Ok I see why this place is so highly rated. This has become my new sushi spot. This sushi is so fresh and delicious. You can't get better in Long Beach. We got our order to go and they packaged it perfectly so the flavors didn't mix all over each other. We LOVED the nigiri. Super fresh fish. Great quality. The cut rolls were also delicious. Not a crazy amount of sauce or anything so we could enjoy all the flavors. I absolutely loved their spicy crispy tuna rice (which is not spicy at all). The shumai were the only thing that I thought could have had more flavor, but still very solid option. And of course we got the baked salmon roll which was very good if you like baked sushi. We will definitely be coming back here anytime we want sushi. The inside of the restaurant was well done, it's a nice casual spot on 2nd street so keep that in mind for parking. But it's worth it.
Ordered takeout & it was prepared quickly and it packaged nicely! Everything we ordered was amazing. Fresh and great portions. Our favorites were the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, salmon sashimi and Garlic chili roll.

Friendly service, tempura that came out piping hot just seconds from the cooking, delicious and succulent fish, and flavorful tastes all around. SO GOOD!! We stumbled upon this place and were initially attracted to the big fish inside with the many menus available for viewing on the windows. We were so happy to walk in and eat the best sushi. We ordered the seared yellowtail TWICE! It was so delicious. The garlic chili roll was yummy yet the Long Beach roll was even better. We even tried the green mussels and it was BOMB! Service was so welcoming and kind it made us wanna go back whenever we are in the area! Go try it!!!

We were on our way to Saint & Second and as we were driving down Second St we seen @Sushi. We immediately decided we wanted sushi instead. We were all happy with this choice. This place has extremely fresh and tasty appetizers and sushi rolls. We're all definitely coming back. They have mostly inside seating but do have a small little patio. Unsure if people actually eat out there. They have a tv which was nice because we were able to catch the end of the Rams/Bears game last night. Very clean. Great Wall decor. Bathroom was clean. The service was top notch. Very attentive and friendly. For starters we ordered Spicy Garlic Edamame, Garlic Salmon Chili, Spicy Tuna Rice Crispy, and the Shumai. Everything was delicious. They were all 10/10, but that Garlic Salmon Chili was our favorite. The 3 rolls I ordered and enjoyed eating were the Spring Roll, Cucumber Special Roll and the 911 Roll. Both were a 10/10. I would definitely order these again. Out of all the Rolls ordered the fan favorite was the Spring Roll with that amazing sauce. Dynamite. Until next time.
This is one of the best sushi spots in Belmont Shore! I've been here several times and the food is just amazing each time I go. The service is incredible, and if there's a wait they always get you in very quickly, and the charming, energetic owner always greets you and makes sure you are taken care of. There is street metered parking, or you can try to find a spot in the busy neighborhood. The ambiance inside is very quaint, upscale, and charming. Although it's a small spot it's adorable inside and seats plenty of guests. I'm a huge fan of the yellowtail sashimi and I have never gone wrong with ANY of the specialty rolls here-they are all delicious and 5/5!! I love the rainbow roll as well as some of their own special rolls. The real star is not on the menu, but please listen when I tell you to order the pickled wasabi and it will LEVEL UP your sushi experience!!! I also like to enjoy hot saki here with a cold beer and the overall experience is always delightful. Check out this hidden gem for a new sushi experience and you'll be thrilled!
This place was amazing! I noticed that they had 5 stars so I had to try it out myself, and might I say, well deserved! The service was great. The waitress checked on us several times and was very sweet. I came on a Saturday evening and it wasn't crowded at all. The food came out surprisingly fast. I absolutely loved the presentation of everything, especially the baked salmon roll. The food was really good and fresh as well. Definitely the best baked salmon roll I've ever had! Their scallop roll was good. Their garlic edamame and crab & cucumber salad were so delicious. Their sauces are in house made. There is about 4 bar seats outside. There is also more seating available indoor as well, which is where I sat. Very small, intimate place. I loved everything about my experience and would definitely return. There is so many food options to choose from. Thank you!
This was by far the best baked salmon roll I have ever had! I would go back just for that again. The salmon had a garlic flavor to it which made it so much better than the usual. Ordered a few other rolls as well that I enjoyed. Service was attentive.
This was my first time here and all I can say is wow. The sushi is very fresh, service is excellent, everyone is so friendly. The restaurant is nice and cozy with a lot of space between tables. Restaurant is very clean and all the employees were helping each other to cater to their guests. The food and service is what will keep me coming back.
Best sushi in long beach! I've been here twice and there's always been little to no wait given that it's a pretty small restaurant. It's a wonderful restaurant for a special occasion or night out on Belmont. We ordered the blue fin tuna, salmon tataki, hot day roll, and Long Beach roll. The blue fin tuna was so fresh with the fresh wasabi. The salmon tataki was my second favorite with the truffle oil that cuts through the classic lemon salmon combo.

10/10. The salmon tataki roll has a slight truffle taste that is so delicious and the eel hand roll was cooked to perfection. The eel was tender, carmelized, smokey, and overall super balanced. The qualify of the fish was amazing and worth the money. The owner was super sweet snd definitely tried to connect with his customers. They close at 9 yet they still served us till 9:15 with the same amazing service, no rushing or anything. Also, the location of the restaurant is perfect to get a sweet treat afterwards or even shop! The place includes a bar and slightly moodly lighting, it is a little small but the owner makes sure you dont wait too long to get in and served so that is always appreciated! Highly recommend if you can!

First time here and everything was GREAT! The fish was amazing and taste so fresh. The flavors were so delicious. I really enjoyed the salmon sushi. Sarina is super sweet and helpful, really amazing customer service!! I would definitely come back here and try more dishes. It's a MUST TRY. Also the Baked salmon was super yum too. read more

My last visit to @Sushi was with my Sister a few weeks prior to Covid. This time I was attempting to escape the humidity, which proved difficult. They only have one AC, so it's best to sit close to the bar, if possible. I had the Halibut Carpaccio, Yellowtail roll, and House Spicy roll. Halibut or Catfish are my favorites, so having a carpaccio or crudo with Halibut is top tier! It was perfect in every way and spicy enough to keep me sweating. The Yellowtail was excellent and I used the ponzu & truffle oil from the carpaccio to dip the rice. I understand why they offer shooters here because I could've slammed a few ponzu shots. Lastly, Sarina's service was excellent! read more

15/10. I don't have words to describe how amazing this food is, it was exactly what i was craving tonight. I highly recommend the salmon tataki and eel hand roll. The salmon tataki has a hint of this amazing truffle taste and the eel was smokey and grilled to perfection. the eel was so tender too! The service was incredible, the owner is so sweet and goes out of his way to connect with customers and check in. The lighting in the restaurant is slightly moody and the location is perfect to do shopping and grab a sweet treat afterwards!! I absolutely recommend you try this place! read more
I have been eyeing this spot for a while and finally able to try it with a friend. Wow, I was quite impressed. Service was absolutely wonderful for a small place. Luckily on a mid-week visit they weren't to busy and therefore we were not rushed. The quality of each dish was wonderful. Portions were sizable. They had some unique dish options that hit the spot and made them stand out verse other sushi spots. A cozy little place located at the end of the bustling 2nd street area. Parking was relatively easy mid-week, however weekends would be a challenge. Among all the wonderful sushi spots in Long Beach, this spots definitely competes. Nice to enjoy another gem within the city. I will be keeping this one in the rotation. read more

Location: 2nd street, corner spot facing the major Street. It has a big "at" character, naturally lol Menu: sushi, rolls, carpaccio, udon, salads, few skewer selections, beers, sashimi, miso soup We pigged out and there were no regrets. I can't remember everything but we got aloha roll, "spring" roll, blue fin carpaccio, sheseido peppers, cucumber crab salad, sushi, and beers This place did everything very well. Very content. Parking: street Seating: mainly indoor seating but I think I saw a few spots on the patio. Good for smaller groups like 2-4. But I can see a group of 6+ could still fit. read more

We have been in Long Beach for a week for the Cali Vibes concert. We have tried numerous restaurants including Japanese and Thai. @sushi is hands down the best place we have dined. As a matter of fact, some of the best sushi we have had in any city. Waiter/ service was phenomenal. Atmosphere was great. Fish was so fresh and perfect texture. The Sushi rolls and hand rolls were so fresh and yummy. We ordered two hand rolls - one tuna and the other house spicy which is a combo of tuna, imitation crab and crunch. I preferred the house spicy. For the rolls we ordered the Hot Night and the baked albacore roll. The baked roll was set on fire when served and it took a minute or so to stop. The rolls hit my sushi craving! Wait time was only 5 min at 6:15pm on Friday and service was attentive. It was a nice date spot because it wasn't noisy like a lot of places on 2nd and there was generous space between tables. I would like to return to try more rolls and their oyster shooter. read more
This is still mine and my husband's favorite sushi spot out of all the other sushi places in Belmont Shore! They have the freshest sushi. We pretty much order the same thing every time we're here.... Yellowtail/Albacore carpaccio, blue fin tuna sashimi, salmon skin hand rolls and for their fresh rolls, we get Candy, Aloha, Paradise, Long Beach and Hot night. My hubby likes to wash it all down with a Sapporo and me, a mango Nigori sake. We love the cozy and casual ambience. And not to mention the wonderful service from Mr. Song and his crew! read more

Wowww. I've lived in this area most my life and never been to this spot. The owner told me they've been open for around 6 years already! The fish is SO fresh! Very very clean. I went with a friend of mine and we were both super happy. Service is super nice. We ended up speaking to the owner and he was super nice and we spoke about the quality of the fish being very yummy. You can tell they take care about their customers as well as the food! Highly recommend and will be back ! read more

This is my new sushi place on 2nd street! AMAZING menu. These oysters are the best oysters! And I've worked in fine dining. The lemon sushi roll is the best roll I might have ever had. This establishment is entirely unique. The owner, Song, is involved and present. The staff are courteous and respectful. The vibe is unmatched. So glad we came here one day on a whim. This place was so yummy!! We went on a Saturday night and there was a little bit of a wait. The wait staff was so kind and nice. Also very helpful when it comes to allergies.
