I love the miso soupit may not be that authentic but to me its ok. You may try tuna tartar, I-10 roll and most of the raw fish are ok too. Try their ice cream ( green tea and ) You may just check on the photos that i have posted for most of it were good. We may come back again Price is reasonable 30$ dinner The place is big and clean. As a sushi enthusiast, I find this place just ok. It's not the best but not crap either. My husband and I had the tuna tataki which was not bad, the tuna melts in your mouth, however they could've seared it longer on the outside. We also had spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura roll, sashimi and tamago nigiri. The rolls were fine, the sashimi were fine but I recommend eating wasabi with it, and the tamago nigiri was ok, although we thought it was going to come in an order of 2 not 1. We also had seaweed salad which was good but the portion was kind of small. If you eat a lot of sushi and aren't too picky about your sushi, this place is great for all you can eat sushi! The service however could have been better, even with lots of people working, they didn't really pay much attention to us (it's possible they were paying more attention to people who were there for AYCE) and the ambiance felt like a casual restaurant like Chili's, not somewhere I would recommend for a date. read more

Worst place ever. DONT EAT HERE a fly crawled out of the inside of our sushi roll onto the shrimp tempura and died on the table. We sent it back and when we got our "new plate" it was the same plate they didn't remake it just gave us the same one back. Pictures down below. We left and didn't eat there. read more

Came here for lunch during the week - they have a great space with ample seating. Our waitress was very polite and attentive. I got the 2 sushi roll lunch special - I tried the shrimp tempura roll and spicy tuna roll - very well priced for a good amount of food. It came with your choice of soup and I had the miso. The shrimp tempura was cooked well and the spicy tuna was tasted great and was freshly prepared. This lunch hit the spot! Next time I might venture to try their all you can order sushi buffet. I highly recommend this place! It's a hidden gem in our neighborhood. read more

this place was beautifully decorated but the 2 things i had a problem with was that 1 I put extra chili oil in my ramen and it was too spicy and 2 I lost an argument in this place and as a person that dosent lose arguments with my friends I felt my aura decline here. Overall sushi was acceptable and the chicken fried rice chicken was slimy asf lowk but service phenomenal. read more

This place is an absolute hidden gem and once discovered, other all-u-can eat sushi restaurants will not compare. The service is on point, they listen to their clientele's concerns and provide the best recommendations. Even the timing of the sushi coming out to the table was perfect. The place is good for family, large crowds and those that venture into the venue alone. They take the time to seat parties in the right section to keep everyone happy and noise level for the appropriate crowd. This is a must try when you are in the Spring/Woodland, TX area. Here is the cherry on top of this wonderful place. One drink is included in the all-u-can eat price. The drink can be a sake, soda or beer....imagine that?!?! Second time in for the ayce dinner. The cuts of sashimi are generous. Overall quality for the quantity is A+. Tyson (bartender/server) was probably the best server I've had in any establishment in a year! And in my previous experience, the manager on duty (female, sorry unsure of her name) gave an equally great dining experience. Will be back and recommended to friends! read more

My FAVORITE All You Can Eat Sushi Spot for $32.95!! Has such an extensive selection from sashimi/nigiri, sushi rolls, appetizers, noodles, soups, desserts, you name it! They even let you get your first alcoholic beverage free as part of the AYCE package! Does not disappoint!! The place is also very cute and picturesque. Well, it was recommended due to someone visiting another location out of state. In general food was mediocre in taste, and pricey for what was served. Service was slow, your food arrives way before your drink order. Adult Drinks were not available as advertised on menu. And waitstaff will be very clear with all the up-charges within menu prices. If all you can is order, an up charge will be imposed for non finished ordered food ( very interesting ). Portions were reasonable, just taste was not there. Ample seating and plenty of parking around this establishment. Family friendly ambiance and good for parties. read more

Food is 5 stars and the lunch all you can eat is a great value if you are a big eater. The place is clean and service was friendly. My only complaint would be the time it took to get some of the food. I get that it's not premade, but in the future I'll order most of what I want at one time. Customer service was excellent the entire time and they will even come to your table and take your plate away as if they are full service, which they aren't . I also ordered a slice of coconut cream pie, or at least that's what they said it was. It had no cream in it and appeared to be a coconut custard pie not that different than the one I make at home. It was delicious as well.

Dined in the other day with my husband and baby girls, and all I can say is I am more than satisfied! My family loves sushi but it's so hard to find good AYCE in Texas. We are from Las Vegas, so most cases have been disappointing us in the Spring/Houston area-- but now that we've found this gem we aren't going anywhere else. I don't typically leave reviews, even when I'm very satisfied with an experience, but our server was just amazing. First time here, and am impressed! Super fresh sushi- I've had 3 rolls so far, each one bettter than the next. The ambiance is great, good music and not too loud.
