I came for a lunch with a colleague and the food was delicious! I got the spicy lamb salad bowl and a drink which was about $19. I like the food and selections however I feel like it was a bit overpriced. The only reason I took off one star is the location is not very clean. Paired with Mexican Coke, it was a tasty meal. I took one star off because tables and chairs were dirty and that affected enjoyment of meal. We have been to this Cava many times, and the food is always consistently good. We typically opt for the two meat bowl, with the large variety of options to customize our bowl. While the food is good, the service is a bit inconsistent. For example, on a recent visit my wife was the first in line and proceeded to order her two meat bowl as usual. When she got to the checkout, the server charged her for an extra side of meat. When questioned about the extra charge, the server said that we had to let them know we wanted to split the meat selection between two half-portions in advance. Otherwise, they always put two full portions of each meat choice on the bowl. That was the first time we had ever heard such nonsense, but the server was insistent, and the others working the line did not show any concern either. Anyway, on other occasions we've had them forget to put the Nan and have to explicitly remind them that Nan comes with our order. We'll go back here, but wish they would improve their staff training to provide a consistent experience. read more

First time trying Cava and I can see this being a routine lunch for me. I'll start with, the food was PHENOMENAL! It kind of felt like Chipotle in here but with different menu options. Staff members were helpful and patient; it took me a while to build this bowl. I chose chicken and lamb as protein options, can't remember what the other ingredients were. I came to this Cava location at 7:30pm on August 2nd at the Market at Springwoods Village. This is not the first time I come to Cava, but it is the first time I have ever experienced such hostile attitude from employees. First, the african american girl treated the customer in front of me with the most UNPLEASING attitude ever, he was being nice to her and trying to lighten up the mood because they had to restock things every 5 seconds, then the girl accidentally dropped this guys bowl over the rest of the serving options, the guy was saying it was okay and to not worry about it, but she made it seem like it was his fault that she dropped his bowl and she was making very dismissive facial expressions. I am next in line and the girl just stands there, doesn't greet me, or doesn't let me know she is ready to take my order. Just stands there looking lost. If you don't like working at a food place, find another job. It's no ones fault you're either having a bad day or don't want to be employed here. Get your attitude together before coming to work! I am so disappointed of this customer service, it's a waste of good location with the nasty attitude these kids have. read more

Had the tahini Caesar bowl with chicken, hummus, tomato, and onion tahini, Caesar an included pita and a spindrift sparkling water. Caesar bowl was delicious. Chicken had so much flavor and kind of spicy. I wish it was a little less spicy because my gut can't really handle that anymore. But I like the flavor and it was pretty moist not dry at all. Veggies were crisp and tasted fresh. Hummus was good and blended nicely. Dressing was a little bit spicy. That actually might've been what made the chicken spicy not sure. Didn't like the spindrift. It had a bitter taste to it. Sorta like I was just drinking carbonated water. Overall, I think I would definitely order from here again Next time I want to try a dessert read more

I am writing to formally complain about an extremely unprofessional experience I had. I am allergic to Caesar, and despite informing the employee, a young lady accidentally added Caesar to my bowl. I politely asked for it to be remade, but instead of resolving the issue, she brought over the manager, who I believe was named Emanuel. From the start, he was very rude and dismissive, immediately blaming me and saying it was my fault for not addressing it earlier. He showed a great deal of attitude, refused at first to remake my bowl, and made the situation uncomfortable and embarrassing. I had to kindly ask multiple times before he finally agreed to remake it, and even then his behavior remained disrespectful and unprofessional. Allergies are a serious matter, and no customer should be treated this way for requesting a correction due to a health concern. This experience was unacceptable and does not reflect the level of service I expect from CAVA. The rice was also super crunchy and not done. read more

My college kids rave about Cava's so we decided to give it a go. When you walk in it feels like... a Chipotle's or Freebirds. You start off by ordering either a bowl or a pita wrap. There's tons of options and as it was our first time, we weren't sure where to start. The guy behind the counter was really nice, super helpful. I told him I enjoy spicy foods and so he recommend something for me, and then something a little less spicy for my wife. She ordered a bowl, trying to be more healthy. I can tell you now she regretted it. Not because her bowl wasn't good, but because the pita bread is just so good. You get a little pita when you order a bowl but I think most people will wish they had more pita bread. The chicken was cooked really well. Spicy, juicy, tons of flavor. All the ingredients were really fresh and the server let us sample several of the various dressings. The garlic dressing is YUM. It's so good I'd go back just to dip pita bread in it. It's that good. Had to wait way past the time they told me falafel would be available just for no one to tell me it was there while I waited. The portions get smaller and smaller. There is barely any lettuce in these salads anymore. Then on top of that they didn't give me my pita even though I saw him put it to the side for my salad. I love Cava so much i eat here all the time every chance i get. I usually have no complaints but today was different this is a warning im not saying don't go to Cava but if you're being served by Sergio i would suggest waiting until his off days. Cava is usually known for its fair portions of food but Sergio serves the food like he gets to take the left overs home at the end of his shift. I always get rice and spinach and after addressing Sergio's baby scoops for the first time in my entire history of going to cava both in Florida and Texas Sergio charged me for "extra" rice his idea of extra rice is the amount that I have been accustomed to. I watched as he prepared other customers bowls with the same baby scoops. If I walk in and see Sergio im going to walk back out every time. I would like to add an honorable mention to the employee J. He was kind and apologetic. We asked for fresh Pita Chips and when Sergio tried to hand us chips that were sitting out for a minute and J set them aside and got us fresh ones without us having to repeat ourselves. I'll never stop loving Cava but this was a pretty aggravating experience I hope it doesn't happen again. read more

Be careful with the tiny black lentils , and rice, it's not alway cook. Someone thakes it off the fire too soon. That hurts teeth. This location constantly disappoints me. For the most part, the staff is pretty friendly. But pickup orders are consistently incorrect. I'd say about 75% of the orders I've placed online have had a missing item, whether it be a missing topping, no pita bread that was requested, or missing dressing. The only reason I go to this location is due to the close proximity of where I live. The woodlands location never ever disappoints like this location on Spring Stuebner. I believe the staff at this location needs to attend some kind of professional development or in-service on creating online orders. Simple literacy skills seem to be lacking from some of the staff. And yes, I do check my order prior to leaving and I constantly have to request my missing items. I shouldn't have to do that as a consumer. Please do better. read more
