We love eating here as a family. My kids have been coming since they were small. They love the rolls. The green tea ice cream. Everything that is served. It's definitely delicious and tastes amazing. The staff so professional and friendly. The ambience is classy and tranquil. Thank you!

We have slowly become more discerning about what we consider good sushi. After three visits, we found Sushi boat to be priced right sushi. Food: vibrant colors in the fish, a fresh aroma, sticky (not mushy) rice, sufficiently firm fish, and all served visually appealing. You get a bit more than what you pay for. Also, just for sitting down you get free, tasty edamame. Service: prompt but not rushed, friendly, willing to respectfully assist with menu, and seemingly non judgmental towards fork or sugar users. Ambiance: great for dates, family, or solo bar service. It didn't feel like you are at a mall. The booths give a feeling of privacy. Price: this was a great bang for your buck. Though everything tasted great, it was also understandable that this wasn't made by Jiro Ono with fish right out of the ocean. It was a great Temecula meal.

One of my new favorite sushi places in Temecula. The sushi was fabulous and the teriyaki chicken bento box was delicious! The hubby does not like mayo and our server worked with him and gave him options on other dressings. Our server Steven was super sweet and very attentive. They offer a small complementary sample of Edamame which is a nice touch. The inside is super cute with traditional Japanese decor.

This place never disappoint us and this is one of the reason we always come here all the time. Complementary edamame and matcha ice cream always been a sweet touch Kevin, the staff, always being sweet and foods always been in great quality. Price is always been competitive

Still one of our go to favorites for lunch dates when we are in the area. They always have the best customer service whether it is empty or busy! On top of everything, their prices remain reasonable and unlike majority of other sushi restaurants, they still give out complimentary edamame at the start and green tea ice cream at the end of your meal. Highly recommend to everyone, ordered the Temecula Roll for the first time and although I was nervous to try something new, it was so good!

The establishment has been here for 10+ years and there have been some major changes/improvements. They have changed interior to make it look more intimate or private for customers. It's better for domestic couples or for a family meal (would advise against coming here for a date as there could be more places to get to know someone with a better setting). As it's located in a mall, you can park in a structure or in a nearby spot in the parking lot. My party ordered the Lunch Box (Bento Box), Mixed Tempura, Winchester Roll, and the Chirashi bowl. The total price, with tip, came to about $80. In reference to the food, we had edamame that was served cold (yes, it can be prepared and served either warm or cold, but the taste was not present and the flesh did not break/flatten easily). The side salad was a little bland due to the vegetables used. I've found that spring mix is better vs. the cabbage used in their salad (doesn't absorb the dressing as well). The chirashi bowl prioritized looks over the ability to eat and blend ingredients well. It was hard to eat with all the food stacked in large portions on top. There was no nori, shiso, or roe mixed with the rice. Bonus: You can get complimentary green tea ice cream after your meal. The servers were nice. The environment was a generally clean and well-kept place. However, with a large amount of options, the food could still be improved upon.

My friend and I ordered Togo rolls and nigiri and they were not bad at all. I was so impressed about their packing. I was so hungry and totally forgot to take pictures before unpack everything but it showed how much they paid attention to the Togo order.

Another great experience here. This time tried the Jay Special 2 no rice roll, salmon sashimi, 911 roll and gyoza Food came out quickly and was fresh. Staff was friendly and greeted us upon entry. Inside was clean and not too loud. The jay special 2 was good but not my favorite because the Cucumber was a little too thick for my personal taste. I liked the other no rice roll better. Presentation was very good. The 911 roll was pretty good and a little spicy.

My family and I stopped by for a quick lunch, and we ordered the Deluxe Mixed Sushi Combo. The price was fair and the amount of food in the combo was enough to feed 4 people. We really enjoyed the sushi and sashimi that came with the combo, and we will definitely come back again!

We haven't been to this place in awhile, but we were craving something healthy at the mall and sushi was the first thing that came to our mind. The owner? Manager created us right away as he always does each time and we were quickly seated. Service was impeccable and attentive as always and this is probably my favorite part about this restaurant. The sashimi portions are generous and the plate was beautifully served. We order 3 rolls on top of the 15 sashimi pieces and it was more than enough for our party of 4. 2 kids and 2 adults. Our kids love sushi so they can eat as much as a grown adult on good days. We came early before the dinner crowd so it was not very busy and quiet. The restaurant is always so clean and the bathroom as well was very clean and tidy.

Our experience here was pretty solid. They offered us a special table for our infant child. Very accommodating and food was good. I ordered the combo plate for dinner with teriyaki salmon and tempera. Tempera was crispy but the salmon was just okay. Hot Night roll was also pretty good! Quantity was good and fish tasted fresh. They offered ice cream at the end too!

Parking is plentiful right in front and being seated was a breeze especially before dinner time. When seated, we were served water immediately. The server asked if we intended to drink anything more. We then ordered three large Sapporo beers. We ordered salmon sashimi to start. Then, my fiancé and I ended up ordering the Taste of Onori Menu to share. For $55, we received about 14 items, omokase style: Edamame & Miso Soup Tuna Sashimi (so good as a starter) Albacore Sushi (1 piece) Seared Black Cod Sushi (1 piece) Shima Aji Sushi (1 piece) King Salmon Sushi (1 piece) Toro Handroll Sea bream Sushi (my favorite piece) Halibut Sushi (1 piece) Japanese Yellowtail (1 piece) Hokkaido Scallop (1 piece) Kinme-Dai Sushi (1 piece) Ottoro/Chu-toro (1 piece - phenomenal) Salmon Handroll We weren't full after our shared meal, so we ordered a salmon cut roll. The spicy tuna lingered on my tongue in the best way possible and was a sensation of good flavor. The Toro was one of my favorite hand rolls too but the salmon and yellowtail were gooood too! Seriously everything we had was delicious! I also really liked the edamame as an appetizer and palette cleanser. Only $3 and very worth it. The salt on the edamame was super flavorful, like a yuzu salt or something. It was delicious. Staff was also attentive. Perfect for anniversary dinner:…read more Omakase sushi is one of the most refined and memorable dining experiences you can have, especially if you appreciate attention to detail, freshness, and craftsmanship. From the moment you sit down, there's a clear sense that this is not just a meal--it's a curated journey guided entirely by the chef's expertise and intuition. What makes omakase stand out is the trust you place in the chef. Instead of choosing dishes yourself, you allow the chef to present a sequence of sushi that highlights the best ingredients available that day. This often results in a progression that feels intentional and balanced, starting with lighter, more delicate flavors and gradually moving toward richer, more complex pieces. Each bite is thoughtfully designed to showcase the natural qualities of the fish, the texture of the rice, and the subtle interplay of seasoning. The freshness of the ingredients is immediately noticeable. High-quality omakase typically features fish flown in from top markets, and you can taste the difference. The fish is clean, tender, and often melts in your mouth. The rice, which is just as important as the fish, is seasoned perfectly--slightly warm, lightly vinegared, and shaped with precision so it holds together without being dense. Another standout aspect is the craftsmanship. Watching the chef prepare each piece right in front of you adds a level of appreciation you don't get with standard dining. Every movement is deliberate, from slicing the fish to forming the rice to brushing on just the right amount of soy or adding a touch of wasabi. It becomes clear that years of training and discipline go into even the simplest-looking piece of sushi. Omakase also introduces you to varieties of fish and preparations you might never order on your own. This expands your palate and helps you discover new favorites. Seasonal ingredients often play a role, which keeps the experience dynamic and unique each time you go. Service is typically intimate and attentive, especially if you're seated at the counter. The chef may explain each piece, offer guidance on how to eat it, or adjust the pacing based on your preferences. This interaction adds a personal element that enhances the overall experience. While omakase can be more expensive than regular sushi, the value lies in the quality, skill, and overall experience. It's not just about eating--it's about enjoying a carefully orchestrated meal that reflects both tradition and creativity. Overall, omakase sushi delivers a level of quality and thoughtfulness that's hard to match. If you're looking for a dining experience that combines artistry, flavor, and a sense of occasion, omakase is absolutely worth it.

There's something honest about a new sushi spot finding its footing, and Toro Sushi leans into that simplicity in the best way. No gimmicks, no overreaching, just clean cuts of fish, thoughtfully plated, and priced like they actually want you to come back. The sashimi (even the "small") punches above its weight, fresh, clean, no nonsense. You taste the ocean, not the freezer. That's already half the battle won. The sleeper hit here is the bento box. It's the kind of meal that reminds you value still exists, generous without being sloppy, filling without feeling like a compromise. The kind of plate that earns repeat business. Come in around 5:30 and it's still catching its breath. By 6, though, the place finds its pulse, busy, lively, the kind of energy you want in a neighborhood spot that's clearly starting to click. Service was kind, and quick, food came out decent too. The tempura shrimp and veggies was crisp and not too oily. The room itself? Polished. Modern. Spotless. Someone cares, and it shows. But like any place finding its stride, there are gaps. The men's restroom is a one-person situation, and if you've got a kid, you're out of luck, no changing table in the men's room, us millennial dads are not afraid of a poppie diaper. Not a dealbreaker, but a miss in a family-heavy area. Still, Toro Sushi doesn't try to be the loudest spot in the room, it just quietly does enough things right to make you want to return. And honestly, that's the kind of place that lasts.
