I wanted to give a more thorough review since I have now been to Salad and Go multiple times since they opened. The first thing that really stands out to me is their friendly service. I've encountered multiple different employees and they have all shared the same friendliness. Once when the weather was bad an employee even told me to be safe which I really appreciated. The food is always very fresh and very yummy. I never imagined enjoying a salad place this much. My go to order is a traditional breakfast bowl with red salsa, a cold brew with 1/2 and 1/2 and vanilla, and a chicken cobb salad with feta and ranch instead of the bleu cheese. Honorable mention to their BBQ Ranch salad because it's also really good! One thing I really love about this place is that you can get breakfast, coffee and lunch for less than $12. No way. Is this real or am I dreaming? Legit hit up the company and asked them to open a branch in Houston and they just popped up next to my hospital. Talk about my to go lunch and dinner options. I'm so glad I listened to the Instagram girlies and tried Salad and Go. It was very good. The ordering was simple and transparent. And the service is very quick. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Salad. I made a few substitutions due to my personal preference. Man! It was so good!! The chicken was just spicy enough and flavorful for sure. The rest of the ingredients were very fresh. I also ordered the seasonal blueberry basil lemonade...WOW! I might be back every day for that lemonade!! The service was also very pleasant. ((4.5 stars that I'm round up)) I have been patiently waiting for this place to open as I feel like every few weeks I'm on some type of diet. Even though I am not super strict on my diet at all times, I actually prefer to eat veggies because of my blood sugar and getting things that are fried or have bread obviously is not good for blood sugar.  So you can imagine how excited I was to be able to have any place with a drive thru that I could quickly drive by and gets something somewhat healthy to eat. Today I tried the Greek salad with kalamata olives, cucumbers, and cherry tomatoes with feta cheese. I have to say I am pretty happy with the salad I got--the dressing really made it delicious. I thought that it would be a little larger than what I got but I did like things that were in there. I opted for tofu as my protein, but I did not like the smell so I took it out of my salad. I even tasted a little and I have to say that I am not a fan, so I just removed it--no harm, no foul. I wish they had some other options like fish or shrimp to go on top of the salad in addition to chicken and steak, for the pescatarians, hopefully they can add that later or something. They have the longest drive-through I have seen. I also have to add that when they open the window to pay, it smells gross and I don't know why, but it did not smell like cleaners.. it literally just smells bad. Something to be aware of. I have to say that the dressing pouch is difficult to open especially since it was under the tofu and cheese, so it was very slippery and had I not got home and cut it open, there's no way I could have opened it in the car like I had planned on eating. So that's something they need to work out, because most people will be eating in the car. I would also like to add that they should put the dressing packet on top of the box so you don't actually have to put your fingers inside of the salad to dig out the dressing, because that can be gross. This was my first experience with Salad and Go, and I enjoyed it very much. I ordered the Greek salad with extra dressing and buffalo chicken as a wrap so I could eat on the go. I couldn't believe how massive it was. I also ordered their coffee with cream and flavored syrup which was like $2.50, again surprised at how good it was ! I have been to another location since and did not order my wrap with extra dressing and it was very dry so I won't make that mistake again. I also tried out their Steak (at a different location) which is an upcharge and wouldn't do that again, it was very bland and fatty. Not for me. That buffalo chicken though is perfect, very thin and not full of cartilage like a lot of places do with their chicken. Highly recommend! read more

By far the best salad I've ever had. My husband & I were blown away by home flavorful these salads are. We ended up shared both of them. The Roasted Autumn salad had sweet potatoes, artichoke and the balsamic vinaigrette dressing was delicious! I had the Cobb salad with mozzarella cheese and it was fresh small rolled balls of mozzarella! The ranch dressing taste as if it was from scratch and not that sit on the shelves mess! I called Kendrick and let him know how good it was and happy we are. The staff answered and were very professional and helpful. This is by far our favorite for salads. I have been to Salad and Go probably more than a handful of times now and I love it. They have a drive thru with two lanes and I've never waited in line longer than 5 minutes. Very quick and friendly customer service. My salads and soup have always been high quality and delicious. My favorite salad is the BBQ Ranch Salad with the BBQ Ranch Dressing. It's amazing how they have managed to make the dressing have this smokey BBQ flavor. I also love their minestrone soup. The soup is also nice and hot and full of delicious flavor. The prices are very reasonable and their menu items are healthy, which is an added bonus. I also enjoy their cold brew. You get a large cup of it for a very reasonable price and you can customize it with different milk and syrup options. I highly recommend Salad and Go, especially if you are looking for a quick healthy option. read more

The Thai dressing comes on the side because it contains peanuts - I appreciate their effort to be inclusive to those with food allergies! I'm so excited this place is finally open! I visited on their opening day and have been back daily since. I started with their cobb salad with chicken, the portion size was great and surprisingly very inexpensive. I actually did not expect to see such large portions of chicken, bacon and avocado for the price , but I was pleasantly surprised. The dressing nicely complemented the salad, I usually need extra but not in this case, it was just enough. The drive thru is a bit of a maze and signage would be helpful , (ie there is a different line for pick up / online orders) service is extremely pleasant but a little slow, I'm sure they are working through first week dynamics. Having said all that, the true star of the show are their drinks...coming from someone who spends an awful lot on drink's daily, what a bargain! I've tried the frozen strawberry lemonade, cucumber mint lemonade as well as the Arnold Palmer, each refreshing 24 oz drink is only $1.50 and they are all delicious, refreshing and absolutely beat those $10 venti's. I've found myself stopping by this week for drinks more than once a day . I'm happy to add this place to my regular routine, at least it's a healthier alternative. read more

I used to LOVE Salad and Go when I lived in Arizona and they were everywhere. The menu options here are a bit different, in that you are unable to select choice of greens and toppings (maybe you can, but the option isn't on the menu board). But I will say when I discovered this one on Spring Stubner, I was totally stoked. Is it close to my house? No. But do I go at least two or three times a month? Absolutely! Because it's the tastiest salad ever. And the employees are super cool. The options are delicious and it's not a $20 salad like some of the other places are. And I've noticed that there's another one coming into the woodlands soon over near Costco! So that one will be even more convenient! If you haven't tried salad and go, I highly recommend it because they really are fabulously fresh salads. And they should be readily accessible more so than some of the other fast food options that you see on every corner. I can't speak to the ambience because I don't believe they even have indoor dining, but I will say you can see in from the drive-through window and it looks very clean and organized inside so there's that. The salad was basic but it was fresh and the portion was good for the price (6.42). Checked this place out their opening week, they definitely still have alot of work to do but I give them a pass as they're new to the area! Pretty easy drive thru system, you simply order at the speaker then pay and grab your food when you get to the window. The person who took our order wasn't really able to answer questions we had about the menu due to lack of knowledge for the menu, but once again it's a new shop so I don't expect perfection right away. We ordered the Cobb Salad and Jalapeño Ranch wrap. Proportions were actually amazing, ESPECIALLY for the price. Both items including drinks came out to be $17! You can't beat that when comparing to similar salad places. The quality of their ingredients is an absolute 10/10, however flavor profile of their salad dressing needs work. My Jalapeño Ranch wrap had no jalapeño hint at all and all around the ranch was actually pretty bland, so I used ranch from my fridge to amp it up a bit! I should also mention that items on the menu are named after the ranch dressing that's provided with your order!! I will definitely be giving this place more visits, it definitely has potential once they shake off the new shop jitters. read more

No exaggeration, I sat at the menu waiting for someone to take my order while the lane next to me continued to take the next 6 orders from cars that got there way after me. I wanted to give Salad & Go a 2nd chance from my previous review last May. I will not be back a 3rd time because the same irritating problems have never been addressed: The dressing is still served in odd plastic bags that are clear and unmarked so you really don't know whether it's what you ordered or not. Plus, they still place the dressing bag directly on top of the salad instead of along side the salad in the to-go sack. That is unsanitary since the customer has no way of knowing where the mystery dressing bag was stored or whether it accidentally fell on the floor. When the dressing bag is retrieved, it has salad pieces stuck to the underside, Ick. Every other salad place has easy-open tear strips to open their well-marked dressing packets, but not Salad & Go, where Scissors are required to open the unmarked bag that was placed on top of your salad. Inconvenient and gross. Customers receive one fork to eat tiny items like corn kernels or bacon bits which require a spoon. You get no knife to cut the large-long leaves of arugula and spinach with stems, so it's inevitable that strands of both will not fit in your mouth, so be prepared to use fingers to finish up. - - A spoon and a knife are considered unnecessary luxuries for Salad & Go customers. These are easy-to-fix customer service failures, yet Salad & Go persists in repeating them. There are too many other competent and sanitary competitors to make a return visit. read more
