    Shrimp dumpling

First time reviewing Dynasty Garden but been going here since they first opened 20 yrs ago. This is the place if you are craving for dim sum and don't want to drive to the Bay Area. Took my staff here and for 2 of them, it was their first time trying this Chinese place. Ordered on the dim sum menu- pork shu mai, shrimp dumpling, steamed pork bun. Since we did family style, I ordered for everyone but gave them option to choose an entree. Sizzling rice soup - staff loved it, simple ingredients of bok Choy, chicken , shrimp and crackling rice that's put on the soup at the table. 5 stars Mongolian beef - favorite for the first timers. One staff said she liked the taste and the crispy won ton. 5 stars. Pan fried - Hong Kong style chow mein - basically the noodles is toasted and crispy and the sauce with the meats (chicken beef shrimp) with bok choy is placed on top! I always get this and i recommend peeps to try it! My staff loved it. 5 stars Pork fried rice - usually I like the pink bbq pork style fried rice but this isn't bad. Not a lot of veggies so not colorful. 4 stars Garlic chicken- pretty good: lots of onions. Doesn't seem that garlicky to me. 4 stars Hot spicy string beans- needed some greens and this is pretty crunchy and tasty. 5 stars Service- lots of peeps working. When you ask boxes to go, they give you it but don't put the food for you. 4 stars Overall, good place to sit down and have dim sum or order Chinese food. Popular place for Togo orders

Last review was 10 years ago. Still our favorite restaurant for Chinese n such a beautiful family that runs it!! Food is consistent, taste good & fresh. Portions are a good size. Family that runs the business remembers you when you walk in. Very friendly. Food is delicious. We sometimes show up at eight they close at 8:30 so we'll call ahead and place our order when we come in food is ready for us waiting on our table piping hot. Ask for their special sauce. They make their own hot sauce and a chili oil. So good!!

Had their HK pan fried noodles and it was delicious. Combo proteins of beef, pork, chicken and shrimp with bok choy, sugar peas and carrots. Look forward to trying other options on the menu.

Ask the Community - Dynasty Garden

Do the egg rolls have meat or do they have a meatless option?

My family has been to Dynasty several times and have ordered complete vegetarian meals, including the spring rolls (they don't have egg rolls on their menu) and have enjoyed every meatless bite! 🍜🍲🍚🥠

    Is domain served on sundays?

    Bring yelp with you!

Is dim sum only served on the weekends or during the week to?

We just went there this week and they have it on Weekdays too. Not sure if it's limited hours.. some places are between 11-2.. but definitely have during the weekdays

Is dim sum served all day, if not when is it over?

No it ends in the early afternoon, you can get steamed items during dinner but have to get a certain amount.

    Do you serve peking duck?

    I think they do.

It was my first time eating at House Of Potsticker as I usually steer away from Chinese food considering I grew up eating it literally all of the time. Dined in with my partner, mom and uncle on a Saturday afternoon and inside was basically empty. I'm going to assume that there are more takeout orders. My personal staple when eating Chinese food is honey walnut prawns and theirs definitely hit the spot. The prawns were huge and perfectly fried before tossed in the sauce. Another staple is veggies so today we opted for the sautéed cabbage and it was simple yet so satisfying. My partner chose the Mongolian beef (extra spice) and chicken fried rice. He couldn't stop talking about how good it was.. like seriously, he kept mentioning it the next day. I honestly really look forward to having Chinese food from House Of Potsticker the next time I'm in Modesto.

Best Chinese restaurant in Stockton. Love their house chow mein and bbq pork buns…read more Pretty authentic!

Friday, January 9th. Approx. 6:50 PM…read more OVERVIEW: Was at Lincoln Village to do some shopping, and wanted to try this restaurant for the first time and get some to-go food. Will probably go back again to give their Dim Sum a try. PROS: - GREAT LOCATION in the middle of Lincoln Village Shopping Center & lots of available parking spaces. - Ordered the Fried Garlic Chicken, Broccoli Beef & House Special Chow Mein. Good flavor & volume for the price. - This may be commonsensical, but while it was quite cold outside on this January evening, management kept the temperature of the dining area at a warm level. I bring this point up since a lot of restaurants in Stockton & Lodi have turned the thermostats of their dining areas down to cut overhead costs, but this place kept their dining area warm & comfy. CONS: - It seems obvious that they only have one chef working in their kitchen, since it took almost 30 minutes to complete my order. Sure, they had to serve other customers dining in, as well as handle a constant flow of pick-up orders, but since it was peak order time on a Friday night, they should have more staff in the kitchen to quickly support the order volume. - While I mentioned in the "PROS" section above, the food has good flavor and volume for the price. The downside is that the overall flavors are not outstanding nor memorable, which doesn't allow for much separation with other mainstream Chinese restaurants, serving the same dishes in Stockton. SUMMARY: If you're in the Lincoln Village area, want to eat Chinese food and are not in a particular hurry, this is a good place to park the car and sit down for a while. If you are in a hurry, better to phone in your order beforehand to cut the waiting time. Don't expect exotic food presentations and flavors, but don't expect massive damage to your wallet either.

The mochi part threw me off. And it was delicious! Everything else I had was also very good-- siu mai, har gow, baked bbq pork bun, potstickers, egg tart, milk custard bun, fried sesame ball w/red bean. I also got the fried wontons, which were my least favorite item. They weren't bad, just not as flavorful as the other items. There's no seating and no restrooms here. When I brought it up and even pointed out the worker, the staff claimed they had no idea what I was talking about. At that point, I just let it go but honestly, it didn't get any better from there. Every dish we ordered was bland, lacked flavor, and wasn't consistent at all. To make matters worse, I noticed something concerning near the cashier. They were refilling the water jug using what looked like a used plastic container that didn't appear clean or sanitary, which was really off-putting.
