Even though the Wharf has changed so much over the years, I'm happy this restaurant was added to the area. For entrees, my picks are the Chilean sea bass, crab cake, or definitely one of their steaks. And don't skip the sides the creamed corn, gnocchi, and carrots are my favorites. The weight was super busy, but we were able to meet a couple on the way in who had a reservation. When we got up to the front, we noticed that the couple ran to the counter at the bar and got seats. When we asked the hostess, how long the wait for a party of two would be she said one hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes. I had to catch my flight so we definitely could not wait that long. Right when we were about leave and walk away, the very kind and nice couple (Montez & Alayna) that we met walking up, told us that they had secured bar seats and that we could take their breakfast brunch dining reservation. THIS WAS A BLESSING! I purchased their first round of drinks because they were generous with their reservation. There are great people in this city, thanks! We were seated right away at a dining table, and the place was packed, as usual. Our server was wonderful. I believe her name was Alisha or Aisha, and she took care of us very well. We ordered: Naan Bread Appetizer, Blueberry Pancakes with Mascarpone, side of chicken sausage, Creme Brûlée French Toast, side of scrambled eggs, and side of Hash browns. For beverages we had coffee and apple juice plus water. Our food came out within 10 to 12 minutes and everything was delicious and amazing. We were so stuffed and really enjoyed our time here. At the end of our reservation the restaurant Manager approached us (named Derek or Ryan) with the gentleman from the couple who gave us his reservation. They surprised us each with a decadent dessert! This was in response to us buying their first round of drinks. The customer service of our server was AMAZING, the food was DELICIOUS, and the surprise desserts were FABULOUS! This is definitely our go-to restaurant in DC. Thank you for another AWESOME experience!! it's about to rain. I see it.

My first visit was for lunch, when I ordered the BLT. While it was satisfactory, the bread was a bit too hard for my preference. However, my dinner experience more than made up for it! I enjoyed the steak with puréed mashed potatoes and broccolini, and the entire meal was exceptional. The steak was tender, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. It was easily the highlight of my dining experiences. I also stopped in for breakfast before work and ordered sides of bacon and potatoes. Both were delicious and offered a more affordable alternative to the full breakfast entrées. Although the menu could benefit from additional variety and the cocktails are somewhat pricey, the food quality and overall experience were enjoyable. What truly stood out was the impeccable customer service. I dined at the bar during each visit, and the bartenders were consistently welcoming, attentive, courteous, and professional. Their hospitality made every visit pleasant. Whether you're traveling for business, enjoying a solo meal, or dining with family or friends, Willowsong is a reliable and inviting choice at The Wharf. Great service, flavorful food, and excellent convenience make Willowsong a restaurant I would gladly recommend.
