Beer offered here ( additional price ) Ice Tea ( additional price)

My Son Loves Seafood . He says let's find a Buffett with Crab . He found the Grand Buffett . We walked in very clean and open restaurant. Ordered a Ice Tea, the wait staff kept full for me :) and they took our plates away promptly . My Son was very happy with the Crab and seafood selection and freshness. We called ahead to see when the crab would be available- after 3:30 pm . They have lots to choose from in Asian cuisine - Solid sushi rolls. Pizza for the kids. And Thrifty Brand Ice Cream! Our Bellies are full and happy .

Very nice people and good selection of food. The custards were extra delicious. I totally missed that there was ice cream too.

This place has good prices, friendly staff and great food. I would rather do a father trip to Coffee Rd than to eat at 5 Seasons.

What is the price at this moment? Went to lunch the other day and got charged around $15 per person while thought as usually should be around 12 or so

Last time I was there it was $19 for just me ! No prices posted except for takeout.

Hawaii Pot Shabushabu House

Wow, I was so impressed with the uniqueness of this place! I've been to conveyor belt sushi places…read morebefore but this is the first time I have seen individual hot pots with accompaniments coming to you on a conveyor belt! What a great concept!! Everyone is seated with their own individual hot pot plate to build their own individual hot pot. (Don't worry it does not burn). You choose your basic soup broth, choose the meat you would like, and then start grabbing things off the conveyor belts! It not only is a fun concept, you can get quite creative with how you build your hot pot and choose just the things to your liking. I was amazed that they had very authentic Chinese ingredients to choose from - wood ear, enoki mushrooms, bok choy, different kinds of noodles, fish balls, Napa cabbage, octopus, and lots of different varieties of selfish, plus much much more! I chose the traditional broth and they even had Chinese red dates in it plus wolfberries (sometimes known as Goji berries) in the broth just like what I grew up with The service was just ok, since it was our first time there we had to ask a lady to show us what we were supposed to do. She was helpful, but the servers don't come around very often. That said, the plates and dishes clutter up really fast and they don't come around very often to clear the dishes, for which I would have taken a star off. But my experience there with conveyor belt hot pot was so nice that I'm leaving it at five stars. What I liked best besides the authentic ingredients, is that you can become quite creative to build your own hot pot to your own liking.

Love having my own individual pot and personalizing my broth and spice level. The meat is fresh (1 meat at a time), and the DIY sauce station. Price is reasonable too when you go at lunchtime. Waitress is super nice too.

The sushi was delicious, with favorites like dragon rolls and plenty of sashimi options. The spice levels were good, and the unagi sauce was not overly sweet. The buffet offered some great options, including fried rice, noodles, orange chicken, broccoli beef, and even some decent cuts of steak. The pork buns were a surprise and were really tasty. Dessert is mostly Jell-O, pudding, and some mini spongy cakes. The mango pudding was a great refresher. Overall, it's a great lunch spot at a decent price!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon craving AYCE plus it had "sushi". We were in Modesto and thought,…read morewhy tf not... there's no KBBQ or specialty AYCE sushi around. I feel like I've upgraded from typical Chinese buffets with the weird gelatin cakes from that one specific bakery that distributes said cakes to all these low-level Chinese buffets. But sometimes I gotta return to the trenches! The inside is cute with a lot of booths and Japanese decorations. The center consists of a sushi bar with a functioning boat, chefs making rolls and putting jello onto the little floaties. The back has the standard Americanized Chinese fare. Bonus: there is a "Mongolian BBQ" station where a cook will stir fry your creation. Pricing is pretty decent considering there is more than just the hot trays of Chinese. The food itself was pretty OK. Sushi is basic to below average with huge 65-35 rice proportions, so get ready to be full fast. The sushi chefs also focused on saucy rolls vs nigiri. Because there is seating around the sushi boat, it was funny witnessing socially-unaware people go up behind people sitting there to grab a plate even though there was a huge space at the end of the island without seating to avoid this. Anyways, we ate a bunch to get our money's worth and could cross this off the list to never have to go again.

Was starving tried to think of where to go on that side of town coming from Hughson.. not many choices so we decided on The Fruit Yard... I had 1/2 BLT, fries, fried pickles... my children's grandmother had breakfast... made me want to have breakfast... it's always hard to decide... the BLTA was good, on sourdough... I wanted French onion but they don't have that... oher wise I would have opted for chicken noodle.. they didnt have that either... oh well

I don't like clam chowder, but since it was Friday, that is all they had. So, I got it for my son. I really wish restaurants would serve more than one type of soup on Friday, if they're going to have clam chowder, as it is my least favorite. The lasagna was delicious, however, I thought the price was very high, and they charged me a fee for a to go order: $1.50. For a total of $27.50!! Not a bargain. They were packed. The parking lot and inside the restaurant were full! It was a Friday night. They gave me my order pretty fast, and the hostess was friendly. The ambiance is beautiful outside. They have ducks, hens, and roosters running free. I love to feed the birds, it is my favorite part of going to The Fruit Yard.
