Went here for a weekday dinner. Usually I go to Sushi Masa for the AYCE, but this time we weren't hungry enough for it, so we decided to try the Sushi Bridge instead. Honestly, it was a pretty good deal. You get 8 pieces of sushi, 9 pieces of sashimi, plus a Crunchy Roll and Dragon Roll. The fish tasted good, the sushi was made well, and there was a nice variety of different pieces to try. No, it's not the best sushi you'll ever have, but for the price, I really don't have many complaints. Everything tasted good, and I left full. Sushi Masa is a solid sushi spot that's close to home, and even though it's a chain it ain't bad.

AYCE sushi that's actually good? Say no more. Sushi masa always hits the spot when I'm craving sushi! Almost every roll I've tried has been great! The AYCE comes with a drink and dessert. For the price and quality of sushi you get it's such a great deal! Customer service has always been quick and servers are friendly. Plenty of seating!

We arrived at 12:15 on a Sunday and were seated right away. We ordered the Tokyo Twilight which we both enjoyed. For our meal we had the 225 roll and the Death Valley roll. For the cooked sushi lovers the 225 had a nice all around flavor with out being fishy. The Death Valley roll was a bit of a disappointment. It was very creamy and the crawfish were spicy but was missing something that would kick it up to the "that was great" notch. Our server was very attentive and patient as we asked for different menus and took awhile to order. The ambience had a festive atmosphere and even though the restaurant ended up being crowded it never was excessively loud so that we could not hear each other.

Such a cute restaurant! Decorated very nice inside. Servers are friendly and helpful. We got all you can eat which was a great deal $33. The food comes out fast and is great quality! I would only say the tempura wasn't the best. But the sashimi was fantastic! Super fresh and great cuts. The sushi rolls had lots of options and were great. A definite must try place.

Great for Lunch special rolls and it comes with Salad but the Ginger dressing sucks. They also have Acye which is 20.95pp vs 3 rolls is the same price for the same price so you do the math. Came here for dinner acye and quality is no different from lunch. It's always packed. My go to spot in spring for a deal

My friend was on my side of town for a meeting and suggested we grab dinner and suggested sushi! I don't do raw fish it's the texture in my mouth for me lol but I do love a cook roll. Our waiter recommended the all you can eat option for about $35 it was a good deal. FYI the menu is massive, appetizers, regular rolls, specialized rolls, teriyaki, fried rice, desserts, and drinks (beer, wine, soft drinks but not cocktails). The portions are small which I think is intentional so you can order multiple items without getting full fast. Just do overindulge because they do charge for leftover rolls that are not eaten. The food came out quickly and the restaurant is beautiful and great vibe. I enjoyed my rolls except I don't like imitation crab so I will definitely next time ask them to remove that. The only item I didn't like was the tempura chicken very dry and needed more seasoning. Think it's a goood option and it's graduation season so they were busy.

Been here more than a few times for really good sushi and hibachi. The service was really good night. Sometimes it's not so good depending on how busy it is. They have an all you can eat menu even for kids, but we usually get a sushi roll and hibachi. The sushi is good, kinda of small, and I don't like that most rolls have Kani. Never had to wait for a table which is nice. One of my favorites for hibachi.

Why 3 stars? Because the sushi was mostly fine, but there are better options in the area. --- --- --- We have had really good luck at sushi spots within a mile or two or Sushi Masa. One time, we were really close to coming here and made a last second decision to go to another place, and I've thought about coming back ever since. About a year later, it finally happened. I was surprised to find out that there were multiple all-you-can-eat menus. As good as that can be from a value standpoint, the best quality places are not serving up AYCE. I think the cliche ended up being true in this case. I started off with the gyoza and this was easily my favorite part of the meal. I might even go as far as saying that this was the best gyoza I've ever had. It tasted like it was super buttery, yet crisp at the same time. Don't come here without ordering this. 5 stars. Then came the sushi: I ordered the LSU, Out of Control and Yummy rolls. All of them were.... perfectly acceptable, but not remarkable. I was not really impressed with the menu either, as nothing particularly stood out as a must have. Well, one thing on the online menu did: the lobster bomb. But that wasn't available on the AYCE (understandably). LSU 4 stars. Yummy 3.5. Out of Control 3. I also ordered some shrimp tempura and it was easily the worst thing I had. I would give it 1.5 star. Fried Oreos for dessert were very underwhelming. 2.5 stars. All of this adds up to a place I don't necessarily need to return to.

Was so hopeful for this place but their portions are so small and the quality is not as good as other AYCE places. Their Sugarland location has better service and better food IMO. When you walk in, it's a spacious restaurant and has cute decor. The service is so so slow here. They really need to train their waiters a lot better. We've only received maybe 2 out of 5 times visiting this location good service. When I tell you the portions for AYCE are small, they are SMALL. You have to order at least two times as much of the same item especially if it is sashimi. The cooked fried rice and appetizers are good. Their chicken katsu has been the best. The good thing too is that you can get a free drink with AYCE.

Was in the area so we decided to stop in and try their AYCE sushi. From the outside the building doesnt look really big but as soon as you walk in its a beautifully decorated restaurant with lots of different rooms and spaces for large groups or just a dinner for two. The AYCE menu has lots of option and overall everything was pretty good. We really enjoyed their rolls and the service was good. Overall an enjoyable experience and meal.

I'll be honest. I was excited to try out Sushi Masa because I had heard good things about eating here at, but it was a big miss on many levels. The food was okay. We went for lunch and we got the AYCE (all you can eat). The appetizers we ordered came out after 20 mins of waiting. (well 3 out of the 5 of them). We didn't get our salad or tempura shrimp. We ordered a few different rolls and the waiter forgot about our rolls. I had to ask 3 times and finally, he brought us some rolls, but not the ones we ordered. We ate them anyway since we didn't have any food allergies and got tired of waiting. When we finally got 2 of the rolls we ordered one roll literally had only rice and cucumber with eel sauce. The service was super slow and the waiter only came 3 times to our table. We never had the opportunity to reorder and ultimately our waiter just brought our check to the table without asking if we were done or wanted to order more. At that point, we just ended up paying and leaving. The ambiance is pretty cool and lots of tables were available but to be honest, I don't know if I'll go back after this whole situation. I don't like to give low stars and I rarely do but I was honestly disappointed by sushi masa

Very nice environment. Friendly staff. Very loud birthday celebration. All you can eat options was top notch. Sashimi was a very. I've option and having the option to replace rice with krab in the rolls was a big plus. Second time here in two weeks and will definitely become a regular for our family. Yum! We popped in for an all-you-can-eat sushi lunch on a Monday afternoon and left very satisfied. Alex served us, and he was wonderful. A manager checked in with us to make sure everything was up to standard, and a lovely waitress with a different section even took the time to check in with us when she noticed us looking around. She thought maybe we were looking for our server, but we were just admiring the pretty interior of the restaurant. Very sweet of her to make sure we weren't left hanging - I love that the staff works as a team like that! The food was delicious. The Little Tokyo roll was my favorite and the Gyoza was better than any I've had anywhere else. My husband had a lot of different sushi - he said he didn't have a favorite but it was all very fresh and he liked the size of it. As far as rolls, the Masa roll was his favorite. We just moved across town and we were sad to say goodbye to our old favorite sushi spot, but I think we've found a new one! We will be back soon and often. read more

Not a huge fan sushi buffets. That said Masa sushi is not a buffet per-say. They are an all you can eat table service. The sushi was fresh and flavorful and orders were brought quickly. Do not miss the tempura eggplant, it was wonderful. Also try the house salad. The dressing is greasy made with lots of garlic, yumm. Lunch is 20 with a drink and dinner is 30. I don't know about you but I can eat $30 of sushi rolls. The decor is open and reminded me of a many Asian restaurants I have seen. This is where the old 88 Buffett use to be but do not confuse it with the current establishment. read more

The chicken fried rice made me sick to my stomach. It tasted off and smelled weird but I still tried to eat it. After a few bites I threw it away. I could've made a better chicken fried rice with minimal ingredients at the house. Don't recommend. If you just want some fried rice, don't go here. Literally go anywhere else. read more

Highly recommend this place, especially for those with a large appetite. We went for lunch on a Sunday and many people at the table chose the all you can eat option (it is a set menu but with a lot of variety). I personally chose the hibachi plate and got the chicken. The chicken was tender and the fried rice was exceptional. Service was fast and all of our orders were accurate, we had a table of 8 so I was really impressed with their attentiveness and fast service. Decor was fun and the cherry blossom trees were a favorite of the kids. read more

To say we were skeptical is an understatement. But, because of the positive reviews and the high Google and Yelp rating, our group of 10 gave it a shot... everyone LOVED it! For starters, the restaurant is very clean. Also, this isn't your typical "buffet," where the food is all laid out there for everyone to pick at and sneeze on. The servers bring you unlimited amounts of your favorite dishes, and each dish we tried was truly delicious, from sashimi and rolls to tempura and dim sum. Bonus: we saw "deep fried Oreos" and "tempura cheesecake" on the me menu and ordered both... why not? OMG, both were delicious, but those Oreos were mind-blowing! We will definitely be back... with more family and friends. read more

This place is an absolute must!!! Dinner all you can eat is $30.95+tax and the lunch I was told is $20. I loved the service as the waiter was nice and very attentive. He was always checking in if we wanted more rolls, water and asked how we liked it. The environment is so chill! It's well lit and I love the cherry blossom trees decor they have going on! The food was top quality and I love the variety of sushi made to order. Will definitely be coming back read more

The only reason why I'm leaving 3 stars is because of the food. The service was terrible. One refill of water the entire dining experience. We had empty cups for more than half of the time we were there. The pre bussing was non existent. We had to stack plates at the edge of the table. I've been here quite a few times since it opened and never had this kind of service before. I hope it was just an unlucky night because we truly enjoy this place. read more

will admit service was pretty slow but the food was amazing. typical pricing per roll is $11-14 but during lunch hour it's $20 all you can eat. double crunchy roll 10/10 best one shaggy dog close second ambiance is very nice ! love the spacing so it's not super loud even when packed seaweed salad was amazing , miso and ice cream and good finisher read more

Food was great but service was very slow. We had a lot of different rolls but our favorites were the shaggy dog and California roll. A few of us also had the fried rice which was excellent. The server was very nice but we had to ask what the difference was between the lunch and dinner menus. We were there around noon. It was a big price difference and the lunch menu code was covered up on the table. Thankfully we saw it on the online menu so we asked and ordered the lunch option. It took over 15 minutes to get our first round of food and even longer for the second round. Then our waiter only brought certain tickets to our table instead of all of them at once so it took a long time for us to check out. The mandatory 18% gratuity was just frustrating for, what I consider, a small group of six. It was all one family and we shouldn't have to pay the 18% for slow service. I would try it again foe the food because it was delicious but if service was slow again we wouldn't return. read more

Ate here for dinner yesterday and had the ayce menu. We tried a good range of items across the menu and had a really great time. The ambiance and decor were very appealing and welcoming. For the dinner price $30 with the first alcoholic beverage included, it is a great deal. All the fish was fresh, my only critique is how thin and small they cut the fish (especially the eel, which were so thin it was basically shredded). Please consider making the cuts a little thicker for better mouthfeel. Service was exceptional, best we've had in Houston in a long time. Our server Tony and the other staff were very friendly, attentive, and quick. He also let us know the restaurant was new and opened in October. Overall, this will be our new go to for ayce sushi. read more

Y'all... RUN, don't walk, to Sushi Masa! We got the Sushi for 2 and it was amazing! We got allllll of this for less than $40 plus a choice of soup or salad. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The ambiance is relaxed, music is chill, and the service is fast and friendly. We will be customers for life and I'm so glad they are here. read more

First time eating here the food was wonderful spent around $30 dollars which is very reasonable for the quantity and quality. The decorations are very well done and the layout is nice. Makes me feel like a king of some sort in my own fantasy where i own all the sushi masas and all the employees as my wonderful hard working slaves just makes me tinder thinking about. I snuck vienna sausages in my pocket to put on my california roll which was great with the eel sauce. i also put 3 eggrolls in my pocket becasue they were so yummy and moist. Dont even get me started about the waiters OOHHH MANNN the things i would say to them in private.... ;) the guys of course lol.... The service was quick and sexy shoutout to Israel my waiter. i will be coming back very often great experience. read more

Oh my lord the food here is incredible. Literally everything my wife and I have tried is incredible. The spicy kani salad, shrimp shumai, Snow White roll, double j roll, little Tokyo roll. I literally have a list of like 1/3 of the menu that I've tried and everything is amazing. The alcohol is also awesome. Ask for Me-Ly (pronounced like Mee-Lay), she's amazing and will make you delicious drinks that you'll be thankful for once the sushi comes out. read more

Love coming here as the sushi is fresh and the AYCE is a great option that keeps everyone happy from nigiri to rolls to katsu to tempora and even comes with a free alcoholic drink and dessert. My wife is pregnant and they were nice enough to offer nigiri in the Aburi style (torched on top). Aburi needs to be on the menu because it's awesome but for now it's our little secret. Service is friendly, fast, and top notch. read more

Great night at Sushi Masa! It was our first time there and I must say we were ver impressed. We sat at the bar and had the AYCE for $30.00. The sushi was super fresh and tonight was $5 Lemon Drop Martini's, which were fab! Highly recommend the LSU roll, chicken fried rice, and the vegetable tempura. The Nigiri was also sooo good! The bartender, Me-ly, was so friendly and our drinks were fantastic!! My husband had the Japanese Old Fashioned and he really liked it! I ordered from UE. I ordered shrimp hibachi (rice and vegetables). Somehow I received shrimp with a double order of noodles, and no veggies. I tried to eat it despite it being completely wrong but the noodles were disgusting. I called about it and somehow someone in the restaurant wrote down the wrong info from UE. I ordered a shaggy roll for my niece. She said it was pretty good. I guess they're more popular for sushi. read more

I loved the food, Nat was the best server and she explained how the rolls are. By far the best service out of any restaurant I've been at in years, and the ambiance is nice, but busy. This is undoubtedly the best place to eat sushi and my favorite restaurant because the service is THAT good. Highly recommend to anyone who is new to sushi or wants to try a new place read more

Customer service was excellent the entire time and they will even come to your table and take your plate away as if they are full service, which they aren't . I also ordered a slice of coconut cream pie, or at least that's what they said it was. It had no cream in it and appeared to be a coconut custard pie not that different than the one I make at home. It was delicious as well.

The blue fin tuna tostados were delightful and hands down the best dish we had. Ceviche mixto was excellent with a just a hint of heat. I would order these two appetizer dishes again. Main courses consisted of duck 2 ways, redfish with green mole and risotto, spring cavatelli, and grilled shrimp & pork belly. All were delicious and uniquely tasty with the exception of the duck. Mind you, I really like duck and the sliced portions were excellent and perfectly seasoned and moist, but the pate-like accompaniment was not that good, plus the mole sauce was not what I was expecting. Dined in the other day with my husband and baby girls, and all I can say is I am more than satisfied! My family loves sushi but it's so hard to find good AYCE in Texas. We are from Las Vegas, so most cases have been disappointing us in the Spring/Houston area-- but now that we've found this gem we aren't going anywhere else. My friend and I heard about this great new sushi restaurant - Sushi Masa Seafood and Japanese Fusion at 355 Sawdust Road in The Woodlands - it was a such a nice surprise!! They have an all you can eat menu - the appetizers and the sushi were so fresh and tasty! The servers were friendly and attentive! A great addition to the local area restaurants - they have private dining if you want to host a small party or business meeting!
