    Pad Kee Mow

Stopped by Super Thai Cuisine for an early dinner and it was a great experience. Parking is paid, but you can easily validate by scanning the QR code at the door. We were seated immediately, and the whole place has a nice, casual vibe. We tried the house wings (larb dry rub, great flavor and crunch), the gaeng keow wan (green curry, solid even though I usually prefer yellow), and the pad kee mow, which was delicious with tender proteins. The only miss was the calamari. The squid was good, but the batter reminded me more of onion rings than typical calamari. Overall, friendly staff, tasty food, and a relaxed atmosphere!

Rating: 3.1/5 [delivery] My husband ordered through Postmates, and I thought the food was overpriced for the small portion sizes and the overall quality. A10 Son In Law ($11.50): Thai fried boiled eggs in tamarind sauce topped with diced red bell pepper, fried shallot, fried chili, and cilantro. Easily the best dish of the night with bold and balanced flavors that really stood out. A12 Thai Sweet Sausage ($10.35): Lightly fried Thai sweet sausage over a bed of spring mix with sriracha sauce. Honestly a rip-off. It looked like maybe 1.5 sausages sliced up, and the flavor was basically like Chinese sausage, just a bit sweeter and less fatty. A18 Dancing Crab ($11.50): Deep-fried breaded soft shell crab with crispy taro, diced red bell pepper, green onion, and citrus ponzu sauce. Not bad, especially considering we did not reheat it. The crispy taro was fun to munch on and reminded me of thin, crunchy fries. Side of Fried Pork Belly ($5.90): Super dry and overcooked. The only way it was edible was by dipping it into the Son In Law sauce, which helped a little.

Ordered the beef salad and drunken noodles with chicken. Taste was not bad , but it was missing something. Service was fast and friendly

I really like this thai restaurant! It reminds us of our small, local, thai spot in Pittsburgh. They have parking right out front - you just have to type your license plate in when you arrive so they know you are at the restaurant. We have eaten in and also ordered takeout - both times the portions were HUGE. I really love the green curry, but my fiances pad thai was so good. He also loves their thai tea. Servers are friendly and always offer recommendations and explain the specials. I like that I can get noodles instead of rice to soak up the curry. It is delicious. Ready for cooler weather and more hot soup and curry soon! Delicious!

    Basil fried rice with shrimp

I think I have to try this place again because for my first time I didn't get to try much of the food. I don't typically order fried rice as the sole dish whenever I'm at a Thai place. I usually order a noodle dish, some kind of a curry dish and an appetizer to have a good gauge of their food. But at the time I visited, I wasn't as hungry. My friend told me this place is known for their basil fried rice so I ordered that with shrimp. It was good, the way it came out wasn't spicy enough for me so I asked for some chili oil which was perfect. The shrimp were good sized but I wish there was one or two more in it. The inside of the restaurant is very small, kind of cramped. It felt almost like you're actually in Asia! The staff is very friendly and pretty attentive. Parking can be a bit of a headache but if you go after a certain time, you'll find more spots. They do validate for parking so make sure you go in the restaurant before you pay for parking!

I ordered the Pad Woonsen w/chicken & pork to go. The bean thread noodles are really good, soaked up all the savory flavors from the juice, but the meats are overcooked. The chicken and pork are both too dry and tough. The portion is generous though, good for sharing. With 25% tip I spent $23 on one dish. Service was good. Fast. The interior is casual. Small parking lot to park, grab, and go.

Went in on a Saturday evening didnt have a problem with getting a table. I walked there but I noticed that they were validating parking. The food was really good! For the appetizer I ordered the A8 Super Satay Chicken, then I ordered N3 Pad Kee Mow which I felt was a bit spicy but it had really good flavor they were out of Mango Sticky Rice which I was bummed about because I was really craving it so I decided to Try the D3 Sweet Sticky Rice & Egg Custard which was good. Service was excellent the environment was great I was able to eat and read My book I really enjoyed it!

Super Thai is a very cool spot! The small, bustling space has lots of sights and sounds of a successful restaurant. They seemed to have a great following of people who order it to go, as their take out was busy the whole time I was there. The servers are friendly and the owners are always there ensuring a great experience. The portions of the food themselves are great! They give you a lot of food that could last for more than one meal. The flavors are very nice, too. I tried one of the soups and it was amazing as well as the pad see ew with chicken!! The noddles, greens, and chicken were top notch and paired super well. I would highly recommend this place!

Ordered lunch delivery from here for the first time today. It was decent--nothing mind-blowing, but solid. I'm definitely open to trying a few other dishes to see what they're really working with. The chicken fried rice arrived hot, which was a nice bonus!

I have wanted to gate keep this spot for awhile, but I have finally come out of the woodworks to share my experience here.. This place is awesome. They have validated parking, it's close to bars, the food is easy and quick and authentic, service is great, and it's open late. When I moved to Austin from San Francisco and Portland, I was sad that I was leaving behind cities that have been built on the multicultural centers that they were and I wouldn't be able to get as good of Asian food as I would crave. This place changed that for me. It was the first Thai hole in the wall where I walked in and felt immediately at home. The place is loud, the kitchen is busy, and the smells were great. I come back here time and time again when craving Thai food because they have everything that I want, for a price that's reasonable.

This place is my go-to Thai restaurant -- and for good reason. I'm totally obsessed with the Thai chive dumplings. I've even ordered them for delivery just to get my fix. That crispy outside + chewy inside + flavorful filling? Absolute perfection. Their fried rice is crazy good -- I always add eggplant, and trust me, it takes it to the next level! I wasn't a fan of the fried spring rolls, but the fresh spring rolls? So good! The veggies are super fresh, and the peanut sauce is on point. Service is always quick and friendly, and the vibe of the place is really chill. Definitely one of those spots you just keep coming back to.

For $40 we should get more food than this

Since moving to Austin from Houston, I've struggled to find a good Thai restaurant. This place had been my favorite so far. I always order the same dish--green curry with tofu--so I know what to expect. Unfortunately, this time the portion was noticeably smaller even though the price was the same. The curry was also much sweeter than usual, and there were fewer pieces of tofu and eggplant. We actually keep the containers from previous orders, and this one was clearly smaller than before. I'm really disappointed because I liked this place, but for the price, the portion and quality just weren't there this time.

    Pad Thai
    Cam H.

3.8/4 stars. Wouldn't say it's the best Thai spot in town but it's decent. Some dishes are better than others. My pad Thai was a bit too soggy and sweet. Didn't quite have the umami flavor. My husband really enjoyed his crispy curry duck but for me it was a bit too salty. I didn't like the green curry dish much because the chicken wasn't tender enough. My most favorite dish there was probably the sausage fried rice. Very good service. They were patient and nice. Cool vibes inside. Can be a casual hang out spot and they can also host larger groups.

After landing in San Antonio yesterday to kick off my summer vacation, the very first thing I did…read moretoday was ask my friend to bring me back to this restaurant. The reason is simple: we ate here two years ago, and it left such a great impression on us that we had been looking forward to coming back ever since. Fortunately, not much has changed in terms of either the quality or the overall presentation of the food. Everything is still delicious, especially the Pho Combo. To be honest, it's far better than most of the pho we've had in Germany. That doesn't mean the pho in Germany is bad--it simply means this place matches my personal taste much better. As for the downsides, they're almost exactly the same as before. Parking is still a major challenge, and I understand that's probably not something the restaurant can easily fix. We also tried calling ahead to reserve a table, but they don't take reservations, whether you're coming with a group of 5-7 people or just 2-3 people. We arrived at 6:45 PM and still had to wait about 40 minutes before being seated, which was honestly quite inconvenient. Coincidentally, there was live music tonight, which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the sound system wasn't very good, so it was difficult to hear what the singers were performing. Then again, this isn't really the type of venue where people come specifically to enjoy live music, so most diners didn't seem to pay much attention to it. One thing I did notice was that either the kitchen has made a few changes over the past two years, or perhaps my own taste has changed a little. The food felt slightly saltier than I remembered, and the pho broth was richer and creamier. While that added some depth of flavor, it was a bit too rich for my liking, to the point where finishing the entire bowl of broth felt a little overwhelming. The braised short ribs were incredibly tender--so tender that a knife was almost unnecessary, and they could easily be pulled apart with just a fork. While many people would probably see that as a positive, I actually missed the slightly firmer, meatier texture I remembered from my last visit. That said, these are relatively minor issues. The quality may have dipped just a little compared to our previous visit, but this is still an excellent restaurant. If they can fine-tune those small details, it would easily return to being one of my favorite places. There's a good chance we'll stop by one more time before heading back to Germany.

Is it that time of year for another 1618 update? Absolutely…read more After my umpteenth visit, I think it's safe to say I've worked my way through almost the entire menu (minus a few noodle, chicken & vegetarian dishes). My 2025 review still stands, but after so many visits, I've noticed a few items haven't been good as they used to, particularly the chicken wings (and yes, all three of them). The Garlic Wings haven't been hitting quite the same. They've started to taste a little dry, and the saucier wings taste better the next day since they don't have time to steep through once served. The Filet Mignon Pepper Steak is still my favorite dish on the menu, but I still can't justify ordering it family-style anymore. It's delicious, but the portion just doesn't match the price. One of the newest additions--the Truffle Fried Rice is spectacular. It's light, not overpowering with truffle, and the fish eggs really adds the perfect little pop of texture/flavor. I don't think I breathed the entire time I scarfed it down!! 1618 is still one of my favorite restaurants in Austin of all time, but I think it's time for the menu to elevate a bit and dive deeper into less mainstream Asian cuisine. If anyone can do it, 1618 can.

Pad see ew with chicken - I liked their version and would probably get it again. Pad woon sen with pork - typically my favorite noodle dish and I think they did a good job. Garden roll - good but not as packed as others I've had, and at a higher price point. Pineapple fried rice with pork - I liked this but was a bit on the oily side. Tom kha soup - I thought this was very good and had a decent amount of chicken and mushrooms Overall I liked everything but some items I felt I had better versions of elsewhere. It's also on the pricier side. Still, if in central Austin I think it's a solid choice for Thai food.

There were so many new dishes that caught my eye, but I immediately gravitated toward the Creamy Crab Curry and it was absolutely the right choice. The curry was rich, creamy and packed with flavor while the fried soft-shell crab was perfectly cooked and added a great texture to the dish. Honestly, it's the kind of meal I could see myself ordering every week. My partner went with the Lost Recipe, which looked just as delicious. You can never really go wrong with fried chicken, and this version certainly didn't disappoint. The service was equally impressive. Our server was friendly, attentive and checked in regularly throughout the meal. She even brought us a complimentary crab pastry to try, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. One thing to note this place gets busy, especially during lunch so plan accordingly. That said, the food and service are well worth it and the menu is reasonably priced. Kiin Di has successfully made the jump from food truck to full-service restaurant and it's definitely earned a spot on my regular rotation.
