    Greek Feta Salad
    Germanie J.

I ordered this Greek salad through DoorDash. It was pretty good overall, however I wish it came with more dressing. I made my own dressing at home to add to it. Other than that, the ingredients were fresh and the overall flavor was really good.

Fabulous experience ordering DoorDash. I could not believe they gave me 4 large pita bread halves for one kebab plate. Roasted red pepper dip was fresh and delicious and perfectly garnished. The Greek salad was also so fresh. The garlic sauce was to die for. The meat was mouthwatering!!!! I will definitely be ordering again. Probably the best Mediterranean food I've ever had!

We visited Zara's for a weeknight family dinner a couple of weeks ago. When you walk in you can tell the restaurant ambiance is relaxing and you can tell the establishment is very clean. The service was excellent and the waiter took great care in explaining menu options, giving recommendations and ensuring my gluten allergy was accommodated. All of our food was delicious, we will definitely be back!

Nice restaurant , music was a little loud, but nothing that interfered with conversation. Food was excellent. We had three different types of hummus. Euro meat with what appeared to be fresh pita bread, it was still hot! Service was a little slow, but nothing to be concerned about.

The food is great! Everything that we ordered is all on point. The traditional hummus, fried kibbeh, beef and lamb shish kabob and even the swamarma lover platters are good. The server is attentive and friendly.

Zara's Signature Lamb Chops (4 Pcs) [Partially eaten after delivery]

Ordering food delivery is always a crapshoot. You read the reviews knowing sit in service is often different from to go or delivery service, but you take the chance. The lamb chops were a bit fatty and overcooked, but flavorful. They also were not as meaty as those pictured by eat-in diners. The rice was a bit dry. The salad was good, but thankfully I had my own utensils, as the requested utensils and napkins were not included. As they were delivering to a hotel, that should have been double checked. I really wanted to love this meal after all the glowing reviews. If in the area again, I'd try dining in to see if I can experience what the other reviewers have. I just can't recommend them for delivery. Not today.

The food was flavorful and exactly what i was craving. The soft, warm pita bread with my hummus really hit the spot. The meats were seasoned well, but I wish the chicken was a little , but it was seasoned well. We were promptly greeted and seated upon walking in, and our orders taken shortly after. Our waiter was very nice and helpful with answering our questions regarding the different menu items. The atmosphere was casual with a with a unique and colorful Mediterranean flare. Can't wait to try this place a second time.

We wanted to try 1 dish of each specialty, so we ordered of course a Lamb Karahi, this is a very special dish, comes in a hot wok like plate, very traditional Pakistani, the flavor, texture and aroma of this dish is so unique, definitely a must, we asked level 2 spice and it was wonderful. We also had the Chana Masala, this is the best Chana I've tried, so garlicky, so good, the chickpeas had the perfect texture as well, again mild on the spiciness, just great. We also had Chicken Szechuan chaomein, great noodles, the Szechuan flavor on this dish was just spot on. I'm so happy we came to try this place, I can confidently say and confirm this is one of the best places to eat in Houston. I can't recommend just one dish, but don't skip the Chana Masala.

A 2-year Michellin star BBQ joint was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. My friends and I got there around 10am and were lucky enough to grab a number. The number secures your spot in line but don't worry if you show up and they run out, there's a spot on the porch where the non-number line starts. We ordered moist brisket, garlic sausage, and the beef rib. For sides, we went with mac and cheese and beans. Everything was superb! The brisket melted in your mouth, no knife needed. The sausage had a nice snap to it and get great flavor. The bark on the beef rib was *chef's kiss*. The mac and cheese was creamy while the beans had a nice sweet and tangy flavor. The service is also great! While we were eating, staff would regularly check all of the tables to check if anyone needed anything. The staff taking our order also chatted with us about other BBQ spots we've been to. Everything was such a great experience and the quality of the food is 100/10!

All of the employees were very friendly and helpful. My fiancée is a lover of BBQ so he wanted to order almost everything on the menu. We ordered brisket, garlic sausage, pork ribs, the whole chicken, baked beans, Mac and cheese, and apple cobbler. My favorites were the pork ribs and apple cobblers. His favorites were the ribs, brisket, cobbler, and baked beans. I loved the cobbler so much I placed an additional order to go.

Sadly, it closed shortly after my visit. But I read in the reviews that this was formerly a Burrito District, so I didn't even realize this was the former Ori'Zaba's until I walked in. So apparently this spot has struggled to keep one concept for whatever reason. The interesting thing about Wise Street Eats is that you can opt to build a healthy bowl with Greek inspirations, or you can do what I did and order the Dirty Mac bowl with fried chicken, mac-n-cheese and cajun fries. I'm a real sucker when restaurants put "Most Popular" on their menu, which made my decision to order this, a quick one. What I will say is that, while I enjoyed the Dirty Mac, in retrospect, I would have preferred if it was a side dish, rather than my entire meal, because it was quite heavy (as one would expect). About halfway through it, I realized I was going to have to bring the energy to take down this valiant opponent. Next time, I'll build a bowl. Or maybe even go with a burger. But I do appreciate the dirty mac and if I was still a man who got hungover, I'd consider it a pretty elite hangover remedy.

I remembered it was nearby, so I told my boyfriend we might as well take advantage of the deal and try somewhere new while we were in the area. When we got there, the place looked renovated. There were a couple tables inside and the ordering counter was immediately on the left when you walked in. The workers at the counter were helpful while we ordered. We both ended up getting the kbbq chicken bowls. My boyfriend got the spicy version and I got the regular with added cabbage because I love the little crunch it gives. The food came out pretty quickly and we decided to eat inside. Honestly, the bowls were good and very filling for the size we ordered. It's a pretty simple meal , rice on the bottom and chicken on top ,but sometimes simple just works. While I was eating it, I kept telling my boyfriend the chicken tasted super familiar and I couldn't figure out why at first. Then it finally hit me, it tastes almost identical to the teriyaki chicken from Panda Express. And honestly, I didn't mind that at all because I actually like that flavor. So if you've had Panda Express teriyaki chicken before, that's probably the closest comparison I could give. One thing that definitely made the bowls even better was adding the soy sauce packets they had on the side. That extra flavor pulled everything together for me. Overall, I enjoyed it. It's not anything super fancy or life-changing, but it was a simple, tasty meal that didn't feel too heavy, which I personally liked.
