We got take out. The chicken shawarma wasn't good at all. The chicken was stale and hard. I had to take it out of the sandwich to have my meal.The greens were not fresh - almost spoiled. On our first visit we had the usual gyro platter and mezze platters, thinking it would be just ok. A little place in a strip center. But our host should have clued us in. A wonderful lady of Mediterranean ancestry and accent. These ordinary dishes were extraordinary. Hot fresh amazing falafel, great hummus and possibly the best dolmades I've ever had. Gyro meat was good. Even the pita was a bit better, lighter. Everything was just better than the other Mediterranean places we usually go in the Woodlands. Our grandmotherly host checked on us to see if we liked everything. It's a smaller menu but man it was good. We will be back for sure. read more

We have been coming to Nadia's since their old location on 2920, and the food is always spectacular! The staff is always very friendly and welcoming, and you really feel like you're dining with friends. My father in law is Lebanese, and he always strikes up a conversation with the owner. Nadia's recently moved to the strip center on Gosling south of 2920. I stopped in to give the new location a look and get lunch. I got the fried cauliflower, a mixed gyro and chicken pita, and the baklava. The fried cauliflower is famous and remains delicious. It was nicely presented on a bed of chopped lettuce and pickled veggies. The yogurt sauce adds depth to the flavor. The pita sandwich was tasty, generous and filling. It comes cut in half and is two good sized servings. It would hold up well and be good for another day or so if you want to save that half for later. At $10 I would say it is a bargain. The baklava was a good representation. Nice crisp layers and yummy hints of cardamom and pistachio. This version is less sweet than many, something I appreciate--baklava can be pretty heavy stuff. A firm bottom that was interesting to bite through. You should not skip this. The new strip center has high ceilings and a modern look. Nadia's decor is subtle and tasteful. Service was fine, you order at the counter and they'll bring your food out. The restrooms (identical but gendered) were clean and ready. My sister and I were looking for a healthy option one night and came across Nadia's. It did not disappoint! The food was so fresh and delicious, restaurant was so clean and welcoming, and the man who checked us out was so kind! He said the baba ghanoush was his favorite and it's now our favorite too! This was my first time visiting Nadia's and I can say I felt so welcome. From customers coming in and customers being there already you can tell they were regulars. Many customers were talking to the restaurant owner with such happiness! The entire ambiance was above expectations! From the positive vibes given & the decor that creates such a beautiful atmosphere. There is a very detail menu when you walk in near the register. It's also on display that DoorDash/uber is an option for this restaurant. The business is in a shared parking lot. I was able to enjoy a chicken shawarma for dinner! Super fresh with a splash of the " hot sauce ( red sauce) ". My daughter also had the grilled chicken kids meal. Once again I took a pic of the item once I took the first bite. Nothing but the best tasting Mediterranean food at Nadias. Today I had Gyro and Baklava. Gyro meat is so well seasoned and flavorful. Pita is soft yet firm enough to hold in the goodness of gyro meat, tomato, cucumber lettuce and pickle . Baklava is divine. Same Nadia's, new location. My daughter and I went in around 6:30 on a Friday night. There was one other party of 6 dining in and one person waiting for a to-go order. We shared the hummus with chicken and a side of rice. It was delicious!! The hummus was smooth, had just amount of spices for my liking, and I really enjoyed the lemon juice and tahini flavors coming through. The chicken was a good amount and had good flavor. The rice...amazing! Basmati rice is my favorite and this was PERFECTLY done...light and fluffy with sautéed Italian vermicelli mixed in. A side of garlic cream sauce comes with it for the chicken but my daughter and I dipped our forks in the sauce then the rice...delicious! We will be back! read more

Ordered the chicken and gyro plate. I'll say this was definitely a lot of food. The people working were friendly. This just wasn't very good to me. The flavor was lacking and there were only canned drinks that costs more than they should have. Wanted this place to be good but I left out feeling like I wasted money. Excellent customer service. Mom & pop shop who welcomed me with great customer service. I did their hummus and gyro sandwich. Gyro was very fresh and the pita was nice and crispy. Food takes a while to get out but THATS GOOD! Tells you they are making everything fresh. For me to find a good gyro I would have to go into the city. Thankful these guys are 7 mins away. read more

I ordered the Steak Kebabs meal and it didn't disappoint. It's was steep at $20, but somewhat worth it. I just wish there was a bit more beef, that's all to make it worth the amount. We love this restaurant. It smells authentic as soon as you come i . The authentic music is playing with the Turkish coffee makers available. The people at the counter are so helpful and the service is very fast. We ordered the gyro hummus which was to die for. They give you plenty of pita bread so don't order more. We ordered the gyro plate with the delicious lamb, potatoes side and Nadia's salad. I order extra dressing because the garlic dressing is to die for. It's casual dining with pretty fast service. I ordered the chicken curry lunch platter which comes with salad, rice & hummus. - Chicken curry (4/5)- quite unique curry sauce (kinda thick, can't place the spices) with tender chunks of chicken. - Salad (4.5/5) - Salad had a garlic dressing/sauce which elevated the basic lettuce salad & made it quite flavorful. - Hummus (3/5) - it was just ok for me. I've had some hummus at other Mediterranean places lately that are really fantastic so those have become my baseline. They have a garlic dip which I ordered as a side item, it's the most unique dip. It's whipped to a mashed potato consistency. It's good, different. When you mix the garlic dip into the hummus it upgrades the hummus flavor. - Lentil soup (3.5/5) I was expecting to have spoonfuls of actual whole lentils but this soup has the lentils puréed so it's just a little thicker than a broth soup with no visible lentils. The flavor is good, I can taste the black pepper (but it's not hot). I just prefer less of a puréed soup. Lots of pita bread was provided. The worker taking my order thanked me for coming back. Hopefully it's not a pattern for them not to be ready when the doors open.

I was so full from the gyro that I only ate one of the potatoes but didn't think it was very lemony at all. Customer service was excellent the entire time and they will even come to your table and take your plate away as if they are full service, which they aren't . I also ordered a slice of coconut cream pie, or at least that's what they said it was. It had no cream in it and appeared to be a coconut custard pie not that different than the one I make at home. It was delicious as well.

The blue fin tuna tostados were delightful and hands down the best dish we had. Ceviche mixto was excellent with a just a hint of heat. I would order these two appetizer dishes again. Main courses consisted of duck 2 ways, redfish with green mole and risotto, spring cavatelli, and grilled shrimp & pork belly. All were delicious and uniquely tasty with the exception of the duck. Mind you, I really like duck and the sliced portions were excellent and perfectly seasoned and moist, but the pate-like accompaniment was not that good, plus the mole sauce was not what I was expecting. Table sides of Brussels sprouts and fried cauliflower were good but nothing special. The Eton Mess with strawberries was simply delicious. Would I go back? Maybe, but not anytime soon.

I've had the opportunity to grow up in the New York, N.J.,and Penn. area of the United States. I have eaten mediterranean food for approximately the past 40 years. I've tried almost all the Greek and Med. Grills within a 200 mile radius of my home in Benders Landing Estates . There are some off of Rayford Road near me, The Olive Oil off of Sawdust , NicoNico's and many more. None of them have the quality and taste as Nadia's. There are 3 reasons I go there about 4 times a month. 1) the food and proportions are the best. 2) their price is less than all the others. 3) you can bring a bottle of wine instead paying 4-6 dollars for some over priced wine that isn't your favorite. ok. I am a fan. The food is amazing!!!!!!!!!!That is why I am giving them 4 stars. However, they need to work on service. The staff is very friendly but tremendously over worked and stressed. They do not have enough staff to handle the amount of people who visit this restaurant. We have had long waits for our food due to this problem. Additionaly, several times in the past, the staff has asked us to repeat our orders while siting at our table because they have forgotten what we ordered. Their ordering system is not functional. They use a standard cash register instead of a proper POS. They have enough customers in order to justify needing one. We keep going back for the food but sometimes double think it because of the wait times. read more

Clerk was angry and upset as if she hates to be there. No eye contact, no greeting, not even answering my question about an order i wanted to place. While it was nice weather outside, we decided to sit indoors and I am glad we did because I noticed some diners outdoors were batting away insects. Our server, Abraham came quickly and took our drink orders while we studied the menu and admired the beautifully decorated interior of the restaurant. Blue is a strong color they have used effectively, there is a large dinging room for a big group just off the main dining room and a bar at the far west end. We ordered some appetizers and they came out quickly, We had a small order (4 pieces) of the Fried Hallumi Cheese and also Kebbeh. Both came with a small sampling of cucumber, tomato and red onion which paired well. The Kebbeh had the most fragrant seasoning, I believe a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and clove. The serving sizes were ample and after trying some we both agreed to save room for the entrees we ordered, my wife had the Gyro Sandwich and I had the Chicken Shawerma, both were wrapped in a super fresh pita that had to be house made. My wife had the regular fries and I had sweet potato which were cooked perfectly, so light and crisp. We couldn't resist ordering some baklava to go, my wife thought walnut sounded good but our server said he felt the cashew was the best so we ordered that. When he brought it out, he said that there were 2 pieces of the cashew but he also added one of walnut at no charge, what a treat. We will be coming back here, the restaurant overall was super fresh and clean, service was great and the food was fantastic.
