    Chef John's Prime Rib Dip

Tried this place out today for dinner for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant is located around the downtown area and has its own parking lot. There is lots of booths and chairs. The vibe is very romantic and has candles at the tables. They also had a musician playing a guitar which was really nice. My husband had the sandwich with ribeye (I believe) and I had the fettuccini Alfredo, both were very delicious and tasty. He also had a Hazy and they had many options, I had the smoked mango and regular margarita which were great! We also had the tiramisu for our anniversary dessert and it was very nice of the restaurant to have it on the house. The waitress was very friendly and speedy. We can't wait to come back and try other foods.

    Prime Rib Wednesday.

10 of us came in for a cousins' couples dinner, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was outstanding, especially the perfectly cooked prime rib. The appetizers, drinks, and dinner were all so good that we forgot to take any pictures because we were too busy enjoying everything. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service--we can't wait to come back!

LOVEEE! The espresso martinis are so good. I got regular and my friend got a hazelnut. I am shocked I don't have to wait or make reservations for Surlas. Always amazing food, drinks, and service.

Absolutely amazing. My husband and I were going to Dustbowl brewery and last minute changed our mind and I will forever be grateful. Walking in to hear live music drew me in immediately. The staff was so friendly and immediately available. I personally like to eat pretty light and it's hard to find food that isn't bland when looking for clean, but they hit every number. From their ahi tuna poke to their cauliflower crust chicken pesto pizza I was impressed. New favorite date night place ever.

Overpriced, overhyped and understaffed. Just a FYI, these dinner entrees does not come with salad or soup on the side. The salads are not worth the price, especially the wedged one. Small and barely anything on the plate. Complementary bread and alcoholic drinks didn't come out until the main entree were being served. My table ordered the main entrees: seafood risotto, Korean kalabi ribs, braised short ribs, thai chicken curry and a poke bowl to go. The Thai chicken curry lacked flavor and the chicken was dry. The braised short ribs mediocre. I would not order it again. The seafood risotto was way too salty. Only the Korean kalabi ribs tasted decent. The dessert was delicious - crème brulee was a hit. The ambiance was dark/dimmed lighting and had like classical music in the background. P.S. I still do not understand that one SMALL shot of vodka costs $14.

The long wait is over. Surla's is open for lunch again. The food was great and the bartender poured a stiff drink.

We were greeted right away and seated immediately, making for a great start to our visit. My wife ordered the Orange Chicken, which came with chow mein and fried rice. While both sides didn't include any meat, she said everything was flavorful and the orange chicken itself was delicious. I ordered the Sizzling Plate Combo with shrimp, beef, and chicken, served with broccoli, red and green onions in a savory black pepper sauce. It was packed with flavor and made for an excellent keto-friendly lunch. The service was friendly and efficient, the restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the prices remain very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. This continues to be one of our go-to spots for a consistently enjoyable meal. We'll definitely be back.

But later on that evening we asked, them how did they like their food and they said, wouldn't go back. So I called them to complain and the manager wasn't there so they said, she would call me back. They never called me back. The bathrooms are dirty the window above our table was disgustingly dirty. I'm done with them.

Food is excellent Service has always been awesome for us…read moreAmbiance is fantastic I love the Pineapple Margarita !!!

Sushi restaurant or a nightclub?…read more My friend and I decided to go for a night out Downtown. When we arrived at about 7:00pm, we were told there would be about an hour wait. Despite this long wait, there were actually quite a few empty tables, but was overall still very busy. When you put yourself on the waitlist, they notify you through text when your table is ready. This gave us ample time to walk around Downtown while we waited. When we received the table-ready text (just short of an hour later), we were sat quickly in a nice U-shaped booth. This seating arrangement felt a bit awkward for a party of two, especially if you are sharing food. The booth is too big to be sitting close enough to reach but too small to not feel awkward. It is perfect for people watching though since the booths face the entire restaurant. By this time, the restaurant was completely packed, with just about every booth, table, and barstool occupied. Our waiter came quickly to take our drink orders. We got a Cucumber Martini and an Espresso Martini. The Cucumber Martini was incredibly light and refreshing. The Espresso Martini was not impressive. It didn't have a strong espresso flavor and was rather watery, but still alright. This is the type of restaurant, that especially on busy nights like this where they don't accept reservations, you should allocate a lot of time for the dinner service for. There is a significant time gap between each time the waiter comes around to take your order. There was probably 15-20 minutes between placing our drink, appetizer, and meal orders. This was not a problem for us, but if you are eating here before making a show at the Gallo Center, this may be something to consider. For our appetizer, we ordered the Salmon Ceviche. It was insanely good. It was subtly spicy and citrusy. The chips that came with it were light and not oily at all. I wish the portion was larger because the two of us swallowed it up in just a few bites. For our entree, we got the Salmon Tataki and Goodi Rolls to split. They were both very good and came out on a lovely platter. They tasted very fresh and high quality. The prices here are on the higher side but is nice for a special occasion or splurge. Our server was very attentive and checked on us often. He was super friendly too. The restaurant was super lively. They were playing club music which was totally a vibe. It looked like this was the spot people hit before going out for the night. I noticed they were accommodating for both small and large parties, serving both rather quickly. I'll be back!

First time reviewing Dynasty Garden but been going here since they first opened 20 yrs ago…read more This is the place if you are craving for dim sum and don't want to drive to the Bay Area. Took my staff here and for 2 of them, it was their first time trying this Chinese place. Ordered on the dim sum menu- pork shu mai, shrimp dumpling, steamed pork bun. Since we did family style, I ordered for everyone but gave them option to choose an entree. Sizzling rice soup - staff loved it, simple ingredients of bok Choy, chicken , shrimp and crackling rice that's put on the soup at the table. 5 stars Mongolian beef - favorite for the first timers. One staff said she liked the taste and the crispy won ton. 5 stars. Pan fried - Hong Kong style chow mein - basically the noodles is toasted and crispy and the sauce with the meats (chicken beef shrimp) with bok choy is placed on top! I always get this and i recommend peeps to try it! My staff loved it. 5 stars Pork fried rice - usually I like the pink bbq pork style fried rice but this isn't bad. Not a lot of veggies so not colorful. 4 stars Garlic chicken- pretty good: lots of onions. Doesn't seem that garlicky to me. 4 stars Hot spicy string beans- needed some greens and this is pretty crunchy and tasty. 5 stars Service- lots of peeps working. When you ask boxes to go, they give you it but don't put the food for you. 4 stars Overall, good place to sit down and have dim sum or order Chinese food. Popular place for Togo orders
