Let's just say this is ONE of my favorite restaurants! And I keep coming back because there are…read morealways new items to try (and a few that I keep ordering again)! Whether it is brunch, lunch, or dinner--Bosscat excels in their innovation towards cuisine & drinks alike! Their brussel sprouts and buffalo dip are two classics that I highly recommend. Their dinner options are big enough to share so be cognizant of that. My husbands boss put is on to this place and let's just say, we LOVE LOVE IT HERE--never a dull or bad moment! Service: 100/10 Ambiance: look at the photos? It's obvious! Food: Too good for numbers!!

Who's the Bosscat? You, if you got Rosalie D as your waitress. She was awesome. The decor really…read moregot the old whiskey bar flair. DJ was spinning tunes inside but we opted for outdoor seating on their covered patio as it was a nice day. I gotta say I had some trepidation given our CM's earlier experiences here. But everything turned out just fine on our visit. First off I love that everything on the menu is under $20. That means we can order more. I was a bit worried that out steak and eggs would be tough because I ordered it medium rare and it came out more medium well. It's even cut already so they should've been able to tell how well done it was. But it was still tender which is actually all I really cared about. The Holy Smoked Benedict is not your traditional eggs Benedict. Instead of ham they have slices of pork belly. And it's served on a crispy biscuit (I could taste the crunch) with potatoes with a poached egg on top just like a regular Benedict. My only comment would be a little too many potatoes for my particular liking, but you can just brush them off. With the money we saved we got the beignets. They come in a sack of 5 and with a Meyer lemon curd on top side for dipping that has a dollop of melted marshmallow cream on top. They aren't traditional beignets but are really small biscuits. They tasted hot and fresh, and were nice and fluffy regardless, which again is all I really cared about. Cold water comes in an old whisky bottle and is left at your table so you can pour as much as you want when you want. I really wish more restaurants did this. The place is also now on the InKind app so make sure you sign in and pay with the app if you do that kind of stuff. InKind is free and has occasional offers that make dining even more affordable.

The manager had another prepared and it too was overcooked. However I will say it was very tasty. The bill provided suggested gratuity for different percentages. I paid the 20% gratuity which was listed which was $50.00 and some odd cents. Later I calculated the 20% gratuity from the total bill and the correct tip was $36.00. Beware and calculate the percentage yourself. I didn't mind paying $50 for excellent service; however I felt dubbed and taken advantage of.

Our waitress shortly approached to take our drink and appetizer order. The complimentary bread and butter was delicious; soft, warm and flavorful. I ordered the caviar service to start and it also did not disappoint. For our entrees we ordered 6oz filet medium and 8oz well done. Both were good however my medium was slightly over cooked. We also ordered Brussels sprouts, mac n cheese, and loaded baked potato. Brussel sprouts were a bit overcooked but everything else was fine. Our experience was pretty good! When comparing it to other steakhouses within their tier, they fell just a little short. We also noticed the inconsistencies with how waitstaff tended to tables. Our waitress was good, however the waiter who served the table next to us, went above and beyond! He really gave 5star service just by his level of attentiveness, desire to serve, and going the extra mile. We noticed the vast difference between the two. But overall, it was a good experience.
